The goal of the OCU Teaching Scholars Program is to serve the OKC community by preparing excellent teachers for our public schools. Students who have earned their associates degree at Oklahoma City Community College within the last five years, have a 3.0 GPA in their associate program, and plan to major in education are eligible to be Teaching Scholars at OCU. The scholarship is $9,000 (annual) and is renewable for up to five semesters by maintaining full-time enrollment of 12 hours or more per semester and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students from OCCC are also eligible for transfer student academic scholarships.
