SUPERINTENDENT The challenge of preparing a report that summarizes 365 days

remains one of the most daunting tasks I have ever faced. For approximately 40 years I have consistently attempted to record for posterity events, data, and spiritual analysis that can seldom be adequately verbalized. Even with my acknowledgement of inadequacy, I still find myself rejoicing in the unmerited favor of God. During my years of serving the youth of this Fellowship, I marveled at the miracles of God as I attempted to add the number of individuals and to describe the spiritual encounters that were reported through youth rallies, summer camps and retreats, mission endeavors, and discipleship training. As a local pastor, I really never reflected on the true state of the church until I approached the task of preparing a written report to be shared with the membership as part of our annual business meeting. Today, my heart over-flows as I attempt to describe the goodness of God that we have experienced within the family of the Oklahoma Assemblies of God Ministries. We serve an awesome God! One area that allows for a statistical analysis is data regarding our credentialed, ministerial family. At the end of 2015 there were 1,632 credentialed Assemblies of God ministers within the Oklahoma District. I rejoice as I reflect on the granting of credentials. During Credential Celebrations we recognized 40 individuals with a Certificate of Ministry and rejoiced with 47 that were approved for presentation as a Licensed Minister. In addition, hands were laid upon 26 people that received a Certificate of Ordination. Of course this number doubles and even triples when you realize that many of these had a spouse and children already standing by their side. Praise God – He is still in the business of calling people! Several years ago I sought the guidance of our District Presbytery as we defined our mission, our core values, and our purpose. I often evaluate what we are doing as an organization in relationship to our reason for being. Linda and I are so grateful to have a team of coministers who served by our side as we have attempted to “live the dream” that God has placed in our hearts. Lindell and Phyllis Warren are worthy of special recognition. After 30 years of serving the Oklahoma District as Missions Directors, they have chosen to retire. What an asset they have been to our Fellowship! They have been a direct part of “our team” referred to above for 16 of

those years and have served with effectiveness, loyalty, and devotion. Thanks for a job well-done! Our other directors, coordinators, administrative assistants, staff, and camp employees have gone above and beyond in dedicated service. Together, this core of leaders has demonstrated that WE EXIST TO SERVE. Because of a team effort, we have attempted to embrace, to empower, to encourage, to enable, and to equip our Oklahoma ministers and ministries. The third area I would mention is related to the financial picture of the Oklahoma District Council. There are many ways to look at figures and each member has access to the audited report as prepared by our outside auditors, BKD CPA’s and Advisors; however, I would simply highlight a few miracles: 1. We have reduced our principal indebtedness on our new camp facilities by $700,000 during 2015. 2. We closed the year with a positive increase of $185,000 above our expenses. 3. The General Council credits Oklahoma with $16,000,000 given to missions. 4. LFTL, LIFE, STL, BGMC – all finished in the top five in the nation. 5. Our new AGOK Foundation currently has over $100,000 in investments. Linda and I are truly blessed to have had this opportunity to serve our Fellowship one more year. Time is flying – but God is good! His blessings are everlasting to all generations! Respectfully submitted, H. Franklin Cargill, Pastor Oklahoma AG Ministries

MISSIONS REPORT As I prepare this final report to the Oklahoma District Council, I

am reminded of the brevity of life and the certainty of change, my perspective of the past 30 years lies somewhere between a blur and a long time. Without a doubt, serving the Oklahoma District this many years has been an honor beyond imagination. I wish to express my deepest appreciation to all who have believed in me, prayed for me and openly supported me. Through the years I have faithfully attended and supported the Native American Camps and special meetings; the Deaf Retreats; the Teen Challenge Meetings; the Cowboy Church Conferences; the Ethnic Meetings; and the Chi Alpha Events. For 23 years I served on the Light-For-The-Lost Leadership Team conducting banquets, participating in the national meetings, and doing much of the administrative work. For the same number of years I took an active role in Royal Rangers Ministry, working on the development of Camp Adventure, Annual Pow-Wow, and the administrative work with the District Commander. It was my high honor to serve four years on the National U.S. Missions Board. Also, I enjoyed serving over 27 years on the American Indian College Board of Regents, with most of those years on the Executive Board. I have served the Oklahoma Teen Challenge Ministry as a board member since its inception over 28 years ago. And, I chaired the Decade of Harvest Committee for nine years. Other things I have been involved with include Reach the World Auction, which ran for seven consecutive years. Those missions’ auctions raised approximately $300,000. I began the District Men’s Retreats in Oklahoma. For 23 years I planned and conducted the retreats at Turner Falls and elsewhere. In missions I spearheaded the Cash For Candidate Fund for new missionaries. Over a million dollars of new money was raised for missions over a 16 year period. It has been my privilege to preach in the great pulpits of Oklahoma for the last 30 years. Through the years I have ministered in over 350 of our Oklahoma Churches. At the invitation of our missionaries I have preached on five continents in 25 different countries. I have preached

