MAINTENANCE SHEET FOR SURFACES COVERED IN ECOMALTA® / OLEOMALTA® ®

The OLTREMATERIA system is obtained through layering of single-component ECOMALTA /OLEOMALTA consisting of: water-based co-polymers, sunflower oil and natural and recycled aggregates (certified) and protected with water-based paints or film-based protections.

Each type of surface is not eternal. That's why the OLTREMATERIA system provides post-execution services compared to the coating designed to best preserve over time your surface. Of course, the timing and techniques of this maintenance operation are always preventively and scrupulously presented to customers.

Just look back, at the time when cleaning was a rite and no hazardous detergents existed to distinguish between what is really necessary and superfluous. ® For a real GREEN clean, OLTREMATERIA suggests hot water (better if distilled because it does not have limestone) and VINEGAR at 20-30-40% depending on the need for not having strong smells better use apple vinegar or Marseille soap. ®

For ordinary maintenance, you can use the OLTREMATERIA maintenance kit inside of which you will find: disposable gloves, microfiber cloth, universal neutral detergent ecowasher that does not require rinsing and does not leave streaks, and revitalising ecoreviver for OLTREMATERIA® surfaces Alternatively, use our ECODAY, carefully follow the directions for use on the packaging, the above products can be used pure or with water depending on the type of dirt to be removed, with microfiber or wash-flooring machines.

In the absence of our products we recommend to use NEUTRAL non-aggressive alkaline detergents or better if they are based on ammonium quaternary salts. For disinfection there are commercially available non-aggressive disinfectant detergents and anyway also the most common ones are good if diluted with water.

It is strongly recommended not to use detergents with concentrated solvents and acids.

The surfaces should not be treated in any way with: Alcohol, Acetone, Solvents or similars.

ONLY specialised personnel can be used for extraordinary maintenance and repairs.

CONTINUOUS SURFACES OLTREMATERIA® technical characteristics

The system consists of single-component water polymers, sunflower oil and natural and recycled aggregates (certified) such as quartz, marble and glass.

ECOMALTA®/OLEOMALTA® are characterised by the following features: - Great breathability - Fully free from hydraulic binders (lime, plaster, cement) - Fully free from epoxy resins - There is no indication of risk to humans and the environment - Does not cause any sensitisation by skin contact - Not toxic - Great flexibility - Resistant to UVA rays - Excellent Shore Hardness of 80 85 (applied load) - Significant Buchholz hardness grade 42 (at scratch) - All of our products, even if not necessary because not dangerous, are encoded at I.S.S. - The Oltremateria system for flooring has been subjected to I.T.T (Initial Test Time) and complies with UNI EN 13813 (combined in terms of definition to UNI EN 13318 2.13 : Flooring, uppermost layer of a floor used as a wear and finishing surface).

For wall coverings, Oltremateria takes reference to UNI EN 15824 standard. ® ® -The Japan Building Coating Materials Association has certified that Ecomalta /Oleomalta Oltremateria has no harmful VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) or Formaldehyde emissions, so they got the rating F **** (Four star), which is the maximum expected.

-It does not develop toxic gases for the environment and subsoil and complies with the new Uni-En 13813:2004 regulations - Formulated in full compliance with the regulations on work safety.

- Excellent resistance to dirt and staining agents when protected with ecobic - Complies with UNI 11021:2002 of 01/12/2002 "paints and varnishes - coating material and coatings systems for rooms with the presence of foodstuff - requirements and test method", HACCP Legislative Decree no. 155 of 13/06/1997 (certificate for contact with food) - not inflammable according to the new UNI-EN-ISO 1716Bfl-s1 standard -The Oltremateria surfaces have been certified ionisation of air by the NCT (New Chemical Tecnology) with a value of 2000e/cm2 and antibacterial certification by "CSA Accredia Accredited Research Institute No. 0181".
