Different Ideologies in Egypt Comparison between Different Ideologies
Socialism Socialism is an ideology which is ownership of the means of production by the government or by the elite. Since private owners of the means of production (capitalists) mistreat the workers, the solution to end the mistreatment was to take ownership from the capitalists and put it in the hands of the government. From this ideology’s point of view, doing this allow the society and the country to live in social equality and to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor. Unlike the capitalist that put all the power and control in the hand of a few people or the elite who have all the money and power.
Liberalism Liberalism is the belief in the importance of liberty and equal rights. Liberals support a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but generally liberals support ideas such as constitutionalism, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, capitalism, and freedom of religion.
Conservatism
Conservatism is a political and social philosophy that promotes the maintenance of traditional institutions and supports, at the most, minimal and gradual change in society. Some conservatives seek to preserve things as they are, emphasizing stability and continuity, while others oppose modernism and seek a return to the way things were. It must be understood that Overview on Liberalism conservatism is not opposed to all change, but it is usually a gradual and slow Liberalism is one of the great political evolution. Choosing an Ideology When I was first introduced to topic of this project. I was convinced that I will be choosing liberalism as the ideology for the camp. However after doing research about the three main ideologies, I found out that each one has it benefits and merits. Therefore, I wanted to involve the three ideologies in my camp because the three ideologies all mix together to form the ideology of Egypt and the Egyptians. The idea of my project will be a training centre that works as an orientation centre for the youth to inform then how the parliament works and what are the characteristics of a parliament member.
Main Design Theme Project Description introduction After the 25th Jan Revolution, Egypt’s political and social orientation will change. There are three main orientations that can lead the change in Egypt in the next Phase. Now, we have the elected parliament who got elected by all the Egyptians. Unfortunately, most of the elected members have experienced or got trained for acting as a parliament member. Instead, they tend to make a scene they also have a tendency for chaos. Another problem is that no one wants to listen or accept the other. Therefore, I though about the idea of establishing a camp that trains the youth who are ranging from 16 to 24 who to a parliament member should act. The concept of the design The concept that I will be trying to approach in this project is unity through diversity. Because in Egypt there are different ideologies that must interact and cooperate together to help reforming the future of egypt. And I found that making a model of the Egyptian Parliament to help the youth from different backgrounds to interact together and reach for objective solution to the current political problems.

Profile Of The user Groups activists There will be a residential building that will accommodate political activists from different backgrounds. These activists will stay in the building to prepare and discuss different topics to introduced to the youth who will come to this camp. These activist will live together for 3 weeks, so that they will trained how would they accept different opinions and thoughts.
The Youth College youth will be attending daily sessions prepared by the activists. Through these sessions the youth will get to know how a parliament member should be like. During these camp, the youth from different political points of views will interact in discussions and activities that will allow the youth to be able to accept the other opinions
The Staff There will be a group of worker who will manage the residential building and they will be also responsible for the preparing meals for the entire camp
The result of this camp By the end of each week there will be a formal session in a place that looks like the the egyptian parliament where the youth will be representing different members in the parliament. And they will be discussing real topics. By the end of the camp each young man or woman will experience who it is like to be in the parliament and on the other hand the political activists also will live together for 3 week and they will develop a sense of accepting the other.

Analysis Of International Example Student Hostels, 2007 / DCOOP The hostels are part of the large campus of the newly established Y V University, located in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, India. The project is located in a context characterized by state patronage with limited construction technologies and a spartan budget. The design approach consciously engages with the architectural legacy of Indian Modern Masters – a successful negotiation of tropical climates, creative use of limited resources and a concern with the production of social spaces. Yet it departs from this paradigm significantly in its playful manipulation of form and structure.

Site Analysis Reason For Choosing The Site The site that I have chosen for this project is in New Cairo. The reason behind that new cairo is one of the newest districts in Cairo and It has the many modern and competitive buildings in it. Since the main program of the camp is a new Parliament, there is no place better for this project than New Cairo. Another reason is that this location is next to many educational facilities like AUC, GUC, CIC.
