Teacher Training Qualifications, Professional Development Courses, and Educational Experiences for Individuals and Groups

Welcome... ...to the new teacher training factsheets folder, which holds the details of our established qualification courses, and our latest new programme ideas for groups! Who we are We have 20 years’ experience training teachers at all stages of their career. Our senior training team have been working in the English Language Teaching (ELT) industry for many years, and have held senior positions within schools, accrediting organisations, and as examiners for both Trinity College and Cambridge English.

Qualifications we offer The internationally recognised qualifications, the Trinity Certificate, and Trinity Diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) are our bestknown programmes, available for individuals and groups on set dates throughout the year.

Group Courses:

English Teachers and subject teachers who use English We have extensive experience developing tailor-made programmes for English language teachers, and teachers who teach other subjects in English (using a CLIL -Content and Language Integrated Learning system). These courses can contain General English lessons as part of the timetable, or not, whatever our clients require. All of these courses come with the option to take the Cambridge English Teacher Knowledge Test (TKT) as an extra.

Group Courses:

Bespoke programmes for professionals in any specialism Our partnerships with the International Colleges of the Oxford International Group, accrediting bodies, advisory organisations, and

specialists from a wide variety of industries, allow us to collaboratively build tailor-made educational experiences for professionals in any specialism, whether they use English or not. We can organise visits to academic institutions, or places of work, within a varied programme delivered by expert guest speakers. We can arrange a varied set of outings and excursions to meet your expectations, and your budget, and we can provide your group with a translator (if required), and a team of activity leaders (or guides) to support participants throughout their stay. We work with integrity, and believe in putting passion and pride into everything that we create. Whether you are coming as an individual for a Trinity programme, or organising a group for a tailor-made course, we will deliver a high-quality, memorable, educational experience.

FAQs So, where can I go?

Individuals can take the Trinity CertTESOL full-time in London - Greenwich, or part-time in Brighton. The Trinity DipTESOL is predominantly an online course, which ends with a 2-week assessment component in Greenwich. We are always developing new programmes, so it’s worth getting in touch to see if we have new qualifications, or courses for individuals.

The Trinity courses are only available at specific times of year (see our factsheet!) but closed group courses can be delivered any time of the year, start on any day and run for any length of time!

We would love to work with you and design the perfect course. If your goal is to create a course for individual admissions, in the UK or overseas, we can support you with content and ‘taster’ packages to help your promotional efforts and boost recruitment. If you are bidding for a governmentfunded closed group, we can help with any documentation required to help you secure this.

Closed groups of English language teachers, or teachers who use English, can enjoy a course at any of our year-round schools. We can also deliver this type of training overseas. Specialist educational experiences for groups are available in the UK only, and though we tend to base these in London, Oxford or Brighton, around one of our yearround schools, we can be very flexible with location depending on client requirements.

Do you have a minimum group size? A group must be at least 8 people, and though there is no maximum number, we do recommend a ratio of 25:1, teacher to teacher trainer. Our Trinity CertTESOL courses are different, and can only accommodate 12 individuals in total.

Can you arrange accommodation? We have a range of options available, from host families to residential accommodation, in Greenwich, Oxford and Brighton. Please let us know as early as you can so we can check availability!
