As the governing body of the Ohio Dental Association, the ODA House of Delegates convenes each year during Annual Session. Guests may attend all meetings, but only seated delegates may address issues at the meetings. All ODA members may address issues during Reference Committee Hearings. The House of Delegates will take place at the Hilton Columbus Downtown Hotel.

Getting a patient to say YES to their treatment plan is essential to their overall health and critical for the growth and success of a practice but can be challenging. Learn how to maximize the impact of your TC to quickly build trust and rapport with patients. Discover tools needed to educate patients in understanding their treatment plan. Revise your internal new patient processes to use information in a more powerful way and take the mystery out of talking about money to patients; it doesn’t have to feel taboo anymore. Receive your 2-year certification for CPR following the American Heart Association Guidelines for healthcare professionals. Learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and foreign-body airway obstruction. Recognize heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulty in children and learn skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with barrier devices and bag-mask devices) as well as demonstrate the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Fees collected for this class do not necessarily represent revenue for the American Heart Association. This course also qualifies as recertification if you have a current AHA 2-year healthcare provider certification.
