Where To Smoke?

WHERE TO SMOKE

Riverwalk - Bricktown OKC

Written by Nate Elisah

Hey, there fellow weed enthusiasts! Welcome to a new segment of Where to Smoke? This is going to be a little different due to me not having a chance to actually go out to an OMMA card holder-friendly venue anytime recently, but I still wanted to drop some personal experience I have had smoking in this beautiful state of Oklahoma.

As I don't condone smoking in any public place that's not allowed under Oklahoma marijuana smoking guidelines… Let’s just be honest with ourselves for a second and understand that most people and probably you reading this right now have maybe and most likely smoked in your car before attending something, probably lit a spliff walking down the street with a friend, and probably got high before enjoying a movie and eating out.

Trust me “Spider-Man: No Way Home” at Harkins theatre was amazing as hell while high on the “Stuffed French Toast“ strain I picked up at American Cannabis Company, it was $35 for that beautiful ounce, but back on the topic of where to smoke.

Pretty sure, I'm not the only one to experience this but going Downtown near the riverwalk baked, is a great experience. Yea yea, I already know what some of you all are thinking,

all that walking is going to kill my high

Well as I said before, I don't condone smoking where you are not legally supposed to, but of course, If you ate some edibles and even have a dab pen, I don’t see any reason for a person to not have a great time on the OKC canal riverwalk.

I mean it’s not like you're in a high school bathroom with five kids asking you to take a rip of their pen before class, you’re minding your business and enjoying all the gorgeous agriculture this state has to offer either by yourself or even with a group of friends. What more can you want?

You have plenty of places to eat like Sonic’s burger and shakes, Fuzzy’s street tacos and Mexican cuisine, and or even get some food after a round of bowling at HeyDay, there are varieties of options to choose from.

You could literally take a water taxi tour on the canal and right after enjoying a movie or go to Brickopolis arcade games and mini-golf and have a blast.

That's not even half of what you can do there. Take at the moment to just realize how beautifully designed the area is and all the little things that keep Oklahoma beautiful. Such as having our native heritage with all the greatly designed bison statues you see scattered all over the area.

Plus all the artwork and attractions you can just see just by looking around. I don't know it's just something about growing up in a city where you have seen change for the better over time that is really amazing. I would've never thought that our city would have an official NBA team, new skyscrapers, and even streetcar transportation like San Francisco.

At the end of the day, as I'm glad that my city has grown up and has become more of a tourist attraction, it's not the attractions that bring or excite people, it's the people of this great state that make it happen.

That's why my next “Where To Smoke” and rest following is going to be for the people of this state. I’ll love to completely see what this state has to offer for the causal and extreme weed smokers. This will do it for this month’s column, see y'all for the next and always stay safe, stay kind, and stay high.
