The hamlet of Aspall located in the English village of Debenham has been home to the Chevallier family since 1702. Temple Chevallier bought Aspall Hall and its surrounding land, and then left the estate to his nephew Clement Chevallier in 1722, who started the Aspall Cyder business.
Aspall was established in 1728 by Clement Chevallier who planted the orchards at Aspall Hall in Suffolk. Aspall employees still work among the original orchards today and uphold Clement’s vision for making the highest quality cyder from the very best fruit providing the complexity of flavour and aroma found within Aspall’s cyders today.
“The unique nature of the apple, and its ability to produce countless variations of itself are at the heart of all Aspall cyders,” and the cidery’s orchard is now home to over 46 apple varietals with trees dating back to the early 20th century.
Aspall has an unrivaled history. They are founding members of the Organic Soil Society and are also one of the UK’s oldest businesses.

Kelterei Krämer, Reichelsheim (Odenwald), Hessen, Germany
Paying homage to old world methods, Bembel-With-Care® uses only fresh apples from the famed Odenwald orchards, plucking them ripe off trees in the lush meadows of the Forest of the Odes in Hessen, Bavaria and Baden-Wur#emberg in Germany. These sturdy apples have grown in the controlled climate of the Odenwald for centuries in near seclusion, with the sole purpose of one day rolling down the hills in barrels to be enjoyed as apfelwein in the surrounding towns and ci(es.
Bembel-With-Care® has produced cider in Germany since 2007 when they saw the (me-honored beverage was star(ng to gain trac(on with wine and beer drinkers alike, quickly filling the gap between redefining a classic beverage and preserving cultural heritage. In an effort to accelerate cider’s long-term renaissance, owner Benedikt Kuhn began adding carbona(on to their apfelwein, whereas Germans had tradi(onally produced flat, dull ciders.
