Relay for Life Did you know that 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime? This is why PHS Key Club gets involved with the annual relay through Relay for Life! A group of our outstanding members volunteered a Saturday night to help the American Cancer Society fund research, patient-care programs, and education/prevention information
Thank you to all that participated and helped light the lanterns at the Morristown Armory for this event! Your efforts and care mean a lot to those who have been affected by cancer.
School Clean-Up
 In this year's effort to help smaller clubs reach out to larger groups of students, Sophomore Class Project Directors Olivia Johnson and Sahaj Patel decided to collaborate with the Environmental Club for their annual school clean-up on May 10th. Members of both clubs collected about six trash bags full of litter across PHS's campus. Thank you to those who participated in making our school cleaner and prettier!Â
SKIP Visit On May 11th, a group of enthusiastic Key Clubbers spent their Friday afternoon at Rockaway Meadow Elementary School's SKIP program. There, they worked with children in grades K-5 to create arts and crafts projects for Mother's Day. They also orchestrated activities and games such as Simon Says and Hot Potato. Thank you to those who made this visit smooth and organized; you guys did great! Keep an eye-out for the rest of the 18'-19' service year since we plan on making these visits to SKIP more frequent! This is a great way to give back to the children of our community!
Member of the Month
This month's Member of the Month is Yukta Nyati! She is beyond dedicated to the club's efforts and goals. She frequently attends daycare visits, and volunteers at special events such as our school cleanup and the visit to RMS. Keep up the great work, Yukta!
