Ondrej Janku
Ondrej Janku is an architect, designer & researcher working on projects in The Czech Republic and Switzerland. He collaborated for five years with Herzog & de Meuron in Basel on a wide range of projects such as a hospital in Zurich, high-end residential tower in New York and an orientalist museum in Doha. Ondrej did his internship at BIG in Denmark as a team member of a winning competition proposal for a town hall in Tallinn. In 2013 he has graduated from STRELKA institute in Moscow where he conducted urban research on the future development of Moscow based on a clash of formal and informal city growth. In 2009 he obtained a Master of Arts from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague with his thesis that proposed an alternative vision for Prague's city development based on an analysis of different types of city boundaries.
