LEADERSHIP

BOUNDARIES.

Just a few months ago, in March to be more exact, our ambitious idea finally crystallized into a publication very similar to the one you are holding in your hands right now. It was during the great Bogotå event when the Ambassador of OneLife Latin America Jose Gordo formally introduced us to the attendees. That edition, specially focused on the leaders of Latin America, was a complete success, and we could witness how the enthusiasm grew around the stalls where we offered the magazine. Networkers would leaf through the magazine with curiosity to find out more about that leader who perhaps inspired them to change their lives. Newcomers to the business could find themselves reflected in the stories of improvement and success of people who have already made their dreams a reality. And great leaders got excited seeing their stories captured in those pages. In our first issue, we explained our reasons and our motivation: we want to know as many success stories as this great global OneLife project has created, we want to turn those stories into a beacon of inspiration for many networkers around the world. With those stories, we also want to show the truth of success: it is not easy, but it is totally possible if you follow the advice of those who have already overcome all the challenges. We want you to be able to learn from those experiences, but at the same time, give a deserved recognition to the hard work that the leaders that appear in the magazine have done. And we were very pleased to see that our edition for Latin America was fulfilling its purpose on the day of our presentation to the public and from then on. This is our first international edition, with stories of leadership from different parts of the world, in printed format. There is, therefore, a limited number of printed copies of our second edition. And our intention is to create another special edition with a new theme in the coming months. But while these pages are being printed, we are already working to offer you a digital version with regular updates containing more stories and, above all, tools, advice, tips and tricks, as well as the news about the company’s projects and much more. Our greatest ambition is to add value and to be useful. We take this opportunity to thank all the leaders who have collaborated with us, who have understood the initiative and its importance, and have decided to be part of it. Without you, our dream would have been just an idea. As the slogan of the company says: Together for more

THE FIRST TRANSPARENT AND GLOBAL CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR ALL

According to the vision of OneCoin promoted by its founder, Dr. Ruja Ignatova, the company focuses on improving the lives of many people throughout the world by allowing instantaneous access to financial services. This is possible thanks to educational tools that simplify and popularize digital currencies, helping entrepreneurs and independent people understand and use the first private digital currency that is OneCoin. All above based on corporate values that determine the activity and the development of this company. OneCoin is backed by the powerful Blockchain technology, which is working on the production of a limited number of ONEs (OneCoins): 120 billion. The number is adapted to respond to future massive transactions, with Blockchain working every minute so as to satisfy the needs of the merchants. OneCoin is an international cryptocurrency that empowers millions of people, with global access to low-cost transactions and the information recorded in consistent and uninterrupted sequences of its Blockchain. The OneCoin cryptocurrency is characterized by being secure and easy to use. It is supported by a system where the users can mine the coin and use it in an easy way. The developers work proactively to adapt to the existing policies of world governments and markets, promoting the security of the coin use and the transparency in transactions thanks to the KYC system (Know-Your-Client) and thus facilitating the introduction of our digital currency into the world’s financial system. In this way, the company develops an ecosystem around OneCoin, enhancing the strengths of the coin and thus creating a stable currency for the mass market.

DR. RUJA IGNATOVA

A MORE PERSONAL

INTERVIEW Taking advantage of her first visit to Mexico, we wanted to know more about the founder of the OneCoin cryptocurrency and her vision for the company. The leader of OneLife, Mariana López de Waard will ask Dr. Ruja both professional and personal questions in an interview that will let us see a more human side of this amazing business woman. MLW: Good afternoon. My name is Mariana López de Waard. We are here in Mexico, and I’m very pleased and honoured, it’s a real privilege for me to be here together with the CEO and the founder Dr. Ruja Ignotova. I’m very grateful that you have found the time to be here with us and thank you very much for your availability. RI: Thank you for your invitation, this is my first time here in Mexico and I’m very excited to be here. I like the city, I really like the country very much, and you all know that for OneCoin, Latin America is a very strategic market, because we believe that many of our users are here, in Latin America. And very soon, we will open an office in Mexico. So I look forward to this event here and meeting as many leaders as I can, so thank you for taking your time and doing this interview with me. MLW: Thank you, the pleasure is all mine. We know that you are a very confident personality, very close to people, mostly, other cryptocurrency owners, but nobody knows who they are. And you, from day one, you are there, you are approachable, and we can see you at events, at meetings, and you even took you time to be with us in the office in Sofia. The purpose of this interview is to get to know a bit more about Dr. Ruja Ignotova. We would like to know a little more about the face and the heart of OneCoin, the cryptocurrency that is revolutionizing the world. RI: I do not think I’m that interesting, but let’s see what you want to know, okay, come on. MLW: Why did you choose to be a public figure instead of hiding, like other businessmen, for example, the Bitcoin founder?

RI: I think the reason I chose to go this way is because OneCoin is different from Bitcoin. I always say that we are very grateful to Bitcoin for being the pioneer in this industry, and really, for having invented the blockchain, for having invented this concept. But when I started to think about the cryptocurrency, I wanted to create a cryptocurrency for the mass market, for everybody. And I believe that if we create something good, something big, you don’t have to feel ashamed or have to hide. We are very proud of our work, and when I say “we”, I mean the whole team and, I believe, all the 3,3 million people who are with us. So, how would I expect other people to go out and talk about OneCoin, if I hid myself and didn’t talk about it? I’m very proud of what we have created. And I still feel very pleasantly surprised by the success we are having, and I believe it was the right time for the right idea. OneCoin is known to be a transparent, approachable and trustworthy cryptocurrency. I don’t think we would have gotten that far, if the currency had no face, if people couldn’t ask questions, if they didn’t know who we are. MLW: I agree. Brexit followed by the fall in the value of the pound, which is a clear example of how fragile our financial system is. Where do you think this current financial system is going to? RI: We need a financial system and we need traditional banks. Traditional banks will never go out of business, but of course, countries always go through crises. For example, I’m from Eastern Europe and I remember how we went through a huge inflation. We have countries where the governments are not stable. Countries that have passed through different types of crises. And I don’t

think cryptocurrencies should compete with fiat currencies. I see the cryptocurrency more as virtual gold. There has always been demand for gold in the world. Why do people buy gold? Because they want to have security, some independent value of the government or fiat money. This is why I believe cryptocurrencies are useful. And the second point, again, is that we have a limited number of coins, so you cannot print all the coins you want, like many national banks do. MLW: What will be the role of OneCoin? RI: I hope OneCoin will become the cryptocurrency of the people. Like Facebook is now the social media of the people. I would like OneCoin not to be a coin for speculators, which is currently happening at Bitcoin. I would like OneCoin to be a very stable currency, the first choice for merchants and the first choice for people in the street who want to use cryptocurrency. I see it something like PayPal or Western Union, this is where I want us to be: where ordinary people can use it very easily. And I hope one day OneCoin will be synonymous to cryptocurrency, and not Bitcoin. So, whenever people speak of cryptocurrency, OneCoin will be one of the great examples they use. MLW: New technologies are still mostly male dominated. How does it feel to be a super lady boss in this field? RI: Not only in technology, we still live in a society dominated by men. A lot of the senior positions are still occupied by men, but I see more and more women getting involved in jobs like these, more and more women having fun and doing things. Me, for example, I like numbers a lot, and this is why I chose this industry: I like finances, I like numbers, I feel very happy to be where I am. I don’t know how I would feel if I were a man, but I feel like I do right things and things that excite me. As long as I like getting up in the morning to go to work, I will continue working. MLW: According to a recent study from the Cambridge University, the Department of Economics, women tend to be more social and have a more humanistic view of the economy. But still, one of every four students is female. RI: First of all, there is always a choice that we as women make: what we want to study. And many of us still study “softer” subjects: education, arts and so on. I believe it’s important that we have equal access to education. And that we also make science somehow more accessible for girls and for women. If you are not afraid of math or computer science, of course, as a woman, you want to go and try it. And I believe that we as mothers should tell our daughters that they can do whatever they want, and if they decide to do computer science,

