TIP OFF • Ole Miss returns home from a two-game road trip to host the Georgia Bulldogs Wednesday at The Pavilion. The Rebels and the Bulldogs have split the last 16 meetings between the two schools. • The Rebels won their ninth straight game against the Auburn Tigers Saturday, which is the most consecutive wins over an SEC opponent in school history. • Ole Miss made 16 of 17 from the line against UK (.941), which was the third-best percentage in a game in school history under 20 attempts, and are 76 of 89 from the charity strip (.854) over the last four games. Junior G Deandre Burnett leads the league in free throw shooting this season converting 110 of 121 (.909) attempts. • The Rebels rank second in the league pulling down 40.6 rpg. Ole Miss has outrebounded all but two opponents this year and are third in the SEC grabbing 13.1 offensive rpg. • Ole Miss tied a school record with 13 blocked shots in the win over Bradley and ranks 14th in the nation averag- ing 5.9 blocked shots a game. • With the win over Bradley, head coach Andy Kennedy moved past former UK coach Rick Pitino for 19th on the SEC career coaching victories list and now has 222 wins at Ole Miss. • Senior F Sebastian Saiz recorded his 19th career double-double with 15 points and 13 boards at Auburn and now has recorded a double-double in six straight games. He is the first Rebel to post a double-double in six straight games since Rahim Lockhart recorded seven straight in 1999. Saiz leads the SEC and ranks fourth nationally pull ing down 12.1 rebounds a game, and has 10 double-doubles this season, which leads the league and ranks sixth in the nation. Saiz is the only player in the SEC this season averaging a double-double and is the league’s active c areer rebounding leader. He moved into a tie with Lockhart for seventh in Ole Miss history with 780 rebounds and needs just 36 points to become the 38th member of the 1,000-point club in school history.
