Neil Bowman took part again this year in the King’s Week Show Jumping gaining a 1st place in Class 4

I wanted to join Andy Snook, Head of Catering, in extending his gratitude to those in the catering team that helped provide hospitality for the University of Kent Graduation Ceremony. There was a Pimms tent which also sold Prosecco, beer and soft drinks. Chums Social Centre provided coffee, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast rolls and evening meals. There was a terrific festival like buzz in both Chums and around the Plane Tree Lawn area. Andy was extremely grateful for the dedication shown by Chris French, Kerry Reed, Sue Stevenson, Ellison Reed, Ferdinand Smith, Mark Williams and the Team of Chefs who provided the great food which was sold in Chums. Andy would also like to thank the Gardening team for arranging the beautiful flower containers along the path by Lattergate and Plane Tree Lawn, everyone was very complimentary about the display and it certainly looked like the Avenue at the Chelsea Flower Show. Yet again a great team effort and I am very grateful to everyone involved.