in the chapel services of American Indian College, Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. Also, I was honored to preach in several other districts representing missions and men’s ministries. I have loved the work of Missions Director. Phyllis and I have been blessed over and over again. Our hearts overflow with thanksgiving for all we have been blessed with – a good family and home, friends galore, and God’s favor on our future. Through the years the Lord has blessed us with good clerical help. Blessings to all the wonderful people who have worked hard to make me look good. Our present Administrative Assistant, Dona Bunn, has served with distinction and loyalty for eight years now. Her value will really show during the transition period. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention our beloved superintendent, Frank Cargill. Our relationship has remained good and strong throughout the years. Phyllis and I have been blessed by Frank and Linda Cargill’s benevolence time and time again. We are truly grateful for our wonderful leaders. As I wrap up this final report I wish to say, there exists plenty of room for creativity and improvement in the Missions Department. I pledge my support to the decisions that will be made. In closing let me say, “Old Missions Directors never die, they just hide in their war room praying for the new generation of missionaries”. Respectfully submitted, Lindell Warren Missions Director

CHURCH REPORT 2015

was a significant year of building on the momentum of Century Leadership and partnering with ministries such as Fivestarman and other Kingdom-minded organizations. From coffee stops to leadership roundtables, resourcing and relationships are essential to why we exist as a fellowship! I continue to be inspired by the diversity, calling, and giftedness of churches across Oklahoma. And, the blessing comes in sharing our lives and ministries together. Because of the many facets of Church Ministries, it takes a competent team working in the harmony of serving the various adult ministries within the local church: Shirley Ophus, our office assistant; Gary and Debbie Pratt, our Singles Ministries Coordinators; Martin and Janice Perryman, our Senior Adult Ministries Coordinators; our LFTL Reps from the 14 sections. Appreciation also is extended to our Century Leadership Lead Team who served us so well last year in strengthening this leadership culture: Darrin Ballard, Kevin Conner, Jayson Evans, Kathy Key, Rob McClure, and Clint Smith.

Grateful. That’s the word that comes to mind as I reflect 2015. As I connect with women across our state and nation, I am thankful to have the opportunity to serve alongside exceptional ladies. These are women who deal with daily life, but who love God and are passionate about fulfilling His purpose for their lives.

I am grateful for the wonderful leadership team who serve Women’s Ministries. My thanks to this group of ladies who sacrifice time and resources for meetings, LIFE rallies, Elite Ladies luncheons, conference and working in many capacities. I am grateful for pastors who cast vision and support ministry to women in their local church body.

Michelle and I could not be more grateful for the honor of serving our Oklahoma Assemblies of God family. Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your support and friendship. This new year has already been filled with new relationships and strategic connections that will encourage forward progress in the days ahead. Respectfully submitted, Darren S. Pilcher Church Ministries Director

I am grateful for the opportunity to support Oklahoma missionaries through LIFE. As they sacrifice in many ways, we have the opportunity to support them through prayer and finances so they can carry out their God-given mandate. Thank you for allowing me to serve alongside Darren in Church Ministries and to lead the women of Oklahoma. I am truly grateful. Respectfully submitted, Michelle Pilcher Women’s Ministries Director

I am grateful for women’s ministry coordinators who minister to the hearts of ladies, lead outreach to women in their community, cast vision for missions, work hard to give to LIFE.

