Welcome... ...to the latest Year Round Group factsheets folder, which holds all of our latest new and exciting programme ideas for your group! At Oxford International, we strongly believe that travel not only broadens the mind but it also provides the students with one of the most lifeenhancing experiences. We create a wide range of programmes to suit your needs, all of which centre around a first-class English education. Our core values have been at the heart of everything we have done over the last 30 years. We are proud of what we do and what we have achieved but we never stand still and are always looking to create and innovate with exciting new lessons and programmes.

So, where can I go with my group? From the sun in San Diego to the beautiful architecture and history of Oxford, we have a choice of 6 beautiful destinations for you to choose from in both the UK and North America!

When can I go? Any time of the year, start on any day for any length of time!

Do you have a minimum group size? A group must be at least 5 people, and remember if they are a junior group, they must travel with a Group Leader. If your group has a mix of junior students and adults this is also fine for us but we encourage the lessons to all be at the same

time so the group can stay together during excursions and activities.

Benefits of sending a group • Sending a group is so much more cost effective than sending an individual student • We will have an opportunity to design a bespoke, tailormade academic programme, that will be as exciting for your students, as well as for our experienced teachers • Together with our client we will carefully plan a programme of visits, work-shops and other activities to enhance the learning experience in subjects, such as Business & Employability, Sustainability, Fashion, Architecture

• When joining as a group, you will still be able to mix up with other international students, or choose to have a focused sessions just for the group participants • Groups can study not only in the class, but also have lessons on locations, whether it is a museum, business enterprise or science laboratory Please use this folder as an opportunity to explore what we have to offer, but remember we are constantly developing new and improved ideas – so if you have an idea of what you’d like to do, make sure you tell us, as we would love to create it with you!

Academic Information Our accredited schools have been providing English language courses to students over 26 years with over 50,000 students travelling to our campuses every year. We have the tools, reputation and passion to help students achieve their learning and academic goals. We teach using communicative methods, so our classes are very interactive. There are lots of speaking and collaborative work, allowing students to learn through doing. A group can choose between general English, career-focused business English or exam preparation courses. Alternatively, we also offer very exciting English plus programmes or English for specific purposes, so students can deepen their academic knowledge while learning English. We do offer level testing upon arrival as well as continuous monitoring of learning progress and diagnostic feedback. Our adult students also benefit from access to our online platform with a wealth of material to improve their English in their study time and at home. This will include grammar and vocabulary quizzes, video lessons with accompanying exercises and study resources for exam preparation.

Accommodation We offer a range of great accommodation options in both the UK and North America – all suited to different needs and budgets! Homestay One of our most popular accommodation methods is Homestay, which allows the students to experience life in a local family. It is also a fantastic way of enhancing the students’ language skills in everyday situations. Students will make their own way to school each day using public transport as well as eating breakfast

and often dinner with the hosts also. All of our homestay providers are accredited by either the British Council (UK), Languages Canada (Canada) or The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) (USA). These accreditations ensure our standards are met every year and we are always working with people who strive for our own high standards. For more information on what Homestay is and what to expect from staying with a homestay family, please check out our UK guide: oxfordinternationalenglish.com/ student-life/accommodation

Residential Alternatively, we also have a great range of residential accommodation and hotel options, which are

available year round, meaning that the students can all stay in the same location together! Many of our residential options are close to the year round schools, which makes it easy for our students to make their way into class. We also have a great selection of full board residential packages with lessons, transfers, activities, excursions and public transport passes (where applicable) all in amazing locations. Examples of these would include University campuses – often a great way for students to sample whether they would like to study in this environment in their future! Spaces fill fast, so do let us know when your group are travelling and then we can check the availability for you!
