TIP OFF • Ole Miss hits the road Saturday riding a two-game winning streak to face the Georgia Bulldogs. The Rebels are looking for their first season sweep of the ‘Dawgs since 1989. • The Rebels are 6-2 in the SEC over their last eight conference games since starting league play 2-5. • Senior G Stefan Moody leads the SEC, and ranks eighth nationally, in scoring at 23.0 ppg this year. Moody has posted 20-plus points 19 times this, including a streak of 14-consecutive games, and has topped the 30-point mark three times. He also leads league in the scoring in SEC play at 23.4 ppg. • Junior F Sebastian Saiz recorded his seventh double-double of the season this 15 points and 14 boards in the Rebels’ win over Mizzou. Saiz also posted a double-double (14 points and 10 rebounds) in Ole Miss’ victory over Georgia earlier this season. • Senior F Tomasz Gielo, who was averaging 5.3 ppg and shooting 21.8% from the field over the seven games before the game at Mizzou (Feb. 3), knocked down 6 of 8 shots, including 4 of 6 from 3, and scored 16 points in the Rebels’ road win over the Tigers. Since that game he is averaging 15.0 ppg and shooting 50.0% (20 of 40) from 3 over his last seven games. • Head coach Andy Kennedy picked up 200th career victory as the Ole Miss head man versus Louisiana Tech earlier this season. The all-time winningest coach in school history, Kennedy is 210-124 in 10 seasons in Oxford and 231-137 in 11 years as a head coach. He is the 20th coach in SEC history to win 200 games at one school, and has the fourth-most wins by a coach in his first 10 years in the SEC at one school. • With 24 points against South Carolina, senior G Stefan Moody became the 37th player in school history to reach the 1,000-point mark in his career. Moody is the fifth-fast player in school history to reach 1,000 career points (52 games) and ranks eighth in Ole Miss history with a 19.4 ppg career scoring average.