YOUTH REPORT We are thankful for the opportunity to serve the churches and student ministries of the Oklahoma District this past year as District Youth Directors. As we go into our ninth year serving in this role, it’s still surprising the great challenges that a new year presents, and there are so many rewarding opportunities in this position but none more meaningful than the genuine relationships that we get the privilege of forging during this season.

We want to thank the ministers of the Oklahoma District for their support and allowing us the opportunity to share our heart for student ministry and missions in their pulpits. Our ministry consisted of church services, revivals, youth services, conventions, University/college/ high school chapels, camps, rallies, retreats and STL Tour and services. We love the students of this generation and the youth pastors who lead them and it is our continued desire to develop generations to lead. During this past year we have led the following District activities: Speed-The Light Tour, Girls Retreat, Bible Quiz, Fine Arts Festival, Christian Fun Day, five Youth Camps, Campus Missions One Day, Convergence Youth Convention, and Youth Pastor’s Retreat. We participated in many of the normal National Events such as DYD and One Voice Conference, National STL Banquet, National Fine Arts, NYAC (National Youth Advisory Committee) and the SAGU Board of Regents! I appreciate the youth committee for their help and ideas in leading the student ministries of this state. We also want to thank Cody Phillips for all of his hard work and dedication to the OYM team. I’m very thankful for my family: Seth is now my size and he is driving. Children truly are a gift from the Lord…until they get a speeding ticket! Jill and I are celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary this year and there is really something cool about building a life together! I love the journey! Grayson would be eight getting ready to turn nine, however, I’m quite confident that he would not trade places with any of us at this point. We look forward to seeing him again one day! Jill, Seth, and I appreciate you, Brother Cargill, and the District Leadership for allowing us to serve in this season and look forward to what the Lord has in this upcoming year! If you took the time to read this report, first of all, thank you, and second, please text me and let me know you read it! Developing Generations to Lead, Doug Everaard Youth Director

CHILDREN’S REPORT Thank You to the Oklahoma District for allowing us to serve you in the Oklahoma Children’s Ministries Department. We count it an honor to serve the greatest district in the nation. We are truly blessed to be a part of what’s going on in Oklahoma! It is not only an honor to serve the Oklahoma District, but it is a special treat to serve alongside the incredible family that God has given us at our District Offices. It truly feels as though I work with family.

Nyree Brodrick is our OCM Administrative Assistant, who does a phenomenal job keeping the chaos controlled and making sure that everything in the office is running smooth. She is a great asset to have on our team. Thank you to our Children’s Ministries Coordinators in helping run the many ministries that make up the Oklahoma Children’s Ministries Department: District BGMC Coordinator – Bev Robertson; District Royal Ranger Commander – Sid McCoy; District Girl’s Ministries Coordinator – Liz Moon; Junior Bible Quiz Coordinator – Steve Grisham. I would also like to thank all 14 of our OCM Reps throughout the state: Ryon Moore, Sherry Stacy, Dosha Furr, Trisha Bailey, Joe Martinez, Debora Wilson, Esther Douthit, Richard Smith, Terry Cuthbertson, Greg Ruple, Licia Walters, and Gary Rogers. I consider it an honor to have you guys representing OCM in your own sections across the state. You have probably heard the saying, “Behind every good man, stands a good woman.” That may be true for some, but I would like to think what makes me successful in ministry is my calling from God, and the helpmate that He has given me to accomplish the things He has called me to do. Joy, thanks so much for not only standing behind me, but standing beside me, and sometimes standing in front of me pulling me through situations that ministry has taken us through. D.J. and Tori, I count it a blessing to be able to see what God is doing in each of you. The way that you use the talents that He has given you to minister and bless others makes me the proudest Dad in the world. Thanks so much for being a part of what Mom and I do. Finally, thanks also to the pastors, mom and dads, children’s pastors and leaders that support Oklahoma Children’s Ministries throughout the year. We could not do what it is that God has called and mandated us to do, if it were not for the prayers, support and the backing of each and every one of you. You are constantly in our prayers hearts and prayers. God Bless The Oklahoma District! Dean Guthrie Children’s Ministries Director
