Not really but is still part of it. Music is the only thing that distracts me. Everybody in my house sings but when I sing they always say it music is what I will do. Even, when I was small, everybody always want to hear me sing. I will say music is just an in-born for me. My family, especially my dad, really support my music career. Music was the only excuse I can give to do any naughty thing in the house. Music was the only thing that always give me freedom to go anywhere I wanna go when I was small, so far I tell my dad am going for music rehearsal, he will give me go ahead to go anywhere but he never allowed me to do dance.
My growing up is not really an exciting. I started singing from the age of 5 years old. Let me just say I was born into music family. Everybody in my house is doing music. 1. SALADO : This café is undoubtedly the most patronized café in school (at the moment) even by lecturers and outsiders. Located at the SUB of the school, close to the Amphitheater and the sport center. Salado has one of the best eating environments even though some jobless people just go there to chill without buying anything and some people also complain that the food is sometimes salty. 2. MAVIS : This café is located at the Red Bricks of Science behind JaJa Hostel close to GT Bank. Always patronized by Science students, Moremi girls, Law students, Engineering students and also bankers of the banks in this area of the school. Mavis can also be conducive until the crowd gets too much and the place becomes too hot. 3. IYA MORIA: Would have been number one, if not for the poor attitude of the vendors (they act like if you don’t buy food there you can’t buy elsewhere), the food is super good though. Iya Moria located at the DLI area of the school would have passed for number one but for the total packaging Salado has and the poor customer care of Iya Moria’s food vendors. 4. OLAIYA: This is without argument the café you will get the best “okele” (swallow) in school. Ranging from Amala to Fufu, Olaiya has it all. With 2 branches in school, a very good customer service, a good eating environment, a very tight total package, Olaiya is where you need to visit (if you haven’t). With locations at the FSS complex and at the complex at education bounding Amina hostel by the right, though people complain that the oil in the stew is sometimes too much. 5. AGOYIN PALACE : When it comes to bread and beans in University of Lagos, the only right place that comes to mind is Agoyin Palace. Though the food is usually too small, it is always sweet with the same taste every time. Located at the JAJA complex near the Unilag staff school, the only problem they have is expansion (the place is way too small and it’s always hot). (Had to just put this in) EXTRA : *CITS (AUNTY SEUN): When you think of eating noodles out in Unilag, Aunty Seun’s Indomie is the right choice for you. With different “eroja” (spice), a conducive eating atmosphere, quick delivery (as they have to cook the noodles after your order), always chilled drinks and good customer relation. Though the café heats up as soon as Unilag Nepa do what they know how to do best. NOTE: this is my own opinion; some Unilag girls may have other opinions as they patronize these café more than guys because they don’t cook. (No be me write this

gist around the world On April 15, there was a strange outbreak of a yet-to-be-named disease in Irele, Ondo State. It is has so far killed seventeen people and has spread fear and terror in Ondo State. Officials of WHO and other health agencies have sped to the town to ascertain if it were contagious. eport shows the strange, unnamed illness is not contagious, and it is neither viral nor bacterial. Its symptoms are unlike the ebola or other diseases; it causes blurred vision, headache and loss of consciousness and kills very quickly in what seems like an epidemic. But there have been no new cases the last 48 hours as reported by WHO and the NCDC (Nigeria Center for Disease Control). Meanwhile, blood, urine and other bodily fluids of affected persons have been taken to the laboratory for tests which have so far revealed nothing. A local chief in Ondo State has explained the “mystery” behind a strange and unknown killer disease that has ravaged a town in the state, killing at least 14 people. However, the community leader, Moses Enimade, the Oyewoga of Ode Irele in Ondo State, said the disease came as punishment for “sacrilege” committed against Molokun, the local deity in the area. Mr. Enimade, next in command to the Oba, Cornelius Olanrewaju-Lebi, stated this in Irele on Saturday. Mr. Enimade debunked the rumour that the deaths were caused by strange disease or Ebola virus. There has been no explanation for the disease. Victims have tested negative to Ebola, the deadly and incurable virus that killed thousands across West Africa, including Nigeria.

ome of us could still remember when those secondary and tertiary institutions donated money to fight apartheid in South Africa. It spread a lot of conscious black feeling and Negritude movement that Nigeria led since FESTAC 1977 and several diplomatic rows with apartheid South Africa to protest the injustice being meted out to our fellow African brothers. Nigeria spent billions of dollars to fight apartheid and support the freedom movement. Nigeria was not the only champion of this cause, several Africans were involved, clamoring for the entire freedom of blacks from minority white supremacy in the region. But South Africans seemed to have suddenly suffered a wave of memory loss as their fellow Africans
Mr. Enimade said some stubborn youth broke into the inner room of the Molokun shrine on April 15. “Molokun is a deity of the land,” he said. “Only the Chief Priest and High Chief Gboguron are qualified to enter the shrine.” The chief said the youth entered the shrine and made away with traditional items in a bid to acquire extra-ordinary powers and engage in money ritual. The Oyewoga said he could not remember the last time Molokun or any other gods had to strike like this in the area. According to him, there is no community or town without its own culture and tradition. He said what happened in Irele was the judgment of the gods on the youth. “Even the Kabiesi himself is not permitted to enter the Molokun Shrine’s inner room except the Chief Priest and High Chief Gboguron. Sacrifice must be performed before they can enter. “Because these youths want to be rich at all costs, they entered the sacred place and made away with traditional items and 20 of them have died as a result of their desperate acts,” he said. “We have to appease the gods or else many will still die and we have to bury them according to tradition. Their corpses belong to the gods and will be exhumed if buried by their families.”

Now, if our giant population has rather been a blessing than a curse; if the same thing India and China keyed into, then what in Pete’s name is wrong with the SA dumb heads? Have they been so warped in their radical pro-blackism mentality that they have wrapped what is left of objectivity in a wrap of delusion of grandeur? Well, they should better learn one thing Nigeria has always prided itself in, WE ARE A VERY ACCOMMODATING PEOPLE, especially in the Southwest, and this is what makes Lagos the giant economy capital. forgotten started calling me and coming back to me. But the issue is that I cannot be giving the same attention to all of them at the same time and this is what they failed to understand. The ones that are still with me are the ones that understand me and those who failed to understand me, feels am forming or been proud. Are you in any relationship at all? Before I was in a relationship but I broke up from the relationship a week before Nigeria Idol and ever since I have been very single and not searching. So if anybody walk up to you and ask for your hand in marriage, are you ready? Right now, it will be little hard for me to get into any relationship now because is hard to get someone who can understand my career. Some guys don’t just understand the reason why you have so many friends especially when you have much male friends around you. Is just very hard see someone to understand me Why is it that most of our female celebrities are always single? Because, hmmmmmm, I don’t wanna say this but I will say it; female musician most times get favour from people especially from the male and your boy friend will not want to believe that guy did what he did for you free of charge without asking anything from you as return so why not stay single than to have a boy friend that will dig my grave for me before I die. How do you see the Nigeria Music right now?

What I realized is that people are beginning to appreciate content more than just wanting to dance. Although they want to dance and also want to get back home and listen to something that will make them think deep. I realized that in Nigeria we don’t really have a song we can listen to when you want to be creative, think and we you want have a nice time with your spouse but I realized we are losing a lot right now. What is your genre of song? I am more of soul singer but I do all genres of songs. Like I said earlier, I do patua. Whatever song I do, I always want to have a feel of soul to it and because I always try to bring myself into the lyrics before bring them out so it becomes soul and I get my inspiration mostly from my family and most time my inspiration comes from my life experience…Laugh.
