Letter from the Top The PAF is back, and better than ever! Since 1970, the Pacific Athletic Foundation, and later the Pacific Tigers Athletics Association, has provided valuable scholarship support for Pacific student-athletes thanks to donations from hundreds of loyal and generous donors each and every year. Beginning in 2012-13, the newly relaunched Pacific Athletic Foundation has expanded its operation in order to increase its impact. Now, all donors to Pacific Athletics are valued members of the PAF - whether you give to the PAF Scholarship Fund, a Sport-Specific Fund, an Athletics Endowment Fund, and/or via Gifts-In-Kind. Depending on your giving level, you are eligible to receive exciting PAF membership benefits such as preferred parking, pre- game hospitalities, and access to the best seats in the house. The Pacific Athletic Foundation is dedicated to taking Pacific Athletics to the next level. It is our goal to provide the funds necessary for each of Pacific’s 16 intercollegiate athletics teams to be competitive every year for conference championships. Your thoughtful and generous support of the PAF is greatly appreciated. Your donations make all the difference!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY The PAF is currently looking for dedicated fans to participate in the PAF Fund Drive. Volunteers are needed to help ask for donations to support Pacific Athletics, which is integral to the success of the PAF’s primary mission of securing cash and gifts-in-kind. Volunteers will be rewarded for their hard work by getting up close and personal with Pacific coaches and given a variety of prizes based on support secured.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Why should I give to the Pacific Athletic Foundation? With the cost of tuition continuing to rise, every gift to the Pacific Athletic Foundation is important as we strive to build our programs, award aid to our student-athletes, and win championships. How will my gift to the Pacific Athletic Foundation be used? Gifts to the PAF are used to provide scholarship aid to our sixteen (16) Division I intercollegiate athletic teams. Gifts to the sportspecific funds provide for operations. How do I get good seats for Men’s Basketball games? PAF members earn the right to buy the best seats for Men’s Basketball based on their donor level. My major concern is not benefits, but where my season tickets are located. How can I be guaranteed my same season ticket seats? Simply renew your PAF Pledge by June 30 each year. I have never donated to the PAF, but I am very interested. What do I need to do to receive benefits for the 2012-13 giving year? Contact Chris Lynn from the PAF Office at clynn@pacific. edu or (209) 946-2387. Once you make a partial payment on your pledge you will start receiving the benefits for your respective gift level. Is my donation to the PAF tax deductible? For income tax purposes, contribution without benefits is fully deductible. Members are encouraged to consult with their tax advisor considering the specific deductibility of their contributions.
