CONTEXTUAL RENDER
AT HOME
Menopausal women regaining control of their hot flushes in the workplace 75 - 80% of menopausal women are currently employed. It’s more difficult in the workplace to control your physical environment to cool yourself down quickly when having a hot flush. Some women also feel showing signs of menopause can hinder their job prospects and so they need a subtle, adaptable method to cool themselves down effectively. No two women are the same, and so the adaptability of the product is essential.

Thermoelectric Alloys - Peltier effect explained 01. Heat absorbed - cold side against the wrist 02. Ceramic electrical insulator plate 03. Electrical insulator 04. Heat rejected - hot side
TECH EXPLAINED
Thermoelectric coolers operate according to the Peltier effect. The effect creates a temperature difference by transferring heat between two electrical junctions. A voltage is applied across joined conductors to create an electric current. When the current flows through the junctions of the two conductors, heat is removed at one junction and cooling occurs. Heat is deposited at the other junction.
