XI’AN Down Town Market 01 Preserving the structural module and getting inspired from the rigidity of the existing structure, using its order as a base design approach. Exposiing the structure and conceptualy serve it’s 4 sides into three dimensional directions to better define the required spaces for the market project respecting the heritage and the value of the ancient cultivated XI’AN, was the main goal to preserve and conserve more one of the oldest markets in XI’AN, CHINA

Lipari Preservation Project
Aquacalda is one of the most preserved locations in lipari Island, the aim of the project was how to insert a touristic project into one of the conserved sites that located directly on the beach side. A project where they would be able to enjoy the historical imact of the site with the magnificant view of the sea. The project contains Exhibition, Restaurand a Spa. A hotel zone would be part of the project to fully enjoy your stay at one of the ancient locations in lipari
02
We were asked to develop the already existed foot print as mentioned in the drawings within an extension that leads to the beach. Connecting the project with the beach side was the challenging part, using the same material respecting the context was the main goal that we smoothly Exit the actual project and being directly guided to the beach side extension through a pedestrian that is continuously extended from inside the building to the outside till you reach the beach side.
Somalia Agricultural community project 03 Multidisciplinary Project mainly with Agricultural purposes, that could lead Doolow, Somalia to a better life conditin where they could regrow and reproduce their own products that they used to import it for so many years. A project where they would be able to grow their own food, containing research labs, educational methods for sensitive plant seeds and tissue culture. A housing zone would be part of the project as the need to be fully present experiencing the growth of the plants through an Architectural unit that grows all around creating and changing the dynamic of the urban fabric.
Context inspired Grid
Defining Units in different dimensions following the grid
Sustainable green volumes inserted inside the unit
Architectural Element extrusion, that connects the Architectural units together for a better circulation exteriorly and interiorly
What is global warming? Global warming is the current increase in temperature of the Earth’s surface (both land and water) as well as it’s atmosphere. Average temperatures around the world have risen by 0.75°C over the last 100 years about two thirds of this increase has occurred since 1975. In the past, when the Earth experienced increases in temperature it was the result of natural causes but today it is being caused by the accumulation of greenhous gases in the atmosphere produced by human activities. The natural greenhouse effect maintains the Earth’s temperature at a safe level making it possible for humans and many other lifeforms to exist. However, since the Industrial Revolution human activities have significantly enhanced the greenhouse effect causing the Earth’s average temperature to rise by almost 1°C. This is creating the global warming we see today. To put this increase in perspective it is important to understand that during the last ice age, a period of massive climate change, the average temperature change around the globe was only about 5°C.
Basic Factors that were affected by the Global Warming Vulnerable areas. Biodiversity. Agriculture. Water. Cities and the built environment. Health.
Agriculture The impact of climate change in agriculture is likely to be on staple crops such as maize and on the forestry industry. One of the main concerns is a projected increase in the need for irrigation since most parts of the country are likely to become drier. Models also suggest that key cereal crops such as maize in the winter rainfall region and wheat in the summer rainfall region will be negatively affected by climate change. Another concern is that certain pest and pathogen species will benefit from the changing climate and become more of a problem for agriculture. more of a problem for agriculture. Project area located at one of the oldest refugees camps that been held by UNESCO organization. The inspiration of the project idea came from how that refugee camp was settled with a very rigid organised indea in a very dynamic and organic site, so creating and defining a unit that works flexibly with both the rigidity of the camp and the natural organic greenfields around. Defining a rigid unit respecting the architectural standards and user need and make it grow somehow through and between the organic fields we have around in our context.
Creating architectural connection that connect all the unites together for a better courtyards definition
Structure base connection
Unit defined in a various dimensions according the grid with it’s division, that been followed in order to create this community project
Flooring connection
Unit layering
Cross wall structural connection
Metal beam connection
Curtain wall connection
Base beam Section
Detail sections clarifying the idea of the unit inner courts, which will be used as inner botanical courts for experiments.
Somalia Agricultural community project 3D Visual continuity was one of the main goals to be reached in this project where you would be able to experience the growth of the plants even from the interior. Transparency through opening the project to the outside with creating a panoramic sides of the unit what keeps you connected to what happening outside. as an Agricultural peroject was really important to experience the funcion of the project wherever spot you are located in to keep you connected with the project. The aim of keeping the user connected with the whole project was inspired from the plant tissues and how they are connected from macro to micro scale.

Light Installation “concept”
Due to the importance of Chiara boni new store location in florence, a light installation was asked to be designed respecting the preservation and conservation rules of this historical site. Imagining a bouncing ball that jumps from spot to spot in that place without touching ay of it’s walls was the inspiration. The magic ball movement creates the path of the installation itself supported with a fluorescent light that enlighten the whole space

Self Inspired Designs
The main idea of this project is how we could direct our design skills into more opened angle where nowadays in the industry there is more separation and more closed defined spaces. but with this project I was trying to deliver the message that we can even merge 2 different functional spaces together where we could see the library merged with the kitchen within the respect of each space function and it’s required dimension

Self Inspired Designs
As interior designers we believe Imagination has no boundaries, has no limitations, but it would be more visible if we could translate this imagination through a good quality render output. Rendering skills is one of the most important methods in order to deliver the final project design to the clients. It gives the ability to better understand how the actual space works and how it would look like through mood boards, detailed modeling, material selection, color schemes and final post production renders.
I would like to state that all the previous images were modeled, rendered using 3DS Studio Max, V.Ray
