Japanese Microfiber The inside coating is no less impressive with beautifully designed Chinese patterns created from high quality Japanese Microfibers giving the inside case a lush premium feel. At just 1/100th the diameter of a human hair Microfibers measure two times finer than silk making them incredibly thin and fine. The Microfiber used in Amber Lu's case is a sustainable luxury Microfiber made by using an advanced technology system giving it superior physical properties in terms of bonding and tear strength, with low and even elongation. The inside patterned coating comes in the color red for all cases, except for the exclusive red cover where the inside is distinctive in black.

Heritage
As a designer, Amber Lu employs Chinese symbols and traditionalisms in the overall design of every case. Her Chinese name contains the word "红“, which translates to "Red" in English. Red is a deeply rooted color in the Chinese culture, symbolising good fortune and joy. Amber Lu connects her name with her heritage utilising the color red in all her iPad and iPhone cases to express luck and happiness.
The Amber Lu logo is inspired by the double happiness characters in Chinese calligraphy. The double happiness symbol is an ornamental design used in decorations and can be translated as 'Double Happy' or 'Double Joy'. This motif is pronounced as shuāngxǐ (双喜) in Chinese and is generally associated with Chinese New Year celebrations and weddings. It is a symbol that is found throughout Chinese weddings especially, as well as on gift items given to the bride and groom for luck and continued happiness. The Amber Lu logo carries on this tradition of wishing all users happiness and luck and is prevalent in all Amber Lu products.
Amber Lu also takes advantage of traditional Chinese signs. Since ancient times, the Chinese have assigned deep and thoughtful meanings to all of their symbols. Amber Lu utilises this by using the Chinese symbol for longevity along with classic Chinese window patterns to carefully decorate the inside of each case, giving you a window into the antiquity and mysticism of the Middle Kingdom.