10 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

great. If they decide to do education and become teachers, still, we must support them. And I don’t really believe that women are softer in business. Ask people who work with me: I’m very clear, very focused and I believe that our men also like working for a woman. That’s a good environment that we created, probably a bit more fun and sociable, but the work needs to be done. MLW: Exactly. When did you know exactly that you wanted to dedicate yourself to this business? RI: Cryptocurrency is not a business that you wake up one day in the morning and say: “Oh, I want to do cryptocurrency”. I was working at McKinsey doing a lot of international banking insurance. And I remember reading some articles and feeling a little frustrated, because I felt somehow that everything was already invented. Facebook was already invented, Google, the Internet. All these cool things, where people go from zero to hero. There was nothing left somehow. And I was looking at Bitcoin and at first, I didn’t believe it would work. I thought that this concept would die, it wouldn’t happen. And then, it was gaining more popularity, and the more successful it got, the more interested I felt. I discovered that there were very big advantages, but also some disadvantages. It was created, for example, before the terrorist attacks, and all those things. And it was not a mass market currency. And this was an opportunity that I saw and that excited me, so I started thinking of what an opportunity was like. But to be very honest with you, the vision is still in development, it’s getting bigger and more interesting. Many of our users come to me and say: “We should do this, or that”, and many ideas continue to appear, and it is still very exciting. And until we make it to the top, I will not stop doing this. But of course, I enlarge the team and get more and more professional support, because one person cannot, and should not, do it alone. MLW: Who inspired you? RI: It’s a very difficult question, and I think, speaking about role models, there is no single one to mention. Of women, I was fortunate to have as a mentor a lady from Bulgaria who is very close to me. McKinsey also has some very interesting lady co-workers, not many, but interesting ones. And of course, I think, Hillary Clinton is a very interesting person. I’m not saying that I want to be like her, but something inspired me: her dedication, persistence, being very focused on having goals. What I do is find people I like, and somehow figure it out all together.. MLW: A very good example. Do you believe in luck? RI: I always say fortune favours the brave. So, if you want to be lucky, you probably should create your

own opportunities. And the more opportunities you create, the more the chance to be lucky. But I have to be honest again, I have met fantastic people totally by accident, by coincidence, and it has been extremely helpful to me. For example, Sebastian Greenwood. I met him in a social setting, he was introduced to me by a friend, and he was the one who gave us the opportunity of network marketing. Without this encounter, I would probably have done OneCoin in a totally different way. So yes, I was lucky. Whether I believe in luck or not, I was very lucky at certain times.

MLW: How’s Dr. Ruja when she gets home and takes off her shoes? RI: I’m not much time at home, unfortunately. I enjoy reading a lot, I really like going out, too. I don’t think I’m that interesting. Nothing special happens. I know people have much more exciting and amazing hobbies than I do, but I like being with my friends, with my family, catching up with what’s going on. I read a lot, I love reading. MLW: Among all the trips, events, meetings, how

do you arrange a time to be with the family? RI: I don’t have much time to be with my family, but I want to change that now. From October 1st, I will make some changes and expand a bit the administration team. I’m having a baby, it’s a girl: very exciting, but also a bit scary, to be honest. One has to make time and priorities. Work is extremely important, but at the end of the day, the family is also very important. They give us the strength to move on and be creative. But, you know, some of my closest friends are my colleagues. Some of the best relationships I have are at work. We arrived at the office in Sofia, the top management, and we felt close together, like a family. We go out together quite often, and this is something that I really like. MLW: Do you like animals? RI: I like animals, but I don’t like it so much about pets. I like wild animals, like lions. Lions the ones I like the most. I like strong animals: the panther, the lion. This wild power within. But my brother has a lot of pets, there are two dogs, and I like them, too. But I prefer to see animals in the wild nature, rather than being encaged in a zoo. MLW: I know there is a project you’re starting, with animals? RI: We have a foundation, the OneWorld Foundation. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough time for it, but I have a very good team who deal with it. The main purpose of the foundation is education, but the more we deal with different causes, the more I get involved in the topic of child labour. This is a cause that I want to focus on in the next years of the Foundation, because I think it is very sad that young children are forced to work, and I saw some photos that were really bad, and some of these things happen in our main markets: Asia, Thailand. So, we want to do something there. But, speaking of animals, we also have some projects: some teams say they feel very passionate about the topic. It’s called OneFriend, and the whole office is involved, they go and help animals in their free time. They donate time and we donate money. They have adopted several dogs and take care of many animals in their free time, so we support them. MLW: Amazing, I love animals, too. Going back to OneCoin, we keep hearing that it’s the future and it’s a market revolution, the future of payments. But why do you think exactly it’s a revolution? RI: The main reason to believe that it is a revolution is because we have 2 billion people who currently don’t have access to banks. People who cannot take decisions, like we do. We can go and buy a nice dress, we can make money transfers. Whatever. But these 2 billion cannot. That’s why I think that if

12 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

we use cryptocurrency to bring these people into our world, then we will have created something amazing. Even if we improve the lives of only 100 million of these people, 200 million, we will create a huge change. And this is also another reason why I think OneCoin has value: as long as it serves to change people’s lives for the better, your product has value. This is why I believe that cryptocurrency can exist and have a reason to be there. Of course, it also revolutionizes the world, allows globalization. People want to do global business, more easily and quickly. This is also a reason why OneCoin will work very well. But whenever I think about the big picture, I think first of all the unbanked people, then I think of the merchants who want to do business in the world, and then again, I go back to the unbanked who want to make cross-border money transfers. When most of the options are: I want to send 100€ home, and someone takes 30€ more as fees. I don’t think it’s fair or necessary. This is what I think. MLW: When do you think the world is going to use OneCoin in their daily lives? For example, pay for the hotel room here, or for a trip to Spain, or shop at the supermarket. RI: It depends on several factors. I hope that in two to five years, cryptocurrency will be accepted globally. What would be extremely helpful for us is that global regulators started dealing with cryptocurrency. We are very well prepared for this, and we are probably one of the few cryptocurrencies that really call for regulation, because it will make our life easier. Many people don’t trust new technology, many people don’t understand it. And when we start to be regulated like other financial institutions, I believe it will be a great step forward. This is something we cannot influence, of course, but we have set the goal: 10 million users in 2 years; 1 million merchants, and all this makes the cryptocurrency pretty usable. MLW: Now, to finish, what message would you like to transmit to all people, especially to women, who still think, or haven’t had the opportunity to learn about OneCoin? Why should they join us? RI: We currently distribute OneCoin through a network marketing system. And I believe that women are so communicative and eager to change the world in a good way... They don’t think only about money, they have a bigger vision, and I truly believe they can join us and do good things. And also earn money in a very that is very flexible for them and their families. The main message is always: believe in yourself. Because no one else will. If you believe in yourself, you can achieve everything. I have risen from nothing, my parents were not rich, I had a complete scholarship for my studies: I wouldn’t have been able to go to Oxford without this scholarship. For me, it was groundbreaking. I’m probably an example of how one can make it.

