WHO WE ARE O My Bag is a classic fashion brand that creates fair made leather bags and accessories. An O My Bag is classic, practical and fashionable. Made of the best leather, but with that authentic vintage feel. Sophisticated, but not boring. Casual, with an edge. But above all, a leather bag that you can flaunt without guilt.
WHAT WE DO Our bags are made from a unique kind of eco-leather that is tanned without harmful chemicals and the skins come from local Indian cows. This adds up to a cleaner and safer tanning process and reduces carbon footprint. In the area of Kolkata, India, every O My Bag is created with love in the safe and positive atmosphere of Fair Trade, where fair wages and benefits are paid, women are empowered and training and education is offered.
WHAT MATTERS MOST We, at O My Bag make great bags that will not only make you happy, but also the world around you. The choices you make as a shopper are part of the global solution to issues like poverty, education and global warming. We aim to harness the power of business to create social change. O My Bag supports the concept of Trade, Not Aid. We aim to harness the power of business to create social change. By developing trade relationships in developing countries we seek to empower artisans to rise above poverty and provide for their families.
Our eco-friendly leather is produced without the use of harmful chemicals such as chromium IV, PCP and AZO dyes.
Our bags are made of cowhides which are sourced locally and died regardless of the fashion industry.

Our fair trade partners provide a safe and healthy environment for their workers, where nutrition needs are met, health costs are covered and the poor, especially women, are empowered.
O My Bag’s producers are certified Fair Trade organizations in or near Kolkata, in the West Bengal state of India. By providing access to the global market we connect them with our customers who love a good bag.
Our producers earn enough money to live a good and healthy life and can provide for their families.
CONSUMER RESPONSIBILITY We believe the choices we make as shoppers can change the world. We can create a worldwide demand for products made with respect for the environment and take a stand for a fairer trade.
