I have always loved design. In particular, furniture design, for there is infinite potential to interpret and challenge existing notions of what is valued. It is in this atmosphere that I, along with a team of artisans thrive, create, and put forth designs of thoughtful, artistic elegance from the heaps of things thrown away by others. Growing up in a family where creativity was fostered shaped my way of thinking about how anything could be transformed, and how everything has value. Those lessons have helped shape the path of Omforme towards saving as much as 15,000 pounds of furnishings and building materials from landfills yearly. This lookbook uncovers only the tip of the iceberg that is our collective creativeness towards showing the masses that they already have the things they want: existing quality furnishings that are only in need of a makeover to be cherished again. We’ve led the way in the Twin Cities towards changing the current mindset about what re-design is and its adaptability to modern times. There literally is no other store quite like us in the area. It is a joy and a privilege to work in the field of both furniture and interior design. It’s been my job to bring out the uniqueness in every person I meet, celebrate it, and make their lives a living dream at home. I couldn't imagine a better career.

Reviving Worthiness: Omforme has joined forces with non-profit HTM (Help The Many) to give women who have been through abuse and addiction a chance to gain back the self worth they’ve lost along the way. Designer fabrics destined for the trash are given to HTM where ladies learn to sew these ultra- luxe pillows.
