LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR'S LETTER Hello everybody! As the school year is closing out, I hope my first newsletter finds you well. (please let me know if you would like for me to add anything :3) As club officer elections were just recently held, please remember to train your new board, so we are ready for summer! Speaking of summer, it is never too early to start planning. Consider hosting socials to keep your members involved, as well as planning service projects and events for our upcoming months. Later in this newsletter, you'll find ideas for service and socials, as well as a summer check list, officer duties and much more. Please feel free to message or email me at anytime, for it is my responsibility to help your clubs and officers in anyway possible!

June 15 zoom, link in Groupme 6:30pm It is important to attend DCMs, for they are one of the best forms of communications we have. All presidents, officers, and members are encouraged to attend!

DEADLINES :0 Schoolhouse: We are currently in competition with the other districts, and are in 2nd place. We can beat the others by hosting Live Help sessions when you register. The winning district's members will win An exclusive, district-wide event with Sal Khan, the founder of Khan Academy and Schoolhouse. A free Schoolhouse t-shirt for every active tutor in that district. A certificate signed by Sal and Key Club leadership. Erika's Light House What is Erika's Light House: Erika’s Lighthouse provides educators, students, and parents with the tools to talk about mental health and encourages students to reach out if they are struggling. They offer a range of resources from presentations, conversation starters, and simple worksheets for you to share with your club. You can also give mental health presentations to local elementary schools or middle schools to serve younger students while promoting positive mental health practices. Since the 1940s, Key Clubs have worked with March of Dimes to make a positive impact in the lives of babies everywhere.
