i2E, a private, not-for-profit Oklahoma corporation focused on growing Oklahoma’s technology-based entrepreneurial economy, was awarded a $1 million federal grant from EDA. This grant will allow i2E to launch an executive-in-resident program while also expanding resources for other growth stage businesses. This grant will be matched with another $1 million collectively from the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the City of Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, the Oklahoma Business Roundtable and Presbyterian Health Foundation.

While TRDC exists to benefit Chamber members, the volunteers certainly see rewards for their months of hard work. Lunch ‘n’ Learns allow volunteers to discover more about the Chamber’s

work and how local companies can benefit from Chamber marketing opportunities. Reward sessions were held weekly throughout the campaign to reward and motivate volunteers. On August 12, these hard-working volunteers will gather together once more to celebrate the end of the campaign with TRDC Victory event.
