Ojai Valley Residents • For Your Information A Pickleball Club has moved in right next to the new children’s memorial garden in the Ojai Valley Community Demonstration Garden. The noise from their pickleballs can be heard all over the neighborhood. The people who created and use the quiet peaceful gardens will be driven out by the extreme POP, POP, POPPING NOISE.
THE VALUE OF THE NEARBY HOMES WILL PLUMMET !!! The club has installed nets for the use and promotion of their game. They now use the area from 8am to dusk and will not be satisfied until they have their pickleball game played every day, seven days a week, all day long. The noise and parking problems will only get worse. They tried to play their game in other areas but the neighbors were warned in advance and stopped them. They managed to get approval from the Ojai City Council without informing the nearby neighbors. The noise sounds like eight people firing a handgun all at the same time, all day long with no breaks.
