On behalf of Rosmini College I am delighted to welcome all of you here today to the Waitematā Golf Club for our annual Golf tournament.
The Golf tournament has been the major fundraiser for the College over the last seven years and total funds raised since 2017 exceeds $320,000.00. I want to thank everyone who has supported the event over the years – those who have entered a team, sponsored a tee, donated a prize for the auction, raffle and those who have made donations.
As always, the tournament promises to be an enjoyable day of Golf. We have a fabulous range of prizes and auction items for the auction which will take place later this evening.
In addition to the prizes on offer for various categories the winning team will also receive the Rosmini College Golf Cup.
Funds raised today will go towards further sporting facilities for our boys including basketball hoops, football goals and remediation work on the cricket outfield.
Finally, I would like to thank our hosts the Waitematā Golf Club for providing this wonderful venue. I wish you all good luck and look forward to meeting you afterwards in the clubroom over dinner and a drink.

Auctioneer Paul Glover
Paul Glover’s face is so familiar that you think you went to school with him.
With over 30 years in the entertainment industry it’s more likely you’ve seen him on a stage somewhere, on a big screen, tv screen, or now on a little screen as he embraces his Real Estate career for Ray White Carpenter Reality.
If you’re a fan of the international TV series Location Location Location or Love It or List It you’ll also spot him as the co-host for the exciting New Zealand versions on screen in 2024 for ‘AA Insurance LLL’ and Love It or List It in 2025… These roles perfectly blend Paul’s love of selling real estate, his career in television and more importantly love of people.
Auctioneering is another string to Paul’s bow. Winner of the Apollo Rising Star Auctioneer Awards in 2022 his favourite type of auction to host is one for charities and fundraisers like this!
With a reputation for breaking fund raising records at fundraising events he is very proud and honoured to support Rosmini with his services.
And here’s the shameless plug bit – if you ever need help navigating your next real estate adventure, need an auctioneer or MC for your event (or remember that you did go to school with him) then you’d ‘Better Call Paul’ 021 647 650 – paul.glover@raywhite.com