My parents are from Eastern Europe, an average salary is about 200€. And now, look at us, we had a good idea, we believed in ourselves, but we had to work very hard. A lot can happen, so believe in yourself, and miracles can happen. I still cannot believe where we are and how amazing everything is. And now we have to give back. When you are successful, give back to somebody, find someone, teach them, help them, change their life. MLW: Exactly. It’s our job now at OneLife: sharing and giving back, everything OneCoin has given us and will give us in the future. Thank you, Dr. Ruja. RI: Thank you. It was a very nice interview and a pleasure to be here, and I hope I will be much more often in Latin America and Mexico. I really enjoy myself very much and I love the city. Thanks.

“OneCoin will gain value as long as it changes the lives for the better.’’

Konstantin Ignatov

TRUE LEADERS GROW

TOGETHER

WITH THEIR TEAMS The first thing that should be clear is that Konstantin Ignatov is much more than the brother of the founder, Dr. Ruja Ignatova. Some leaders and members of the corporate team have already had the opportunity to meet Konstantin and work with him before he became a public figure. But for most of us, it’s time to get to know Konstantin in depth in this more personal interview: a leader, an advisor, Dr. Ruja’s right hand and someone with a special sensitivity to nature.

At OneLife Magazine, we feel especially fortunate that Konstantin Ignatov has perfectly understood our vision for the magazine, that he has supported our initiative and has agreed, without hesitation and plainly, to answer to a series of pretty personal questions that will help us get to know him better: the past, the present, the future and his most human side. It is on the occasion of the Bogotá event, in which Konstantin took part as a special guest, where we had the opportunity to present the project of the magazine to him and ask him some questions.

Something that should be highlighted about Konstantin Ignatov is the special mix of his more professional side and that different and unique touch. Konstantin is someone who, in a certain way, represents the spirit of the company and the entrepreneurship of network marketing: innovation, creativity, audacity. But something that draws our attention above other things is the degree of commitment and conviction that he shows when he talks about the project, which he has been part of in recent years, to a greater or lesser extent. We discovered a Konstantin with a strong leadership vocation, a well-prepared mind and a cause greater than him and the company: a better world, not only for people, but also for all the living beings that inhabit it. OLM IMA: Hello, Mr. Ignatov! Thank you for accepting our invitation and taking your time to answer our questions!

OLM IMA: We want to get to know you a little better. What had been your future plans before this great project began? Did you have previous experience in sectors such as network marketing or finance? KI: My work experience is diverse. I had been working in the finance sector, the health and automobile industry as well, but this right here, what I am part of right now, is surely the biggest challenge in my life. All the new places I visit, all the interesting people I meet, the hard times, the happy moments, the funny stories together, all of this has helped me grow further not only as a manager, but also as an individual. Me, the company and all the teams support each other and grow together, and that’s an advantage. Leadership vocation should be something you are born with, you either have it or not.

KI: My pleasure! Thank you for the invitation!

OLM IMA: And what are your plans for the future now?

OLM IMA: Can you tell us more about your duties in the company and how you decided to take more responsibilities?

KI: As they say, you are the designer of your own destiny. My plans for the future can simply be described as a success formula:

KI: I have always been the most trusted advisor of Dr. Ruja, so my participation in the project and its further development is the most natural thing. Currently, I am working with the Sofia Management Group, where ideas are born and where the magic happens. I also work closely on a daily basis with the so-called GLG Group: a big team of devoted leaders who are responsible for a smoother and quicker communication between the company and the network and who have also provided invaluable advice on the corporate strategy for the year 2018, based on their year-long experience within the OneLife Network.

CLEAR STRATEGY + HARD WORK = GREAT RESULTS

OLM IMA: As you have been following the project since its inception and have been an advisor to Dr. Ruja, tell us: how did you experience the growth of OneCoin and OneLife? KI: It is safe to say that this was the most exciting period of my life. I had been working shoulder to shoulder with Dr. Ruja since the beginning of both projects. There were times when both of us were overloaded with work: we barely slept, our schedule was extremely hectic and we were exhausted. But in the end, when you look back and see what you have achieved, you realize that it was all absolutely worth it. This is such an amazing journey! We are so proud of what we have managed to achieve throughout the years, and we have no intention to stop.

“Leadership vocation should be something you are born with, you either have it or not.”

If you constantly work hard on your personal development, your teams will grow together with you. Great synergy is the key to good results. This is the way we developed our new strategy for the current year, working closely with the network, sharing great ideas and putting them into action. This is what the New Generation Program is all about. So, we are ready for new challenges and new success stories that the future will surely bring our way. OLM IMA: What is your vision for OneCoin and OneLife? Can we count on you as part of the great One Family in the long term? KI: The vision of both companies... I am sure you are familiar with it pretty well. The initial idea of Dr. Ruja, when she started the company, was to offer a coin accessible for everyone, a coin from another dimension, to take the cryptocurrency concept to the next level. And it was not only about convenience, it was for the users to be able to make faster, cheaper and safer transactions globally. Being part of this great adventure gave me the chance to see how this project could empower the unbanked people all over the world. I saw how education can change lives. I am grateful that I had the chance to contribute to this great cause. And, as I always like to say: if you love your job and do it with pleasure, at some point, it won’t feel like a job anymore.

OLM IMA: Now, talking about Dr. Ruja’s Vision and what she has done for so many people worldwide, here is a question that I would like to also ask you. Many people wonder about the noticeable absence of your sister, which has led to speculations of all kinds. Being one of the main sources of inspiration for this project, it is normal for many members of the community to worry. What can you tell those members of the community? KI: There is absolutely no reason to worry. As I have already shared with many of our leaders, Dr. Ruja has taken a little creative break away from the spotlight of the stage. But you know her, she can never just sit, relax and do nothing. So, let me tell you something from “behind the scenes”: we are currently working on a couple of new and exciting projects. I cannot tell you more right now. We are happy to know that Dr. Ruja is doing well and working, even though she has decided to increase her privacy for personal reasons. But we are even more excited to know that there are new projects on the horizon that will perhaps complement the already vast ecosystem of OneCoin and OneLife. And speaking of privacy and being or not in the centre of attention, I have no choice but to ask Konstantin the following question.

