NPPC and the Supply Chain team are currently seeking undergraduate students with a strong interest in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field of study to become an integral part of their group. As part of the supply chain team, interns will undergo extensive supply chain training providing information on sales, reporting/metrics, business program details and an overview of the corporate logistics department. Following the training, interns will proceed to manufacturing training by participating in visiting the Davenport and Clinton plants. During the plant visits, they will gain a deeper understanding of the manufacturing process of pet food, transportation, warehousing, raw materials and quality assurance. From this point forward, interns will be completing an assigned project which will be formally presented to a leadership team. The items below are just a quick snapshot of what you may learn in this exciting and accelerated 10-week internship program. RESPONSIBILITIES/PROJECTS: ' Develop knowledge, awareness and understanding of the Consumer Products and PetCare industries including understanding the consumer and or pet owner, knowing Nestle Purina brands and the competition, and identifying and analyzing segment trends. ' Gain exposure to all the internal and external supply chain including plant logistics, warehousing and transportation , customer team supply chain management, Order Revenue Management and the customers. ' Cultivate internal and external working relationships that provide exposure to multi-disciplines, account management and customer teams. ' Work on specific assigned projects that focus on delivering results against our business plan. Types of projects may include performing analyses on automated customer scheduling systems, developing weekly reports to track On Time and Fill Rates, analyzing internal operations methodologies to improve performance/costs, analyzing out-of-stocks opportunities within Nestlé Purina and performing deep-dive analyses on the internal forecasting/promotional tool. You will be expected to make meaningful and measurable contributions to our business during the summer. Successful completion of the intern program, may lead to a full time job offer to the Management Trainee program upon graduation.

MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP Internship Description: Work to promote and prepare for WaterFire events as related to the Development department, which primarily involves marketing, fundraising, public relations, and event planning. The


internship may be done for academic credit, career exploration, or service learning.
