Masterplan The project was baptized (Re)Descobrindo o Tejo - Rediscovering Tejo, due to its location, because the intervetion area is on the riverbank of the Tejo River, in Lisbon, with an extension of approximately 6.5km, from Cais do Sodré to Belém. The zone is particularly vulnerable as regards sea level rise, according to studies and the Municipal Climate Change Adaptation Strategy - EMAAC. It is also important to notice that the City of Lisbon had a strong relationship with Tejo River from the time of the discoverys until the implementation of seaport, but that got lost with time, waht constribute to the name choice. It was only in the 90’s that projects of rehabilitation of the riverfront began. Diagnosis

physical barrier ity versus riverfront
Vulnerability seaport zone
Regarding the strategic axes of the proposal, the answer found was a common denominator between regenerate the riverfront and adptation/mitigation of climate change effects was design a green and gray infrastucture. This was translated into our proposal in form of a linear park applied to the role extension of intervention area. Within the studied area, seaport zone was chosen by the team to expand detail level. This happened in the first place because the seaport zone is most susceptible to flooding, influenced by the Alcântara Valley. Secondly because it is a point of segregation on the riverfront continuum and a barrier between the city and the river. Consequence of the road structure and the structure of the seaport itself.

Masterplan The Tijuca neighborhood located in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro City has a pulsating centrality focused on Saens Pena Square that does not expand equally to its immediate surroundings. The Avenue Gabriela Prado Maia Ribeiro, parallel to the square, although extremely close has no dinamics that can attracts pedestrians. In the same way Avenue Heitor Beltrão, located between Square Saens Pena e Square São Francisco Xavier, is empetied of the flow of residents who seem to prefer to take a subway or a bus than to walk along it. When analysing the place, in addition to issues such as the feeling of insecurity caused by the excess of walls and abandoned lands, it was noticed that much of the disconfort caused to pedestrians was related to Trapicheiros River, present in both avenues. Despite the historic valeu for the neigborhood, today the rover is extremely polluted, givind of a bad smell, with an unpleasant aspect and causing flooding in times of heavy rain.

Renaturalization
It is proposed in addition to the redesign of the Trapicheiros River layout, a process of renaturalization, with removal of concrete channel and return of riparian at its edge, removal of layout at the bottom of the lot, in addition to sustainable dreinage measures that seek to improve the issue of oods in the study section.

The landscape project of the library is designed as an extensionof the volume, bringing the architecture outward. The main idea of it was to promote green spaces for the free appropriation of the user. The shape of these spaces is intentional to visually enhance main ows and the 3 entrances of the building. Finally, colorful brises were chosen because of young public, promoting a ludic character to the library.

Concept
The urban intervention proposal is based on the intention to revitalize the square, with the architectural proposal being create a student accomodation that support IFCS. The concept id based on a appreciation of free living space in the building as well as in the square, somehow relating each other. In this way, the yellow ribbon, whose origin is the pre-existing sculpture in the square, is an element of connection used both in landscape and archictetural project. Enhancing the visual permeability between the free living spaces.
