TIP OFF • Ole Miss returns home Saturday to face the Florida Gators led by former Rebel point guard Mike White. • The Rebels are undefeated (2-0) at the brand-new Pavilion at Ole Miss and are looking to improve to 3-2 in the SEC with a win over the Gators. Ole Miss is 7-0 in home games this season. • Head coach Andy Kennedy picked up 200th career victory as the Ole Miss head man versus Louisiana Tech eariler this season. The all-time winningest coach in school history, Kennedy is 204-118 in 10 seasons in Oxford and 225-131 in 11 years as a head coach. He is the 20th coach in SEC history to win 200 games at one school and has the fifth-most wins by a coach in his first 10 years in the league at one school. • Senior G Stefan Moody leads the SEC, and ranks fourth nationally, in scoring at 24.4 ppg this year. He has scored 20-plus points in 11-straight games, which is the best streak in school history since Gerald Glass recorded 13-straight in 1989. Moody has broke the 30-point mark three times this season and has made a 3-pointer in 30-straight games, which is the fourth-longest streak in school history. He also ranks third in SEC history in free throw per centage (min. 300 attempts) at 88.29 percent just behind Kentucky’s Jodie Meeks (88.988 percent) and Kyle Macy (88.978 percent). • Junior F Sebastian Saiz posted back-to-back double-doubles last week against Alabama (21 points, 16 boards) and Georgia (14 points, 10 boards) and ranks second in the SEC, and 22nd nationally, pulling down 10.1 rpg. He is also tied for fourth in the league with six double-doubles this year. • Junior G Rasheed Brooks posted his first career double-double versus Georgia (14 points, 10 rebounds) last week and added 18 points and 6 boards at LSU. Brook Brooks averaging 14.0 ppg over his last three games.
