Abdulrahim is an Architectural Engineering graduate of Oklahoma State University in the USA and has held significant roles at world-class fims where he was extensively involved in project management. Abdulrahim has worked on several prestigious projects in Oman portraying strong leadership ability and professional ethics in managing a multi-national environment and has been instrumental in setting up the practice and bringing it to where it is today.
Parveez Ahmed is an Operations Manager with extensive Management experience in several coutnries. Parveez has worked on numerous projects in and around MENA including colleges, hotels and resorts, hospitals, exhibition centers, and residential housing units including the residence of HM the Sultan of Oman. Coming from a MEP background, and projects management, Parveez has been instrumental in guiding Amjaad consultancy through delivering successfully several prestigious projects.

Hussam as an experienced Civil Engineer has worked on several high profile projects in Syria and Saudi Arabia prior to his post in Oman. Hus-sam’s experience is extensive and ranges from working on ministry build-ings, schools, airports, conference halls and wellknown buildings includ-ing those of Aramco in Saudi Arabia and the Bodayri Palace in Syria.
Vaseem supervises designing and preparing specifications, carrying out technical feasibility studies and quality assurance. He trains and manages the technical team of engineers, and coordinates with contractors and engineers on site. His vast experiences range from structural endurance research and analysis to working on the Sultan’s Palace in Muttrah, the new Bank Muscat Headquarters building, the Royal Court Diwan’s Office in the UAE as well as residential villas at the Wave Muscat and Barr Al Jissah.
Hobert Deyan, Senior Design Architect Hobert has completed his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from St. Louis University, Philippines and has a design career spanning over 15 years. He has gained his design techniques from Japan, Philippines, Bahrain and Oman and has won several design competitions in Bahrain projects such as Diyar Al Muharraqand Durrat Marina (part of Durrat Al Bahrain). Hobert as a leading concept designer has been designing prestigious projects in Oman such as Liwan A safina in Ghubra, Nizwa Grand Mall, and other major mixed use developments.
Mohammed Yunus, MEP Manager Mohammed Yunus has a vast experience in the field of MEP with commitment for completing the responsibilities in the field of designing & execution for a wide range of projects in India & Oman ranging from mixed use development projects, Shopping Malls, Hospitality industry projects, research center projects, airport project, various ministry office buildings and commercial buildings.
Zeny Liz, Senior Interior Designer Zeny has major experience in carrying out concept and detail designs, preparation of presentation materials, bill of quantities, FF&E specifications, site inspections, retail design & material approvals. She is an Architect by a profession with a great passion for Interior designing. The historic town of Nizwa, two hours from Muscat along a good highway, lies on a plain surrounded by a thick palm oasis and some of Oman’s highest mountains. Nizwa is one of the oldest cities in Oman and it was once a center of trade, religion, education and art. Today, Nizwa is a diverse prosperous place with numerous agricultural, historical and recreational aspects – to which Nizwa Grand Mall contributes greatly. The project lies on 77,295 m2 of land of which in the current phase 37,840m2 have been utilised for construction and the rest is to be constructed in future phases.
Amjaad Value The Client Ministry of Defence Pension Fund (MODPF) in collaboration with Amjaad Group of companies has initiated to offer the local people a truly satisfying shopping experience which is redefining the modern economy. Through systematic efforts and detailed planning and coordination, Amjaad has included 81 (eighty one) tenants under one roof including 5 Anchor tenants including Carrefour brand of retail which is the first in the Interiors of Oman. The project also includes a 3D cinema, Bowling and Ice Skating rink as entertainment services to the customers which are widely popular among the locals. A truly time bound effort to deliver the project in 2 (two) years with utmost quality was achieved through continuous efforts of the entire team to meet customer satisfaction.
Architecture The project is conceptualized and delivered in a manner where guests feel most welcome and attracted towards a defining retail shopping experience. The use of natural sunlight is established through skylight provisions and elevation in line with traditional Omani Architecture is maintained through Arches and Façade.
Landscape The parking lot with a capacity of 950+ vehicles including Buses has been landscaped to accommodate Palm trees and Neem trees to get the benefit of a true natural environment with irrigation in place attached to a timer for watering of the trees.

