On Monday Sept. 23, Student Government President, Jacqueline Sutherland, announced that weekly shuttles will now run from Benson Circle to the popular off-campus bar, The Last Resort on Thursday nights between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. The shuttles will begin running this Thursday, Sept. 26 and are expected to run

Shorty’s new menu has caused customers to walk out, sales to sink and employees to quit. For a restaurant where long wait times were the norm, Shorty’s thin crowds and empty tables is an atmosphere no one recognizes. “There used to be a wait all the time,” said Shorty’s waitress, Jasmine Harvey. “Now people sit down, look at the menu front and back trying to find where the rest of it is and then walk out.” Shorty’s, the only sit-down restaurant currently on campus, recently reconstructed its menu. According to John Wise, assistant vice president of hospitality services, the changes are to provide a better balance amongst the growing on campus dining options. This behind-the-scenes decision with Aramark aims to decrease the chance of replicat-