OLM IMA: Being part of the Sofia management group and being an Ignatov, it’s you who is now in the centre of the public eye, how do you expect the community and the users to perceive you? What footprint would you like to leave? KI: Being in the centre is a big honour for me. I am proud that I have the chance to represent not only myself, but this big company with so many amazing people. This is not a one-man show, it is all about team work. I am privileged to have the opportunity to put my ideas into action, shape the project and inspire people all over the world. A couple of years ago, when it all began, my sister has set the bar really high, but I am grateful to have this great woman as an example and continue the development of her concept, keeping a high business standard, working hard and proving that a powerful vision can create things beyond even your most ambitious expectations. For us, only the sky is the limit. OLM IMA: What moments are you looking forward to most during this year? KI: We have developed an ambitious company strategy for the year 2018. We aim at exploring new markets and new business opportunities. One of our priorities is the DealShaker project: it has a lot to offer, so we plan to continue with its further

18 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

development. My birthday and the day DealShaker was born are really close, so it is a matter of sentiment for me. I have been extremely busy working lately, so I really hope to have a bit more time to explore more of the places that I visit on my business trips. OLM IMA: I have been told that you are an open and sharing man. So let’s get personal then. What are you most passionate about? Tell us something that has nothing to do with work. KI: I am a born explorer. I love being active and doing many things during the day. I do sports, a lot of sports - mixed martial arts, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, etc. After a hard day at the office, one needs to do something about their physical shape. Believe me, if you put some effort, your body will be grateful to you and will serve you well. But when I feel a little lazy, another thing that I love doing is reading: one of my favourite fields of interest is philosophy. I am passionate about animals as well. Every year, I either volunteer in dog shelters or provide the caretakers with whatever they need to ensure that the dogs are healthy and well-fed. I myself am a proud owner of 7 rescued dogs, so, yeah, we are a big happy family.

tattoo, there is always a story that one doesn’t want to forget. OLM IMA: Can I ask you about your tattoos? I am curious to know if any of them has a personal and important story behind that you would like to share with us. KI: Well, what you see is not many tattoos, covering my skin. For me, it is one big tattoo with its own storyline. Every person has his/her own way of expressing his/her inner self and his own personality. And this is mine. Although we are still a bit curious, the truth is that I loved that answer because it does unveil a part of Konstantin’s character: a creative personality and someone who bets on finding oneself rather than trying to fit with other people’s expectations. It is time to close the interview with a couple of reflections on the past and the future. OLM IMA: What has been the strangest or most exciting moment of the last year for you?

As Juvenal said, “mens sana y corpore sano”. It is a motto that many of our leaders already try to implement in their daily routines, and the truth is, believe it or not, a few hours of sports a week can become a powerful motivator. But it is Konstantin’s passion for reading that challenges his limits, his belief system and his love for volunteering, which makes him an example of how someone can build themselves for leadership. OLM IMA: And how would your closest friends define you? KI: I am an easy going and positive person. And as I said before, I love being active. This is what keeps me going. So, I think those are the keywords that they would use. I’m amazed by the tattoos that appear on Konstantin’s neck above the collar of his shirt and on his wrists. Obviously, there are many more that we are not able to see, but the aim of this interview is to get to know Ignatov thoroughly, so I cannot but ask this question. At the end of the day, behind each

KI: It is difficult to choose a single moment; probably, the very fact of working at OneLife is already something exciting. For me, it has always been exciting to explore different cultures and life in other countries. While at work and also during my spare time, I get to know tons of interesting people. Nature is the other thing that fascinates me and I am always ready to take a walk somewhere in the open and get some fresh air, and wherever I go for work reasons I discover some new, surprising and fascinating landscape that inspires me. OLM IMA: From your point of view, is there anything in the world, a situation that should change as soon as possible? Is there anything that should never change? KI: Before changing the world to a better place, one should change himself first. I have always taken my role as a leader very seriously. I believe this is a chance for me to be a good example of how to treat ourselves and others in a better way, to support people and to help them stay positive. As individuals, we should aim at a contribution to a better place to live on a daily basis: for example, I strongly believe in environmental protection. If we want a better world for ourselves and the generations ahead, we have to take actions today so as to preserve the nature and all its living beings.

YOU CAN ALSO TRY AND LEAVE A MARK. MIGHT BE A SMALL ONE, BUT IT STILL COUNTS.

For a true soldier, the real battle unfolds inside their mind. If they desire a new life, a new mind is needed, as well as hard work day and night, tirelessly, with no excuses and leavingbehind past habits. A soldier firmly accepts the sweat of his sacrifice, fighting, planning, overcoming fear and pursuing their dreams at all costs. A soldier uses all their capacity, as well as total conviction to persevere in the face of any adversity. This way, no extreme or difficult circumstance will affect their focus. A soldier doesn’t use their weapons in vain and doesn’t pay attention to what other people say, because what really matters is the conviction and faith in the mind. The real threat is in what you say and believe about your abilities.

Military trained people faithfully believe that every person in the world should be productive. Unfortunately, not all of them are so. But it’s not that bad, since those who decide to do things differently, will be recognized. And humans need recognition to strengthen their conviction and to feel that the price of success is worth all the sacrifices. Desire it, declare it and state it, and with the faith in God, in yourself and the transformation of your mind, you will achieve it, without a doubt.

How to handle criticismin order to be successful? Focusing on the OneLife project, this is the clearest answer for Jose Gordo. Many times, people spend the whole day trying to understand if a comment is truthful, or looking for more information to see who they can trust, so they forget to turn to the real source of information for their business. The company provides the tools for us to understand perfectly the vision of this project. So, inform yourself well, in an intelligent way. Study that material and understand what you have in your hands.

“Fear is something that jams you up and limits you, making it impossible for you to keep moving forward. It makes you perceive everything in a negative way. Therefore, you must learn to control your fear. Currently, at our OneLife company, we are experiencing major changes and international challenges, adapting to each of the regulations of the countries. However, these two are nothing, if you don’t have the right attitude. You will need positive and winning attitude, focused on everything related to your happiness, whether it’s about family, work, success, relationships, children, etc.

Fear is a stealthy enemy. Through his life experience, this successful entrepreneur has been able to realize that there is a very dangerous enemy for people. This is fear. Fear significantly affects your life and the decision-making capability.

In addition, let yourself be guided by the leaders who already have the conviction of how to work in this industry, with results that prove it. Apply a formula of success to improve any area of your life: Value = (knowledge + skills) attitude This formula defines the value you give to your life. “These are also reasons for people to panic, because they are afraid of change. Analyzing it from that perspective, fear is the most damaging thing in the development of your project. I understand that people feel fear. I remember that in my beginnings, when I was presented with the project in Dubai, I felt that fear invaded me, but this was because of the lack of information, the novelty of the company, and I couldn’t get many of the concepts clearly and didn’t understand the technology behind cryptocurrencies. But I remembered that trusting my decisions and facing my fears had allowed me great achievements. The most difficult challenges also make you much stronger. So I focus on solutions. I started a process of overcoming my fear. I listened to people who had more experience and understand the concept and the business model. I received some guidelines from mentors for the development of a network marketing business at a different level. The fundamental thing for me was to realize that I needed to know how, in what way and when to overcome my fears. This allowed me to take a step and to work continuously, doing something every day in order to change. I developed some new habits, such as watching webinars regularly, feeding my mind with correct information, attending all

kinds of company events, watching videos of the founder and the visionary of this concept, attending team leadership training. This way, I managed to gradually overcome my fears and doubts. That’s how I got where I am today. By applying what I mentioned above, you will achieve professional stability and open your mind to changes. GLOBAL LEADERSHIP GROUP:

THE FIERCE DEFENCE OF VALUES IN

NETWORK MARKETING.

