STEVEN C. AGEE ECONOMIC RESEARCH & POLICY INSTITUTE (ERPI) ERPI assists the Oklahoma City business community by conducting economic forecasting, marketing, macroeconomic surveys and impact studies. The Institute Scholars Program gives students opportunities to gain valuable experience in research and presentation, work ethic, and time management.
FRESHMEN UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS It is our commitment to meet 100% of MSB undergraduate student financial need through scholarships and other types of financial aid. At OCU, your application for admission is also your application for most scholarships. Academic scholarships are based on ACT/SAT test scores (excluding writing portion) and high academic ability as indicated by grade point average.
THE BUSEY INSTITUTE FOR ENTERPRISE & LEADERSHIP The Busey Institute for Enterprise and Leadership brings an exclusive leadership program including leadership assessments, coaching, professional development and educational opportunities, as well as conferences and speaker forums offered for the benefit of students. These unique programs incorporate specially developed curriculum, highly interactive workshops, leadingedge materials, and activities all committed to the personal growth, professional development, and career success of our students. LOVE’S ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER Concepts are put into practice under the mentorship of faculty, including strategic planning, business plan development, market research, accessing capital and growth management. Students can compete in the Oklahoma Governor’s Cup Business Plan Competition to develop skills that will lead tomorrow’s innovative new businesses. MARTHA BURGER CAREER SERVICES CENTER The Career Services Center, located in Meinders School of Business, assists students in charting their future career plan. Individualized career coaching, on-campus career fairs, and workshops help students prepare themselves for obtaining internships and subsequent job offers that align with their course of study.
THE HERMAN MEINDERS SCHOLARSHIP FOR BUSINESS SCHOOL TRANSFER STUDENTS This scholarship awards $5,000 per semester (with a maximum of $10,000 per academic year) in tuition for students transferring from Oklahoma City Community College or Rose State to the Meinders School of Business. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 cumulative college GPA and at least 30 transfer credit hours to meet admission requirements. NATIVE AMERICAN BUSINESS ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP The Chickasaw Nation funds five, full-tuition scholarships, for qualified Chickasaw students to study business at Meinders. Scholarship recipients will enter into the Native American Business Scholars Academy and take part in an innovative, highly-engaging academic experience. Students will participate in seminars and workshops focusing on Native American business issues, academic internships and mentorships, networking opportunities with local business leaders and community-service activities.