Landscape The parking lot has been designed with a capacity of 450+ vehicles and is a part of combined parking of 1350+ vehicles including Busses which is a part of the master plan including adjoining shopping centre. Plantation of Palm trees and Neem trees to get the benefit of a true natural environment with irrigation already in place attached to a timer for watering of the trees. Small grass and shrub plantation is also beautifully designed to integrate with the surroundings and give a comfortable atmosphere.

barka grand center Project Summary Barka is located about 65 kms from Muscat. Amjaad scope to provide the feasibility study, design, supervise, lease and retail management. The Mall consists of Main Anchor Tenants (Carrefour, centerpoint, Max, Emax, funcity along with the international Branded 47 retail tenants such as Mothercare, clairs, nayomi Shoeexpress, starbuks, caribocaffe etc... in addition to the Food court area. The mezzanine level is serving machine rooms and prayer rooms, the roof area is provided with Car park facilities and accessable by lngest travelator and lifts. The mall is having a Built up area of 50,000 m² and with Ground floor area of 27,000 m² providing nearly 600 Car parks at roof level and 100 car parks at Ground floor level. An exclusive Fly over for approaching the Mall is considered from the Barka City to ease the traffic Movement as the approach from Muscat is very easy. Traffic study was done in order to provide smooth access and movement for the Mall in accordance to the requirement of the Local Authorities. Barka Grand center has been awarded as Best Commercial project of the Year during 2015.

Architecture The architectural design is done considering the land value and to get more income. The ample space for the Car parks is designed which provides nearly 700 car parks at roof and ground floor. The Travelator is centrally placed in addition to the 2 No. of lifts each near the Anchor tenants for approaching roof car park. The exclusive loading and unloading areas are provided for Anchor tenants. Energy center area is separated so that it is not affecting the main area to best utilize the space to avoid remote spaces.
MEP SERVICES The MEP design has been well organized in accordance to the international standards and pertaining to local authorities. The Centralized Gas tank has been provided for the Food & Beverage (F&B) Units. The separate allocated area for the energy center has been utilized for the substations providing 5500 KVA of power for the Mall. Well equipped Fire / domestic water tank has been considered. 4 No. of AC chillers (each with a capacity of 330 ton) are placed and area for one Standby Chiller is considered for any future expansion. Primary and secondary pumps are allocated for chilled water network. The entire Mall is provided with the telecom / internet facility by the local service provider.

LIWAN A’SAFINAH Project summary Liwan A’Safinah, nested in Al Ghubra, is a high-end shopping center that aims to provide end-users an exceptional shopping experience. The shopping mall will feature luxury retail outlets, leading retail restaurants and other leisure brands with approximately 6,400 sqm Gross Leasable Area. The Architectural design was themed from a Ship that symbolizes Oman’s prosperous seafaring experience as well as the country’s strive to grow and sail towards success. The design is a fusion of modern and traditional Omani Architecture which achieves a dynamic and supportive relationship between art and architecture and shall contribute to the project’s objective that is to set a benchmark for shopping centers in the Sultanate.

ARCHITECTURE
The Interior design will feature some creative design elements that will bring life to the structure. It aims to achieve a distinct character that will make the mall an exciting retail and leisure destination. The interior will reflect the exterior design concept that is inspired by a Ship, by the use of wooden wall claddings, stone/porcelain tiles with wooden effect, natural stones, Arabic fused with organic patterns, contrasting color scheme and strong geometric shapes. They say that people in Oman have a close relationship with the sea due to its geographic location, so to make it more interesting, the interior design intends to illustrate some elements of the country’s maritime history in a modern way. This attempt will create an urban yet rustic architecture, a modern design but well within Oman traditions and Architectural style.

PARK-INN FOUR STAR HOTEL Project Summary The Project is located at the tourism zone of Duqm within an entire site area of 500,000 m2. The overall site development is planned in different phases. The first phase of the development is Park-Inn four star hotel which comprises of 73 hotel chalets and apartments with amenities like Swimming pool, gymnasium, spa, children’s play area, Restaurants (All day dining and Grill Restaurant) tennis court, mini soccer field, conference rooms, billiards and business center, and a landscape area of 47,000 square meter and 12,000 square meters road network and parking.

Al-Ruwad International School Project Summary Al-Ruwad International School, is located in Al-Khoud. The Project comprises of School Building, Accommodation Building and Service Block. The building has G+2 floor levels for School and 3 floors Accommodation Block and Only Ground floor level for the Service Block. The Built up Area for School Block is 22,500 m², Accommodation Block is 2,100 m² And for Service Block is 500 m². School Block – The Ground floor provides sufficient space for courtyard, play area, indoor games, Swimming pool, in addition to Class rooms, other services and Reception area. First floor accommodates of Class rooms, laboratories, libraries and other service areas. The Second floor comprises of class rooms with other srevice areas, in overall there are 55 no. of Class rooms Accommodation Block – The Ground and First Floor consists of 12 No. of Studios in each level. The Pent House level consists of 6 studios and 3 No. of Single Bedroom Flats. Service Block – only for the Ground level consists of Security Guard room, driver’s room and rest rooms.
Architecture & INTERIORS The project is conceptualized designed considering the creativity to encourage the students to get attracted to the environment for the gaining of the knowledge.
