Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird A New Play by Aaron Sorkin Co-production with Oklahoma Children’s Theatre
October 23 – 27, 2019 Adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, To Kill a Mockingbird takes place in a sleepy Alabama town in the midst of the Great Depression. The facade of the seemingly peaceful town begins to crack when a young black man is accused of a terrible crime. Driven by an unshakable moral conviction, local lawyer Atticus Finch defends the man in a trial that sends violent waves through the community. Now in a new adaptation by Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Newsroom), this hard-hitting work explores prejudice, compassion, and the question of what is right.

Arcadia by
TOM STOPPARD
Arcadia By Tom Stoppard
December 5 – 8, 2019 Arcadia moves back and forth between 1809 and the present on an elegant English estate. The 1809 scenes reveal a household in transition, as, thirteen-year-old Lady Thomasina and her tutor delve into intellectual and romantic issues. Present day scenes introduce two competing scholars who are researching a possible scandal at the estate in 1809 involving Lord Byron. This brilliant play moves smoothly between the centuries and explores the nature of truth and time, the difference between classical and romantic temperaments, and the disruptive influence of sex on our life orbits - the one crucial attraction Newton left out.

The Laramie Project By Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project
February 6 – 9, 2020 In October 1998, Matthew Shepard was kidnapped, severely beaten, and left tied to a fence in the middle of the prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming, and he died several days later in an area hospital. He was the target of this assault because he was gay. The Tectonic Theater Project made six trips to Laramie over the course of a year and a half, and conducted more than 200 interviews with the people of the town. The Laramie Project is a breathtaking collage of those interviews and the company’s own experience in Laramie that explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable.
THE TROJAN WOMEN BY EURIPIDES
The Trojan Woman By Euripides
April 2 – 5, 2020 The Trojan Women is widely considered the greatest anti-war play ever written, and it remains both timeless and timely, a poignant meditation on the brutality that always falls upon women and children in the aftermath of armed conflict. The play centers on Hecuba, the queen of Troy, and her family on the morning after the Greek conquest of her city. Surrounded by a chorus of mothers who have lost their sons, wives who have lost their husbands, and sisters who have lost fathers and brothers, the women come together to tell their stories, give each other solace, and try to cobble together a new life in the rubble.
