SINCE 1970 IN THE FOOTHILLS OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA DURING THE 1960’S A YOUNG MAN NAMED JIM O’NEAL WOULD RIDE HIS MODIFIED TRIUMPH TO HIGH SCHOOL. AFTER SCHOOL AND ON WEEKENDS JIM WOULD PUT HIS BIKE THROUGH ITS PACES, HITTING THE DIRT TRAILS AND CARVED TRACKS THAT PEPPERED THE HILLSIDE ABOVE THE CITY. IN 1966, THESE SAME RIDING LOCATIONS BECAME HOST TO AMERICA’S FIRST MOTOCROSS RACE AT HOPETOWN. IT WAS THEN THAT JIM’S PASSION FOR RIDING TURNED TO RACING AND IN 1970, O’NEAL WAS BORN. NOW, 50 YEARS LATER, YOU CAN STILL FIND THE O’NEAL US OFFICE JUST A FEW MILES FROM THE OLD HOPETOWN TRACK. IPX® ACells. Welcome to the next generation of helmet safety – IPX® ACells rotational impact absorption technology. It is designed to reduce head injuries caused by rotational and low-speed impacts.

The IPX® Absorption Cells (ACells) use a specially engineered polymer foam, developed to make our helmets some of the safest on the market in the event of a crash. Every part of each individual IPX® ACells has been specifically engineered to work together to provide the ultimate in crash protection: INJECTED ANTI-FRICTION DISC, LOW-SPEED-IMPACT-ABSORPTION & FLEXIBLE CORE

FLEX-SYSTEM & PENTA-GEOMETRY Guarantees instant reaction to rotational impacts and enables the ACells to deform depending on the direction of rotational forces to minimize head injuries.

The soft and flexible polymer material helps to protect against forces caused by low speed impacts. It absorbs these forces before the EPS (expanded polystyrene) performs its function at higher speed to protect against bigger impacts.

IPX® ACells are available in selected O’Neal helmet models and were developed in conjunction with multiple MTB Downhill World-Cup winner and multiple MTB Downhill World Champion Greg Minnaar: • RACE-READY: IPX® ACells do not affect the fitting of the helmet liner. Helmets with IPX ® ACells do not bounce or move on the head during riding. • ENHANCED-FOREHEAD-PROTECTION: The positioning of IPX® ACells enhances the performance for direct or oblique frontal impacts, using lots of individual components and positioning them more towards the front of the helmet.

HELMET FEATURES IPX® ACELLS: Advanced safety with the IPX®️ ACells. Designed to reduce head injuries caused by rotational and low-speed impacts during crashing. Pre-installed in O’NEAL’s premium helmets and as option to install after-market for various MX and MTB helmets.

HYDRATION HOSE GUIDE: Two simple holes inside the side EPS allows easy installation of the hydration hose guide. Available as option for various full face helmets.

EMERGENCY PULL STRAP: In case of a crash you can easily get the helmet cheek pads out by pulling the red loop. This function allows to take off your helmet without any additional pressure on the neck.

2020 FIDLOCK®: O`Neal Fidlock®️ magnetic buckle (engineered in Germany) for easy, single-handed fastening and release, provides maximum security while riding. Standard for O’NEAL MTB helmets and also installed in the 3SRS Hybrid MX helmet.

GOPRO MOUNT: Allows easy use of your camera while riding. Most of our helmets are designed to work with this mount. Some have it included and for others it is optional.

AIRFLAPS™️: AIRFLAPS™️ is light and easy to install without any helmet modifications. AIRFLAPS™️ increases ventilation, preventing overheat and/or fog formation for more performance. AIRFLAPS™️ enables the rider to always keep his eyes protected for more safety and comfort.

SCREWS: Solid aluminum screws or ABS Break-AwayScrews. O’NEAL’s premium helmets come with aluminum screws and other helmets have the innovative Break-Away-Screws for additional safety. Both available after-market depending on which works best for you. Both screw sets fit all of our full-face helmets.

Once the screw is broken, you can easily remove the thread with one of the other screws.

Together with Greg we developed a fresh-looking modern helmet with a ton of ventilation and maximum safety in a lightweight package, suitable for both DH and Enduro. The range includes the flagship top-end carbon race version, as chosen and raced by Greg, plus Hyperlite options in several colours and graphics and 2 versions (the carbon and 1 of the fiberglass versions) with our new IPX ACells technology. ADVANCED RACING TECHNOLOGY: FIDLOCK® BUCKLE Super easy to open and close the buckle with one hand, even with gloves on and it is of course tested to the same international standards as the traditional double-D closure system. GREAT LOOK AND FIT: The compact 2-piece racing shell gives a well proportioned look as well as 2 outer shell sizes alongside our new 3D Multi-Positioning System giving a great fit. The adjust works updown, front-rear and open-close giving what feels like a truly tailored fit for all head shapes and sizes. The ratcheted visor allows on-the-fly adjustment and in the topmost position gives plenty of room to rest goggles when not being used, tucked safely under the visor but off the face. 2020 VERSATILITY: The 2019 Oâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;Neal Loam WP SPD mountain bike shoes are so much more than just a winter waterproof product. With the Loam we have created one of the most versatile MTB shoes on the market. It goes without saying that the Loam is 100% waterproof and breathable, perfect for even the worst winter riding conditions. Protection from the elements is increased further with the gusseted tongue, full hook and loop lace cover and neoprene ankle gaiter to prevent any water or dirt ingress.

GREAT 3-4 SEASON SHOE: We have added a layer of thermal insulation and this has been rigorously tested by riders in the winer in Queenstown, NZ, down to around 0C. The toe box of the Loam is also wider than usual, allowing the toes to move and encourage blood circulation but the ankle and heel are still a snug fit to ensure a great fit and maximum power transfer to the pedals. This approach means the Loam performs down to 0C without making the level of insulation too much. The shoe can also therefore be used comfortably up into 20C+ without over-heating. This 3-4 season use plus the reinforced toe and heel areas mean the Loam is the go-to choice for our DH and Enduro racers. The steel shank allows super efficient power transfer. GRIP OFF THE BIKE: The all-new Adventure outsole gives great traction on off the bike in muddy conditions. Whether you want a true winter waterproof shoe and/ or a shoe you can rely on when racing DH or Enduro then the Loam is the perfect choice.
