Join us for an interactive event presented by SVP Public Affairs, Government Relations, CSR, and Philanthropy Jonathan Mayes and VP Learning and Leadership Development Dan Cousins to learn tips and tricks on developing your communication style and ways to deliver an effective “Elevator Speech”. Come prepared with a business topic you’re working on. There will be opportunities to participate!

Join Darren Singer and Thom Brown for an inspiring panel discussion with two-time Paralympic swimming gold medalist Rudy Garcia-Tolson on overcoming obstacles and achieving success. At the age of seven, Rudy made the difficult decision to have both his legs removed above the knee. Despite his amputations, Rudy focused on his passion for sports and his goals to win multiple gold and silver medals at the Paralympic Games.

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, awareness, and research. Register for our team today! Even if you cannot attend the walk, you can raise awareness and funds by participating as a Virtual Walker.

SAN and Corporate Asian American Employee Network (CAAEN) will be hosting their annual event on the Safeway campus. A panel of speakers will discuss the topic “On the Shoulders of Giants” and there will be an opportunity to network with several other Bay Area companies. A light dinner and refreshments will be served at this event.

We will discuss how to handle failure and leverage ones’ strengths and provide the audience with any tools to help them become innovators.

Building Bridges Garden Beautification Saturday, October 26 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. VA Hospital Livermore We are collaborating with Building Bridges to build planter boxes, plant flowers and vegetables, repair irrigation, install a misting system, and general landscaping to beautify the VA Hospital Gardens.
