I’m Olivia, a creative who enjoys taking an idea and giving it a visual life. I have had two years of experience in advert and publication design, working for a publication company. This has also involved branding, along with constant updating of both a WordPress website, Campaign Monitor and social media pages. As a designer, my approach is to firstly focus on the client’s idea and call to action. This is followed by research and planning, to then execute a simple yet effective solution. I believe design is about problem solving, and I get a lot of satisfaction in seeing an idea come to life!

This work involved creating the brand identity for a publication company: DP Media The logo had already been designed, my task was to create the brand’s visual style. This included the colour scheme, typefaces and instructions for any other designer who would be creating work for the brand in the future.

Sprout Magazine was created by myself for a university project. I came up with the concept and name - a food magazine with the first issue being a ‘Vegan Starter Kit’. I created the masthead and an icon, as well as a number of infographics. The front cover image was also taken and edited by myself.
