Excellence in Education • All business students have access to 12 Bloomberg Terminals, which are resources for premier financial data used to monitor and analyze market data. Each student can become certified and benefit from integrating theory with real-world practice, while setting themselves apart in a competitive job market. • Expanded opportunities for study abroad and research, such as the DOERS Program for travel to Taipei, Taiwan. • The average class size is fewer than 20 students. Individualized instruction and small classes ensure that each student receives encouragement and assistance. • 100% of classes are taught by professors, not graduate students, and 90% of them hold doctorate degrees and regularly publish articles in professional journals. • 92% of Meinders graduates are employed upon graduation or choose to attend graduate school.

Opportunities You Can’t Get

Anywhere Else

• Business students can join the Investment Club, where students are able to invest real money into the stock market. For the past 14 years, the Investment Club, which includes one undergraduate team and one graduate team, have been loaned $200,000 at the beginning of each fall semester by alumnus and business school namesake Herman Meinders. For the 2019-2020 academic year, the club was once again profitable and generated thousands of dollars in scholarship. • Students have the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills through faculty-sponsored business competitions, as well as special workshops and events. • Meinders School of Business is home to the Economic Research Policy Institute (ERPI), which operates much like a small business. Students have the opportunity to work there, completing data analytics and economic impact studies for companies in the Oklahoma area. 100% of the students who work in ERPI are employed when they graduate.
