The Guides of Gifting
Always with Aloha
It feels good to give. Driven by the spirit of aloha, we do our best to perpetuate that belief—especially around the holidays. To share this, we’ve created a guide featuring thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Curated by our family of artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and professional surfers, each pair is designed to bring comfort, spread joy, and celebrate the beauty of the Islands. There’s no better way to say mahalo (thank you) to the people you love most. Happy holidays from our ‘ohana (family) to yours.
Together, We Go.
Honolulu, O‘ahu
Brimming with aloha, Honolulu’s Zeke Lau has a deep passion for the people, places, and waves that shaped his life. As a pro surfer, he’s spent countless hours chasing peaks and heat-wins worldwide. “For my entire life, the ocean has felt like it was a part of my identity. It’s a part of who I am. It’s connected me to my family, my community, my history,” says Zeke. “I wouldn’t be me without it.” With decades of time spent in the water, there’s no one better to curate our beach-ready lineup.

Take Flight for the Season
For the friend or family member who’s collected more passport stamps than there are pages to hold them, we’ve turned to one of our favorite jet-setters, Zak Barry. Cofounder of Banán, a beloved cafe specializing in frozen-fruit treats, Zak guides us through his favorite travel-ready footwear.

“For me, home is a reflection of who I am. It’s comfortable, simple, and connected to the land. Everything I’ve built here has a purpose.”
Noa Ginella
North Shore, O‘ahu
From his home on the North Shore, Noa Ginella has built a self-sustaining ecosystem, working with the land and ocean to meet his daily needs. Overlooking the vast blues of the Pacific, he raises chickens, grows fresh vegetables, and cultivates fruit orchards, all while finding time for his art. Over the years, Noa has taken up gyotaku, an ancient Japanese fishing tradition where the day’s catch is commemorated by painting the fish before pressing it on specialized paper.
A Year in Review
When you’re surrounded by people who embody the spirit of aloha, everything around you has a way of coming together. In 2024, our journeys took us from the Garden Island of Kaua‘i to the deltas of Louisiana and beyond, where we connected with the people, places, and stories of aloha that shape our shared perspective. We’ve charted new courses across open oceans and chartered planes into new horizons, all fueled by a collective belief that the more we share our passions, histories, and love for adventure, the closer we become.
Here’s to 2024—a year of new discoveries, deeper connections, and living fully in our element.
“Home is meant to be a place where you can unwind, be inspired, and connect with family; it should reflect your style and taste, but it should always feel comfortable.”
A fixture in Honolulu’s creative community, Jenna Lau has built a reputation for her refined aesthetic and inspired approach to Island life. A talented surfer in her own right, Jenna met her husband, Zeke, surfing Honolulu’s famous reefs. Fast-forward a decade, a marriage, and a baby girl later, and they’ve become one of Hawai‘i’s most dynamic couples. Passionate about interiors and home decor, Jenna is renowned for her keen sense of style and ability to curate thoughtful spaces, making her a natural choice to lead our home gift guide.
