3+2 Dual Degree Engineering Program with Washington University in St. Louis. Students complete three years at OKCU and then transfer to Washington University in St. Louis to complete two years of engineering coursework. Students earn two undergraduate degrees - a BS, Pre-Engineering from OKCU and a BS, Engineering from Washigton University in St. Louis.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT APPLICANTS WHO HAVE AN OKCU UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE, HAVE COMPLETED THE PREREQUISITES WITHIN SEVEN YEARS OF APPLYING FOR THE PROGRAM, AND HAVE A 3.2 CUMULATIVE GPA ARE GUARANTEED AN INTERVIEW FOR THE PA PROGRAM.

is an interdisciplinary major of political science and philosophy. The plan includes preferential admission to the OKCU School of Law and students may complete their combined BA and JD degrees in only six years, rather than the usual seven.

Tony-Award winners Kelli O'Hara (Vocal Performance '98) and Kristin Chenoweth (Music Theater '91, Master of Music '93) have each been staples on Broadway for more than a decade.


DEETTA CRAVENS, POLITICAL SCIENCE, PHILOSOPHY, SPANISH ‘12 Cravens was a triple major in political science, philosophy and Spanish at OKCU. She earned a Fulbright U.S. Student Program scholarship to teach English in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She then received the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship to attend the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She began her foreign service career last summer by starting her A-100 Foreign Service Officer Orientation training in Arlington, VA.

ALEX ENTERLINE, ACTING ‘14 After graduating in 2014, Enterline was cast to play the lead role in the first national tour of “Nice Work If You Can Get It.”

ASHLEY BOWEN MURPHY, FINANCE ‘02, JD LAW ‘05; AND KAMI BROKAW HUDDLESTON, GRAPHIC DESIGN ‘03 Murphy and Huddleston are entrepreneurs who combined their business, graphic design, and law degrees to successfully launch The Brides of Oklahoma magazine in 2007 and The Brides of North Texas in 2008. Their company is now a multi-media wedding resource that includes websites, blogs, and a mobile app.

SASHA HUTCHINGS, DANCE PERFORMANCE ‘11 Hutchings is a Broadway performer in New York City and was an original ensemble member in the hit musical “Hamilton.”

KRISTEN BAILEY, NURSING ‘13 Bailey was recently recognized as an Outstanding Nursing Alumna by the Kramer School of Nursing for implementing a new program at the Oklahoma City hospital where she works. The program was based off a project she had completed during her last semester of school.

RICK McKEE, MUSIC COMPOSITION ‘09 McKee works as a music producer out of Orlando, FL. His works range from television specials to theme parks, firework shows, parades, commercials, jingles, ride soundtracks, and cruise lines. He served as an arranger on both an Emmy-nominated song in 2009, and an Emmy Award-winning song in 2011. His music can be found on over 30 Walt Disney Record releases.

CHRIS HARRISON MASS COMMUNICATIONS ‘93 A television host and previously a sports reporter, Harrison is the current host of the ABC reality television dating show, “The Bachelor” (since 2002), and its spin-offs, “The Bachelorette” (since 2003), “Bachelor in Paradise” (since 2014) and “Bachelor Pad” (2010-2014).

JEFF POULIN ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS ‘12 Poulin serves as the arts education program manager for Americans for the Arts. He works to empower local, state, and federal supporters of arts education to become effective advocates to advance policies supportive of equitable access to arts education for all students.

The Oklahoma City University Honors Program is a universitywide program open to academically talented and motivated students who are enrolled in any of OKCU’s undergraduate programs. The program offers students the opportunity to enhance their college education through unique academic, cultural, and social experiences.


COST & SCH OLARSHIPS TUI TION 2017-18 Academic Year Tuition is based on full time, 12-16 credit hours. Fees are estimated as they vary based on major and required classes. Meal and housing charges vary based on choice.