Network marketing is an industry where millions of success stories are created each year, making it an important platform for personal development and an effective business school, although it still presents some challenges and hasn’t yet been fully accepted in society. We must be aware that this is one of the most appropriate industries for people to be able to discover and to develop their true potential, an occupation where one can learn about sales, professional relationships, protocol, administration and finance and, at the same time, acquire personal skills that can be useful in their private lives. OneLife is one of the leading companies in the network marketing industry, especially because of its ardent loyalty to core human values, which makes possible an effective interaction beneficial for all parties. But the greatest value existing in OneLife is found in people, since they are the ones who make possible every step that is taken and every goal that is achieved. OneLife members are more than just partners: they are part of an identity, a culture and a common feeling greater than any of us. The company creates products and tools, but it is the people who turn them into a revolution, who take it to the next level. With this beautiful concept, the Global Leadership Group is born, commonly known as GLG: a group of leaders who have created a movement around the basic values that every person, and especially, every network marketing leader should have. The time has come to standardize and propagate what the intentions of the true OneLife leadership are so as

to guide all the people who want to be part of this company, as well as to vehemently reject and penalize any unethical, uncommitted and harmful behaviour in our community. One of the main purposes of the Group is to pave the way for networkers in this industry and to promote the network marketing business in society as a real work alternative, instructing the members of the OneLife community and unifying their action protocols in order to be able to correct possible mistakes and to prevent activities that go against both established policies and common core values. The GLG is, above all, a way to work with an absolute integrity. With transparency and embracing values, among which above all the responsibility, the respect, the commitment and the vocation of service towards the team stand out. Leaders from all over the world are joining this group, vowing to live and work with unbreakable values and thus to become examples for their organizations, as well as for the rest of the world. At the head of this movement, we have Frank Ricketts, who became the Global Network Consultant last December, and Jens Laustsen, a coach and a professional networker, taking on the role of consultant and educator. Both take very seriously the mission of educating and raising awareness of our global teams to be even better professionals, but above all, better people, giving specialized training sessions in every corner of the world where OneLife is present.

The vast majority of our leaders of the highest ranks, Crown Diamonds, Black Diamonds, Blue Diamonds and many Diamonds are already proud members of this group with a humanist philosophy against a world of rough competition. As has been said before, the network marketing industry still presents some challenges and has some disadvantages that can even generate rejection in society. But the reason for this distrustful perception is a recipe composed of three main ingredients: the lack of initiative towards entrepreneurship, the “lottery mindset and unethical practices or lack of commitment on the part of industry members.

26 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

The lack of initiative in terms of entrepreneurship is related to the so called attachment to the comfort zone. People do what they have been taught to and work the way they have been told to, without thinking even a little of their personal goals, as well as fearing the risks of becoming their own bosses. The sense of fear still takes over when people are told about new and different projects where the concept of a fixed salary doesn’t exist, although sales commissions could be much higher for a single month than they could earn in a year.

This mindset can be drastically changed by education and, most importantly, by demonstrating with actions, facts and figures that there is nothing to be afraid of. Of course, taking the step is not easy, and neither is getting your business to prosper. It entails effort and personal development, in which many people are not willing to engage, mostly, because of the fear that their efforts are in vain or of facing situations which they are not familiar with. Hence, surely, the popular saying “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” is very present in such discussions as it is still a too widespread opinion. The second biggest challenge this industry faces is the “lottery mindset”, which means that many people approach the opportunity of the company thinking that they buy a winning lottery ticket for instant wealth which they won’t have to do anything for. All the companies that were created and grew in this industry have witnessed the situation when associates would sign up full of emotion, thinking only of how easy it would be to make money, and then would leave after a short while as they didn’t get rich instantaneously. We must also combat this perception with actions as simple as offering the opportunity with honesty. Show with the word and example that there is no miraculous formula for a life of success, but one needs a clear plan, effort, hard work, commitment, dedication and the willingness to learn. And the third element and the one that hurts us the most is the existence of an “empty” leadership

without commitment. Those people climb the career ladder in a company more or less quickly thanks to an appropriate strategy and personal skills that allow them to communicate with people effectively and to sell an idea. They can be very good sellers, but they lack responsibility and commitment to the team and don’t provide the organizations they create with sufficient long-term support, which may lead to their dissolution. Sometimes, these people are focused on getting clients to sign up, rather than on creating long-term relationships, making up a team and travel together the road to success. Such kind of sponsors would often promote the business as an aforementioned “winning lottery ticket”, thus spreading a wrong perception of the industry. Over its three years of operation and throughout all the countries it is present in, OneLife has encountered challenges of all kinds, especially because of the fact that its main mission is somewhat inconvenient for official entities and large financial structures. The latter isn’t a big surprise, as the company’s initiative is related to offering an alternative system that in the long term will make it possible for people not to depend on banks and other intermediaries. But what is really frustrating is to welcome leaders who lack personal values, above all, integrity, and therefore not only focus their work on their own benefit, but also, with their unethical behaviour, damage the reputation of the company and make other people misinterpret its vision. But OneLife has always been clear that, first of all, it should be a company created by people and for people, and now, it has become one of the most priority tasks for each one of us to make it clear that without core values, there is no success for anybody. And the GLG stands in the front of the OneLife Company now to guide its members towards an even stronger and more exemplary leadership, to polish those small imperfections and to improve and maintain the image of our beloved network marketing industry.

SIMON LE SUCCESS COMES AS A RESULT OF HELPING OTHERS

ACHIEVE IT Today, we have the honour of talking about a man who inspires thousands of people to work for a better world. Simon Le is a leader of great global reference thanks to his hard work in the network marketing industry, where he has made a significant difference by impacting hundreds or thousands of lives with the OneLife project, and he managed to do that from scratch, for it’s his first experience working in network marketing. This shows how determination and massive action can create wonderful things and break paradigms with only faith, selfconfidence and the ability to stay focused on a clear purpose. In this interview, you can read in his words that Simon Le is a man who is passionate about the service and social impact and who through his efforts seeks to generate better conditions for the world we live in. Hence, in Simon’s definition, success is a result of helping others succeed, and happiness comes from this kind of success and is spread though a chain reaction, thus generating transformation at a global level.

Transforming people’s lives is exactly what we do in the MLM industry. Network marketing is one of the best vehicles to generate change, since it is all about people. For Simon, the key is to understand human beings and thus be able to work with them creatively. However, in order to be effective in the development of this business, there must be a strategic plan that would allow guiding those who trust your words. When you make the decision to undertake this project, it is important to stay focused. Focus as a fundamental characteristic that each networker needs so as to work professionally, productively, successfully. Simon’s example to his team is a 110% dedication to this business. This time, we can enjoy an interview that gives us a glimpse of what Simon Le’s life strategies have been like to create a great legacy he can offer the world today. OLM IMA: What would you say to someone

who has seen your rise to success and tries to follow in your footsteps, but still cannot achieve the same results? Now, you are a mentor of many. How do you feel about that? SL: For me, one of the qualities necessary to be a good leader is the ability to listen. As networkers, from our beginnings, we have the role of leaders, so we must act with responsibility and

“There is no other way but to work committed at 100% to creating change in our lives. Success does not come by chance, you create it day by day.

professionalism. Listen to both the achievements and failures of your team, make it clear to every member of your organization that “there are no shortcuts to success”, as Malcolm Gladwell said. To achieve success and overcome challenges, you need hard work, perseverance and consistency. I know that many don’t have enough patience to follow the path, and this is sad, but I’m aware that the best way to help someone else is to be honest and tell them the truth, without lies or omissions. There is no other way but to work with one hundred percent commitment to creating change in our lives. You don’t achieve success by chance, you create it day by day. OLM IMA: Simon Le feels really proud that there are many people who believe in him and see him as a mentor, and from his gratitude, he declares his commitment in teaching those people everything they need to achieve their goals.

