A report submitted to the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) details shocking statistics regarding faculty salaries, which have been largely stagnant in recent years, failing to even keep up with the rate of inflation. The report, compiled by Hank Kennedy, professor of politics and international affairs, lays out salaries for Wake Forest’s professors,

Shop, came under the management of Follett Higher Education Group June 28, 2013. The university stores were originally owned and operated by the university. John Wise, assistant vice president of hospitality services, claimed the stores switched management due to the self-operated stores inability to keep pace with the delivery demands. “The university store industry is a rapidly changing industry and self operated stores have a harder time keeping pace with the

evolution of course material delivery,” Wise said. The university chose Follett to operate its university stores because the company offered the most financial benefits for the university. “As a leader in the college stores business, Follett brings a wealth of resources to our campus and they will help mitigate the university’s risk in attempting to compete in the increasingly digitized campus bookstore business,” Wise said. “Also, Follett was selected because their proposal offered the greatest financial improvement to the university, substantially better than our current self-operating model.” Follett will also operate the university’s online stores through wakeforest.bkstr.com as well as the physical locations. The new online store operation gives students the option to buy or rent their textbooks online through the nation’s largest online textbook and apparel shop through efollett.com. Representative from Follett Higher Education Group, Debbie Willis expresses the optimism and excitement that Follett has for being on Wake Forest campus. “Follett is very excited to join the Wake Forest campus community,” Willis said. “It
