The largest problem with a cold front is the high winds. Normally the winds will come from the west and then switch around to the north/ northeast. High winds can create problems with running to your favorite spot, as well as making it difficult to fish proficiently. It may be necessary to get in tight to the cover and use flipping and pitching techniques.
