National Youth Dance Company (NYDC) is England’s flagship youth dance company. NYDC brings together talented young dancers from across the country to work with leading artists and create world-class performances. The company supports young artists to realise their potential and gain an insight into the dance profession.

Novacene is a new work by multi-award winning choreographer Wayne McGregor CBE to celebrate the company’s 10 year anniversary. In his role as Guest Artistic Director for 2022/23, Wayne McGregor has created this work in collaboration with the dancers, who come from across England and from a range of different backgrounds and dance styles. The company presents an exclusive extract of the full-length work for the U.Dance National Festival.