We have heard in some of your presentations that you have a careful and systematic organization with the members of your team. How important is that planning to achieve success like yours? SL: Duplication is everything in this industry and it’s also part of Simon Le’s commitment to helping others achieve their goals. When Simon trains his team, he strives to show the best version of himself, to impact peoples’ lives and to transform their minds, and this is only possible when things are done with excellence. Duplication consists in identifying other people with great results and following their example and their experience. Learning from great leaders is the most important part, and you must have the humility to respect those who have already achieved success and learn from them the necessary skills and the strategies applied when creating large structures and generating significant results in this industry. Sometimes, we think we can do it our way, take shortcuts, but the truth is that things are only done right with effort and dedication. It’s not magic, it’s just discipline. OLM IMA: Simon is a leader who gives, as he said earlier, his 110% dedication to his business. He takes the necessary time to personally train the members of his team and to listen carefully to the needs of those around him. Simon’s life goal is related to educating and training his team in order to develop this project professionally, without any excuse, and for that, he has created a structured system that allows everybody to achieve success. This system consists in learning, applying and repeating. Simon guides others over the path he has already travelled and reached the top by applying the knowledge from his mentors.

How do you see the cryptocurrency industry, in general, at this time? What evolution do you think it still needs? SL: The introduction of digital currencies has a paramount importance for the world, but they are still very young. 2017 is considered the year of ICO, and 2018 will be the year of regulation of cryptocurrency. You cannot cover the sun with a finger. The Internet has changed many industries, and we speak about the changes that we were not even able to imagine a few years ago. The world didn’t have but to adapt to them. Changes in life are extremely necessary as they help improve. Normally, when a revolution occurs, it is because society needs it, and if we dig a little deeper into the subject of cryptocurrencies in the world, we will realize that they are really necessary so as to restructure the current financial system and to provide a higher quality of life to people. The important thing is to think about how to contribute and not how to judge, how to take advantage and not how to attack, and in this way, we can make use of the new trends in the world. OLM IMA: This year, as Simon Le said, countries are adapting to the financial revolution, and the governments even think about having their own digital currencies. This also means that we can expect clear and appropriate regulations that would allow a tax framework to give confidence to entrepreneurs and create a greater shift in the world economies. Vietnam is not different from the rest of the countries for which cryptocurrencies are a very new issue, and each country will take its own time to accept them in their financial system. Surely, the laws will do their job. However, DealShaker is a tool that significantly increases the value of OneCoin, since it currently allows us to use our currency to exchange goods and services.

As an accountant, do you think that the popularization of financial education would completely change professions such as accountant or financial manager? SL: Definitely. With the Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, there is more transparency and automation in the accounting field. Investors are more confident in reporting data through the Blockchain of the company and can consider this when making any decisions about their investment. They are less and less dependent on the current and formal auditing reports now, which may reflect manipulated sales and profit figures to attract investment.

With the help of some accounting and financial applications, you can easily navigate and look for the right advice or consultation on your business matters. With the right financial education, people will optimize their business decision-making after collecting and analyzing all available data and information with the huge support of Blockchain. OLM IMA: What has been the best thing about

changing your previous job for network marketing, beyond the obvious? SL: Freedom in time and finances is the most appreciated pleasure that Simon Le has obtained working in this industry. This has allowed him to significantly increase the quality of his life and that of his family. Also, now, having enough time and money has made it possible for Simon to see the world, to travel together with his wife and to do things he had always wanted. He values a lot the freedom he earned by working to make more people achieve their financial freedom. This type of benefits is achieved with a lot of effort and dedication, and then, it is very rewarding to enjoy the results of the whole process and all the sacrifices and challenges overcome. The price of success is quite high, but the satisfaction of achieving it is even bigger. It is important to mention that it may take hard work to achieve great goals, but those goals will be sustainable over time, as they have been achieved professionally and with a structured approach. In addition, while working on those results and improving our life conditions, we also reprogram our mind and learn how to receive and manage our achievements, so we appreciate that new lifestyle and lead it with responsibility. OLM IMA: Being a Crown Diamond should

have taken you to many places in the world, and OneLife is present in the vast majority of countries. What place haven’t you seen yet and wish to visit? SL: Yes, I enjoy travelling and meeting with many friends around the world. There are still many places that I haven’t been to yet. My wife has bought a scratch world map to mark places that I have travelled to. I would like to have a chance to travel to Africa, especially Egypt, where they have a unique culture and architecture. Also, Brazil is on my wish list of countries to visit because it has produced so many great football teams and players. During my childhood, I cried hard when I watched them lose a game.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

OLM IMA: As a Crown Diamond, there are

hardly any challenges for you. Do you set new goals to create emotion or to force yourself to grow as a leader? Would you tell us about some of them? SL: In my opinion, the higher the ranking, the tougher the challenges, as my goals are also bigger. It may not necessarily be my own challenge, but I am responsible for a big team. Their challenges are also mine. I often share with my team: “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” – by John F. Kennedy. The same philosophy can be applied to OneLife/OneCoin, where we all are a part of the community and work together to create a higher value for products and services: Ask not what your company/community can do for you, ask what you can do for your company/community.” My next goals are: • To work towards more OneLife Network leaders becoming GLG (Global Leadership Group) members, as they set a high standard of responsible leadership in our network with the slogan “All for One and One For All.” • To improve the financial literature of our leaders, who can maintain and expand their current and future wealth to many upcoming generations while motivating them to continue to participate in the growth of our OneLife Network. • To give back to society through the OneWorld Foundation. Some of OLN Vietnam’s goals are listed as building at least 1,000 bridges in the countryside by the year 2020 and creating a thousand monthly scholarships for students from low-income backgrounds. • To publish a series of books about OneLife, entitled “OneLife - my own story,” which captures some real experiences and motivational stories of successful members and leaders. Hopefully, it will help change the mindset of other members and people around the world. When members have the right attitude and mindset, they will overcome all obstacles and work toward becoming successful networkers. All profits from selling these books will go to our charity fund. OLM IMA: You have done a very important

job with the OneWorld Foundation, tell us a little more about this, so we can encourage more networkers and company affiliates to contribute to the project. SL: First, I must say I have always admired Dr. Ruja’s vision of including CHARITY as part of the OneLife ecosystem. I believe this is the key to connect our members together. Yes, OneLife has been a great opportunity to change our lives. It is our turn to give back to society and change others’ lives.

Together with my leaders, we have set big goals: to build 1000 bridges for poor villages across Vietnam and to support scholarship to needed students. Along the way, there are leaders who lead their own projects and start raising funds to build charity shelters, provide typhoon aids, New Year gifts to the elderly and poor students, etc. The more we engage in meaningful work, the stronger is our team bonding. Not just for the Vietnam team alone, we are lucky enough to get many international members to support us through these meaningful projects. When we do good things, best luck will bring back to you.

