MEET MS. LIVING ROOM
Ms. Living Room is the sort of social butterfly who is never alone. She is the “mayonnaise” that glues the group together. Like many woman, her personality is multifaceted. She is inclusive but private at times. She is loud but peaceful when she desires to be. She is fun-loving but restful. This bachelorette loves to be surrounded by company, yet, a private tête-à-tête with a close friend is always valued. One of her talents is multitasking: On any given day, you can find her writing, listening to music, drinking coffee, and talking to a group of friends at the same time! Ms Living Room loves to dress up. She has a knack for fashion. You will always find her looking stylish and smart. Ms Living Room likes a small drink after dinner, under the warm dimming summer sky. She becomes a different person here. Her vivacious personality becomes louder still, and fills the room. She mingles with everybody, and charms them all with her charming charisma. ReadWrite Architecture Poem, screenplay, parable, graphic novel, myth or even opera: this project harnesses literary forms to conceptualise and propose architectural designs. The vehicle for this exploration is a design on the site of the Downtown Shopping Centre which will be demolished to make way for the City Rail Link.
