The painting project intends to raise questions against gender equality. Paternity has taken most of the time since earth was formed. Feminism and gender equality has not been widely discussed until the beginning of the 20th century. Evan so, the inequality among genders could still be spotted everywhere in our daily life. And the problems have became more complicated as various new genders have appeared between the years, the trans. Which is an even more undisclosed topic in Hong Kong. As open minded as the current times could be, the deep rooted Chinese traditional values could still affect most population in Hong Kong. The values cause degrading women, extreme paternity, and gender discrimination in work-ďŹ eld. Questions should be raised on those problems, as these issues would not always be discussed in schools. And even the educators might not have correct value towards women identity, and might not be aware of women body positivity.

Do I have boobs now? trans woman starting HRT asks the Facebook nipple censors
Inspiration 1
She wants to know at what point her breasts have developed enough to be deemed sexual and, therefore, offensive to others. I got the idea to do the #DoIHaveBoobsNow experiment from thinking about exactly when my breasts would need to be covered while I was outside, Courtney told Metro.co.uk. The project is intended to challenge society s attitudes towards female nipples, but also how Facebook and Instagram see gender. If their polices are to censor topless women s bodies and they re not doing it to me, what assumptions are they making about me? She asks.
Online Petition The online double standard censorship rules needs to end! Females should be given the choice to censor or display their nipples, it's 2018. Join us in gaining equal censorship rules. Instagram and Facebook hold the strictest policies around the female form. If the picture is shown in a respectful, artistic, natural way, there is no harm to the online community.

Research on Feminism
General Idea: Drawing a women breast to mock the unfair standard in the society. Using a metaphoric way to indicate the shape, intended to create something that tricks the eye.

Inspiration 5
In some of the traditional families, would even educate the youngsters that female nipples are obscene content, while male nipples are free. Using a common object to act as a shape of a woman breast, indicating that breasts are actually a super normal thing, which has no big deal. Mocking the reality. The censor is only acting as one of the limits that society is setting for female. Picking an egg as it s one of the things that people would know from the ďŹ rst sight, it allows people to enact more thought and reect on the incident, rather than digging deeper in the visual content.

Second Final Piece The abstract piece would like to explore the other side of Traditional side of LingNan Chinese painting. Acrylic and abstract paintings are often seen as the patent of western paintings, I would like to create an abstract painting with strong palette of Chinese painting, including the elements of 「留白」and traditional colours.
An example of this eclectic style is a striking Monterey beachscape he saw on his way from Carmel to San Francisco, I the work .won a consolation ' prize in the 1985 OUB Art Corn petition. The actual scene was \ brown and grey but Tan changed I the colours because "it wouldn't come out well in Chinese paints, j you have to combine traditional < Chinese colours into it to get just f that feel". The show is a varied codec- varied of different themes, subjects, styles and techniques. A painting of a river in New Orleans is typically Western in composition but ?Eastern in brush stroke and colour. The end result is serenity.

Impressionism
General Idea: As I observed, impressionism artists has the idea to paint from daily life, rather than painting the nature and obvious landscapes. I picked to paint the landscape that would be more relate-able and I think that would be what Impressionists are doing if they are in modern days.