OLM IMA: Finally, we look to the future. How

do you see OneLife in the coming years? SL: • Currently, the OneLife network has nearly 3,4 million members. I believe this number will skyrocket, replete with educated and wealthy networks. • OneLife will produce many great leaders worldwide under the excellent consultation of Frank Ricketts, who has had 44 years of experience in the MLM industry. We are reorganizing for a better, more professional network by standardizing training of all kinds. • Many future products and services will be selected and brought into this huge, loyal and wealthy network. • OneLife will grow to be one of the biggest MLM companies for many more years and will continue to impact many people’s lives around the world.

SUCCESS IS REPETITION

AND EMOTIONAL

INVOLVEMENT

STAFFAN LIBACK We can say that Staffan Liback was a true visionary and a pioneer, since he joined OneCoin from the very beginning, when the project had just been conceived. Staffan was one of the first people who contributed to the explosion of leadership throughout the world. The OneLife Network, as we know it today, exists because that day, Staffan decided that it was the best way to create something great. And so he did: Liback and the Steinkeller brothers were, together, the founders of the most extensive team in the network marketing industry: OneDreamTeam. More than 20 years ago, Staffan Liback started to study a career that would challenge him and force him to become a better person. A lot has changed in his life since then, especially, since he discovered network marketing. But the essence of what led Staffan to make that decision is still very much alive in him. From these two decades of involvement and commitment, Staffan has gained a very rich experience and a deep understanding of the business and the industry, which has made him one of the most outstanding networkers, mentors and coaches in personal development of this decade. For many of us, Staffan is the kind of upline that we aspire to become. And in order to have success and, especially, the wisdom that this leader has achieved, it is essential to understand his vision of the industry, the company and even of our own thoughts. OLM IMA: You were one of the first to believe in this project, in those days when everything was a vision for the future. Tell us two fundamental things that made you decide to develop this long-term project.

When I heard about the opportunity of OneCoin, I was busy with other projects and I didn’t understand what it was all about, how the value could be created and other things. Because of that, I wasn’t too interested, but I remember very well that one of my good friends explained me something about a split, and he told me that he had made some amount of money, so I started listening. I realized that I had been looking for an opportunity like this. From that moment on, I started investigation about what digital currencies were, what OneCoin was. I got interested, but interest is not enough. What made me actually take the decision were the founders behind it who explained the strategy to me about creating usability, about the possibility of sending and receiving money worldwide, faster, cheaper, more secure. I realized that it was the future, and I wanted to be part of that future. I also understood that combining this product with network marketing was the way to go. This is really the way to reach huge amounts of people around the globe and give them the opportunity to learn about cryptocurrency, financial tools and trading. I wanted to take this opportunity to people and also benefit my leaders and myself. I had leaders who needed to make money, and this was a huge opportunity for them. Looking back, four years later, it was the right choice. And now, I really look forward to seeing what else is going to happen, I want to be involved and also contribute to what is going to happen in October, when the launch of the coin on the public market. Let’s work and see what will happen, but also make our own future and not let other people make it for us.

The word “problem” comes from Latin and means “before solution”. And I learned to see problems and obstacles as “before solutions”.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

OLM IMA: How does it feel to be a legend because of having created and being part of the most famous network marketing team in the world, which is OneDreamTeam? What was your main objective when thinking about making up this great team?

something negative, it’s just something to overcome. This is personal development: you become able to overcome things that earlier, you thought were impossible to overcome. So, create a habit. Once it’s done, the rest will be easy.

SL: First of all, I would like to point out that I don’t see myself as any kind of legend, but on the other hand, I’m extremely happy to have been given the opportunity during my years in MLM and network marketing to affect people and change their lives for the better.

OLM IMA: Networkers make a difference, taking into account that their effort comes to impact thousands of lives. Likewise, you bear a giant responsibility guiding those who believed in your vision and turning them into agents of change. How do you feel about this role that is so relevant to society? What is your contribution now, after having gained so many personal achievements?

I think that the only way to get successful is by building leadership, and it is always easier to build leadership, when people feel attached to something, when they feel that they belong to something. And it is also important for a company to develop team work. Many MLM companies are focused on their product, while we focus on team building and educating people. It is the most sustainable way, and this is what we do at OneDreamTeam. I’m happy to see people not only improve their financial situation, but also gain friends and develop personally. It’s not only about financial success, but also about other types of success, it’s about so called “social capital”. This is my main objective: to give people a home and a team. OLM IMA: What is going to happen to OneDreamTeam from now on, what are the plans? SL: As I have already pointed out, OneDreamTeam in a home for people, not a corporation. We are not corporate, we are a team. So, OneDreamTeam will keep working, as it has done up to date, and we help it grow, we help everybody take the next step. We use blogs and video production, but we also incentivize our team members, for example, we organize reward trips and retreats for people who hit certain ranks, and we’ll keep doing this, not only until October, but far beyond. My wish and my vision for OneDreamTeam is that this team would exist and operate for years, maybe decades or even generations. OLM IMA: Consistency and persistence are important characteristics to achieve success in the MLM industry. We know that you have developed these skills to the fullest. Tell us how you did it, how you made each challenge or obstacle seem so easy and managed to overcome them? SL: There are no shortcuts to this. It is all about changing your mindset about what a problem is. One of the things I learned and remember very well is the lesson from one of my mentors about the word “problem”, which comes from Latin and means “before solution”. And this is what I started telling myself and that changed me. And I learned to see problems and obstacles as “before solutions”. To reprogram yourself, to change your way of thinking, there are only two things needed: repetition and emotional involvement. If you keep telling you things, you will start believing them and acting accordingly. This is why I don’t use the word “problem”, I prefer saying “before solution”, because it makes me remember that a problem is not

SL: Yes, I agree, we have a big responsibility. There was an article some time ago, I think the title was “Take your re-sponsor-bility”. And in this article, I could find many things I had learned during my years in network marketing. It is not our responsibility to make people succeed, it is to give them the tools to make them able to succeed. We cannot make people successful, they have to have their own need and desire to do so, but we can help them develop over time. But we do have the responsibility for explain the opportunity to people in the right way. You have to give them a goal and a vision, so that they could see themselves succeeding, but it’s up to them to take action and do things. We are sponsors, we don’t recruit people, we teach them and let them copy what we do. So, our responsibility is to give them the keys and tools, help them with the planning and remind them why they started all this. I want to point it out again, it is not our responsibility to make people succeed, because this needs to come from them, but it is our responsibility to teach them how it’s done. These are two different things. I use a kind of a slogan: thought – feeling – action – result. I do my best to teach everyone who gets started that it all begins with how you think: the good news is that it is something you can change, as well as your habits, with repetition and emotional involvement. OLM IMA: You say that the key to success in the lives of many brilliant minds was the ability to create a winning team. What are the main prerequisites to make up a team in this category? SL: This is a very good question. I personally believe that it has to do with the ego. Many people try to build teams where they would be the boss, the most brilliant mind. I think that the more people you can find who are better than you in different aspects, the more success you will get. In my opinion, there are two types of egos. One is a negative one, which will destroy your progress. And there is a positive one. The difference is that with the negative ego, you think about yourself, and with the positive ego is when you can be proud of your achievements through the team. It’s all about uplifting the people you work with.

