INTENT:
The intent of the proposal of meditative art centre was because of the current problem of footfall ,i.e. due to to lack of sensitisation of art and craft plus thedecorating mental health of citizens in urban area .Thus ideative response was a bigger architectural programme which Wcaters to a larger number of people .Meditative art is a practice which uses different types of arts and crafts as means of meditation and to reflect on there inner selves .The main focus is on the state of mind of the artist rather than the final art piece the artist is creating .

INTENT:
my intervention is located on the NH16 on the eastern edge . the message i wanted to send was of announcing the identity of mangalgiri for which it stands for and to showcase an evolved new identity keeping in my mind the past . in order to achieve that i evolved a form that catches attention fast and at the same time has depth in it so that it retains in the mind .for engaging and creating curiosity i worked with the scale of openings some big and some small .To maintain the past and present identity i articulated spaces in a manner that they form common spaces which have a use it as well as stops the person and engage with the surroundings .

4.MIXED USE :THE URBAN WALK
SITE:WTC,sector-29,Gurugram,New Delhi
INTENT:
the intent of the intervention was to explore place making and social value of mixed use development in Gurugram .This was done through the lense of walkibility catering to the diverse demographic groups of sector 29 and there different needs.. Enhancing connection with the nearby transit hubs. Will help in promotions of outdoor activities ascreating a connection with the park atmasterplan level and of NMT(non-motorised transit) inside and outside the site. Will result in diversifying and densifying the site as it will help in retaining the old user group.(i.e.of friday prayer goers, people who use the site as a playground.). This approach was also undertaken to provide something back to the city, where there are no boundaries and restrictions on the different demographic groups

CONCEPTUALISATION AND ZONING
REASONS FOR THE 3 CRITICAL ENTRY POINTS
• A: Its the most busiest intersection point because all the traffic movement from both the sides of the site converges at this point. coincidentally it has become a self- generated drop -off point as its located at the junction where the entrance of the Westin hotel and RITES building is located. • B:Since this point is connected with the NH8(through an unpaved path which is used by the pedestrians) and its also a self generated bus/shuttle stop. • C:This point has a auto-stand and most of the hawkers and street vendors gather there. Also during the lunch time the people working in RITES ,Power-grid and IFFCO towers gather at this point so as to get Lunch at a cheap rate.Thus densifying that point

DISSERTATION:SHARED SPACES AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED IN THE INDIAN CONTEXT ABSTRACT:
According to WHO there are estimated of 1.3 billion people who are globally living with some sort ofvisual impairment .The root cause of visual impairment globally is uncorrected refractive errors and cataracts .Mostly people affected by it out of the age 50 and above .Visual impairment or vision loss is a decreased ability to see that causes problems which are not fixable by usual means. It isimportant to address this issue as its unfair that the architecture we build is only for certain group ofpeople and not for all due to the biased preconceived notion that architecture can experienced through visual sense only. Thus, leading to Ocular centrism. Visually impaired are not aware of of new environments and take time to get aware it naturally creates confusion, fear and chaos in their minds which leads to increased reaction time of the body and leading to fatal accidents and in somecases loss of life.

The visually impaired are not being treated equally by fellow citizens as they are rather treated as a burden or a forced responsibility in India. The existing guidelines and standards which are there don’t focus on the spatial quality of the shared spaces and lack innovation. Thus, making the designing rigid and mechanical, creating a barrier of discrimination in usability of shared space between the visually impaired and abled. This dissertation paper aims at testing the derived parameters through the various patterns derived by thee the visually impaired individuals from the multisensory environment around and also taking in consideration the existing guidelines and standards. These parameters are tested on shared public spaces to know whether the existing shared spaces are comfortable and barrier free for visually impaired or not. This can be tackled as architecture is a discipline which accommodates all types of users and also considers the multi-sensory environments while designing and planning spaces. Thus, making the space usable, accessible by all and creating an efficient barrier free and social built environment.
