The Divine Collection - Single Source Hash Rosin

We have made it through another year, my fellow Canna-Enthusiasts. The staff at The Chronic Magazine wishes everyone health, prosperity, happiness, and always good cannabis in the New Year. For the first pick of 2023, I knew I wanted to start the new year off with something BIG! This Cultivator/ Processor and Dispensary owner have been a staple in the Oklahoma Cannabis Market since the beginning, their brand is vast, their Logo is well known and their product speaks for itself. Exceptional Quality and Consistency is an understatement when referring to The Divine Collection’s Hash Rosin. The very first gram of legal Hash Rosin I purchased was Birthday Cake by The Divine Collection. I found this amazing brand at Tegridy Market in OKC over 3 years ago when the Hash market was young and underpopulated. I still remember the owner of the dispo saying, “Now this is the best of the best.” I was sold. The Divine Collection was an instant classic. The amazing hash rosin, the logo and the reputation made every hashie look twice for the newest Divine Drop in every dispensary. Whether the market has been under or overpopulated, The Divine Collection has always been a huge contender for the top spot on every hash rosin shelf. The Chronic Magazine was lucky enough to get to ask the Owner, Founder, and Mastermind behind The Divine Collection Hash Empire some questions recently. The Man, the Myth, and the Hash Legend are well-known by many in the Cannabis world. He is a breeder, a grower and of course a true Hash Maker in every sense of the term. You may know him as @cannadivine on Instagram, as so many of us do. He also goes by Brandon.

The Chronic: How long have you been using/growing/ processing cannabis?

I smoked my first joint at 13 (1998) in northern Wisconsin. I’ve had an ongoing relationship with cannabis in my life in one-way shape or form ever since. The growing really started to ramp up when I moved to Colorado in 2005, shortly there after the bubble hash infatuation began. Processing since 2007-8ish era. It started on bubble, evolved to BHO and Bubble, then no to BHO all together.

The Chronic: How large is your team and who does it include?

The team has grown a lot since we started! The idea of Divine began in 2012 with my wife and me, after stepping away from other cannabis breeding ventures. Coming to Oklahoma, planting our flag originally consisted of 5 people plus myself, and a couple of day-one homies that hadn’t been drug out here yet! From that original 5 to 7 more! That’s not counting the team at the dispensary! Focusing on the growing/producing side of it all, it breaks down as follows: 5 people primarly focused on the administration (metrc, financials, order fullfillment, delivery, and logistics.) This is hands down the hardest part of what we do. There are two of us in the garden, and 4 full-time bodies in the lab. Everyone however will and can wear just about any hat in the building. If we run short of hands in one area, we pull from another to get what needs to be done.

And Everybody helps when its harvest day! Divine was founded by myself and owned by myself, and my partner/right-hand Kane. He is without a doubt responsible for our growth as a company, and the man behind the phone that every purchasing manager in the state has dealt with up to this point. Giving credit specifically to his awesome team; Tessa, Autumn, and Ricky handle administration. Gavin is our road warrior. He delivers every gram of TDC, and just hash in the state(unless Dale saves the day with his part-time lovin’) Slade and Ryan hold it down in packaging. This includes printing, stickering, gramming, etc. These dudes slay! Brett washes every gram of frozen weed that comes through the building. Turtle is our squish master flex. He handles all the rosin pressing. Kenny is my guy in the gardens. He handles all of the day-to-day and building maintenance we have. Not to mention, it was one of the sets of hands that built this place. Keep in mind these are just primary job focuses, most of these people can pretty much do all of these things! And then theres me. I do, a little bit of everything. All of our in-house design, run the social media, oversee and task garden operations, analyze cultivation and lab data, cultivator relationships, try and keep these hooligans inspired, post-processing on hash-like jams, and diamonds.

The Chronic: Known for your stellar genetics and building a hash empire, what sets Divine apart from the rest.

There are a few things, the main being we are truly single sources. From breeding the cannabis to cultivating it, harvesting and processing, all the way to packaging and retail. We even print our own stickers. I actually come from cannabis. We built this from the ground up, one gram at a time, and in 3 years became one of the leading providers of solventless hash in Oklahoma. This started long before we got here. Some of the guys in the building have been with me for over a decade, and some have learned everything they know regarding cannabis in these walls. We built our entire facility, literally. Like we actually built it. Everything but the electrical was done in-house. All with no investments. Most of our genetic library comes from decades of prior work, or from an amazing network of friends built over the years. Cannabis has been so deeply intertwined with my life, it isn’t fair to say what sets us apart from the rest. I don’t see myself as “better” than the next person in this space. I, and we, still mess up with the best of them. But I will say,

I love this plant more than 95% percent of the people that work with it, And that. That is what makes Divine different. Its always been, and will always be: the love.

The Chronic: What is your company motto?

“Practice makes better”

has been a long mantra of mine since told to me by a high school chemistry teacher, and has been printed on the inside of our seed packaging since 2015.

The Chronic: What does the future hold for your companies?

That’s for the future to tell. All we are focused on is improving what we do, and settling into our space. I’m anxious to get back to my breeding efforts and get some flowers on shelves. There are definitely more solventless product offerings and tricks up our sleeves, but being a small team, it all takes time. So as long as Oklahoma keeps smoking good cannabis products, we’ll keep doing our best to keep making them!

The Divine Collection and its other company, Just Hash can be purchased at The Divine Dispo in Tulsa, The Dab and Go Dispensaries in Edmond and Okc, and many other fine shops across the state. We highly recommend their single source. We would like to thank Brandon and his team for providing the patients of Oklahoma with clean, high-quality, amazingly consistent, and potent meds. Don’t ever pass up anything by Divine, the name says it all. This hash is truly Divine. As Always, Remember to Medicate Responsibly and Stay Lit Oklahoma.
