Musical Theater Program for 2018-2019 (Onstage). • Music majors have the unique opportunity to double major. • Instrumentalists can audition for talent awards before applying for admission. Non-music majors can participate in instrumental music.


School of

Theatre • Upon admission to the School of Theatre, students automatically become part of the TheatreOCU company and can audition for four main stage productions each year. TheatreOCU also produces eight Stage II productions, allowing more stage time for performance majors and hands-on opportunities for the design and production majors. • The School of Theatre produces and supports more productions than any other undergraduate program in the United States.

The Entertainment Business program does not require a specific performing art talent.

freshman scholarships At the time of your audition and/or interview you are automatically considered for both admission and talent based scholarship. You will be notified of admission and talent based scholarship once your audition and/or interview has been reviewed. At that time, if you are admitted, you will also find out if you will receive a talent based scholarship.

COMPETITIVE SCHOLARSHIPS Your application for admission will also be your application for competitive scholarships. Deadlines and details are below. February 1 - Priority Scholarship Application Deadline

CLARA LUPER SCHOLARSHIP Amount: Up to full block tuition, standard room and board

If you would like to be considered for competitive scholarships, please submit a resume and an additional letter of recommendation to admissions@okcu.edu, if not already included in your application materials.

OCULEADS: PRESIDENT’S LEADERSHIP CLASS Amount: Varies

Notifications will be made by March 31. All university scholarships require fulltime enrollment.

ESPORTS SCHOLARSHIP Students wishing to compete on our varsity level Esports team are eligible to try out for talent based scholarship awards. Scholarship amounts vary and are stackable with other university merit scholarships but may not exceed the fullblock tuition rate.

TALENT AWARDS Dance and Entertainment, Music, and Theatre scholarships are awarded based on audition and/or interview and may be combined with academic merit scholarships, not to exceed the cost of block tuition. SPEECH AND DEBATE SCHOLARSHIP Amount: $1,500 - $6,000 annually
