THE WORK TO SWIM BAG AIDS THE TRANSITION FROM OFFICE TO POOL. THE THREE-BAGS-IN ONE DESIGN MEANS THAT THE USER CAN ALTER THE BAG DEPENDENT ON THEIR DAYS ACTIVITIES. THE DESIGN BLENDS INTO THE OFFICE ENVIRONMENT MAKING IT A VERSATILE AND DISCRETE TAKE ON A SWIMMING BAG.

THE ECO-POD PROVIDES AN OUTDOOR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR SCHOOLS, ENCOURAGING LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT. THE PLASTIC BOTTLES OR MILK BOTTLES ARE COLLECTED BY THE CHILDREN AND UPCYCLED INTO PLANTERS. THESE ARE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, CREATING A LIVING WALL.

SKETCHING PROCESS BEGAN LOOKING AT INITAL FORMS FROM THE SCULPTURAL WORK OF BARBARA HEPWORTH INFLUENCED THE DESIGN AND THE ORGANIC FORMS USED DURING SKETCHING. THE DESIGN COMBINES GEOMETRIC SHAPES WITH NATURAL ORGANIC FORMS. SKETCHING A QUICK RECORDING OF IDEAS IS VITAL. A STRENGTH IS FOUND IN THE VISUALISATION, TRANSLATION AND COMMUNICATION OF DESIGNS AND IDEAS.
