Black History Month: Onata Acknowledges the Contributions of the African American Community to the Society
As we draw closer to the far end of celebrating the Black History Month, it’s a great time to reflect upon the relevance, contributions, and aspirations of the black community in America. The release of Black Panther was perhaps the most fitting tribute to the Black History Month in ages. It was perhaps the tribute that came a century too late. Onata salutes the efforts and contributions of black community leaders like Martin Luther King Jr., Phillis Wheatley (18th-century poet), Norbert Rilleaux (inventor of the multiple-effect evaporator), Frances Harper (social activist), Bessie Coleman (first licensed black engineer of the world), and Thurgood Marshall (first black Supreme Court Jurist). As an ecosystem for the Universe of Services, Onata recognizes the contribution of every citizen of the community in creating, nurturing, and in many ways, reigniting the American Dream. We truly believe that social bridging between communities and people at large is possible when we become of service to one another.