OLM IMA: Many people have a bad understanding of the MLM industry, according to your opinion. That being the case, can you describe in a few words which would be the correct idea of the MLM industry? SL: Yes, you’re totally right about this. Many people see this industry as a pyramid, like there is a dictator at the top and other big leaders who always win and earn a lot of money, taken from the people. And in reality, it is totally opposite to it. What I explain to those people who don’t know what MLM is, is that it can be opposed to most sports in the sense of that when playing sport, one team has to lose in order for the other team to win. In MLM, it’s completely different, the opposite: the more people you help to win, to achieve success, the more you will gain yourself. So, the faster you can change your mindset into helping other people achieve their goals, the closer you will be to achieving yours. Here is an example: if I want to get, say, two (as a value), I need to find people who want to make smaller parts of that value and to help them get it. So, it’s about teamwork and helping other people win and fulfil their dreams. This is how one can succeed in MLM in the long term. OLM IMA: If I had to choose a mentor who has changed your life, who would they be and what are the reasons for this choice? What are the tips you have taken from this mentor for your work? SL: I cannot give you a single name, because there have been many mentors in my life who have made the difference between losing and winning. Those

Every person who enters my life changes it in some way, and I owe my success to all those people.

people know that I talk about them, I’m sure. I think, at every meeting you have, you can learn something. Our job is to learn. It’s not about thinking that we know everything. We learn every day, and the moment we think we don’t need to learn any more, we will start loosing. One of my favourite quotes goes like this: “Life consists of lessons. If you don’t learn from these lessons, they will get harder.” I like this quote because it describes how life works. So, there are many mentors, not only one, probably, hundreds of them. Every person who enters my life changes it in some way, and I owe my success to all those people. OLM IMA: It’s not a secret for anybody that OneLife has faced some intense attacks by the media and the Internet. You, however, remain true and loyal to the project; tell us what the reasons are to stay firm and how you see yourself within the OneLife organization over the next 5 years? SL: The answer is 3,4 million people, members of the OneLife community. As leaders, we bear a responsibility, and I still believe in the project, so it would be crazy not to stay true to it. I mean, every new thing that happens, OneLife, OneCoin, is about being a pioneer in this industry. So, of course we have “before solutions”, but the solution is not to go and look at a “greener grass next door”. Many times, people don’t understand the projects, they don’t understand what we do, they don’t see where we’re going. So, for me, it’s quite simple: I need to take care of my organization. I have a responsibility to my organization, so for me, the choice is clear.

OLM IMA: According to the latest World Happiness report, published by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, the Nordic countries lead the list of happiness, while countries hit by war, conflicts, social, economic and political problems are seen in the last lines. Do you believe that networkers, who bring personal development to people and impact so many lives, could work in those unhappy countries and change the course of history, for example with our financial education project? SL: I really love this question. I think there would be no wars and conflicts, if everybody had enough for their personal growth and development. Once you start thinking about other and help them, then you get your reward from it. And in such situation, you don’t have this urge to fight with other people anymore. Most people fight with each other because they don’t understand how they can change and be happy, that by helping other people, you get your own happiness. It’s a good question, and the answer is very simple: I think our world lacks personal development, and this is why we have so many conflicts. OLM IMA: We know that you are a full-time entrepreneur also in the traditional sector. How do you manage to run both industries and reach a successful balance? How do you develop your role and manage your time in these industries and also in your personal life? SL: I think I’m probably a workaholic. I used to say that I was going to work till this stage, achieve it and then retire, but I have come to know myself better by now, and also my family and friends know me better. I enjoy being a little bit too busy. But it also has to do with putting the right people in their right place. It is not about you and your team, it’s about us. For each and every project I get involved in, I try to find the right person to run it. I only advise, and this takes some of the workload from my shoulders. This is probably the easiest way of explaining it: building team in every sector and finding the right people to lead them, people who are maybe smarter than you in that area. And I’m happy to be still very involved in it. My family understands who I am. When I was younger, I tried to deny who I was, but with time and age, you learn to stay true to yourself and people around you, so for me, the retirement would be madness, because I know I would not be happy. Maybe, two days would be enough, and then I would be back again, because I get bored easily. OLM IMA: What are the most important books you have read and specifically, what tools did you get from them to improve your life, personally and/or professionally? SL: I got involved in network marketing in 2000, and at first, it went pretty much alright, but then I failed brutally. And the reason was that I didn’t understand the industry, I didn’t understand personal development. With any kind of business or hobby, you need to understand it first in order to become successful. Once I realized that, I invested a lot of time and money, and I still do, in personal development and learning things. I’m like a sponge, I absorb information, and I enjoy these processes:

learning things and analyzing them. But the book that really impacted me was “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. I read it first in 2000, and since then, I’ve read it again several times, maybe like 30 times, last time a few months ago. And every time I read this book, I realize that it’s a fantastic book. If you haven’t read it yet, you should read it “yesterday”, because it will totally change your life. OLM IMA: Do you have a hobby that you are passionate about and that make your life better? SL: Yes, I have hobbies, of course. One of my hobbies is golf, which I’m very passionate about. The reason for me to be very passionate about golf is that it’s about your mind: you compete with yourself. And it also takes your mind off other things, because when you hit the golf ball, it makes you focus on only that. If you try to focus on something else at this moment, you will not succeed. And golf is also interesting because it’s about the muscle memory. You don’t need to be especially strong to play it, you need to do the same all the time, to do repetition. It’s the same as changing your habits: repetition and emotional involvement, so you will become good at golf. One of the golf legends says “it’s funny how luck seems to improve with repetition.” I find it interesting: luck improves with some practice. And it’s the same in golf, in life and in business. OLM IMA: If today you could fulfil three dreams, what would these be? SL: Everybody has their dreams and hopes, although some people don’t realize them. I’m getting a bit older, I get 44 soon, which is different from being 24, for example. So, for me, it’s about my family right now, about giving them the future they deserve, that’s what I’m working on every day. I also have more materialistic goals. I have goals related to my family, my children, to myself as well, but also to the network. And speaking about the network, this year, before we go public, I want to achieve 5 million members before that date, and then we could add one more zero to that number, which will be the customers. This is my business goal. I hope everybody understands what kind of opportunity they sit on, and I believe many other people will go crazy when they see our future possibilities. But remember to only focus on achieving your dreams by helping other people to achieve theirs. It is not important what other people do or think, it is you who is important. The person in the mirror that you see in the morning and in the evening – this is what really matters. We have our families and our friends, but you should focus on your things. You have to have very clear about what you want. Because when you have a “why”, the “how” becomes very easy. And it’s also easy to change your habits, and those habits will make you successful (or not successful, but you choose). And it comes down to repetition and emotional involvement. And when the things get bad or tough, remember the “problem=before solution” thing, it will help you every time. I wish you success on your journey and I’ll see you at the top.

LUCA MIATTON

THE GREATEST DEALSHAKER EXPERT IN THE WORLD Luca has been an entrepreneur all his life, and he can say that nothing has ever stopped him from taking a risk if he saw a real opportunity. Over the last two decades, Luca has worked in sales, finance, politics, as well as being a prolific businessman. That is why his experience is an important factor in fully understanding the impact that DealShaker has on both OneLife members worldwide and on the economy itself, local and international one. With his experience and his vision, Luca has managed to create a commercial phenomenon in Italy, despite the difficult times that the users and the associates have gone through in that country. He has shown that OneCoin is already a 100% usable and useful payment method and that it has the power to re-launch businesses and change entire cities.

OLM IMA: Although DealShaker is your first

time working with cryptocurrencies, you have experience as an entrepreneur and also in the world of finance. Can you tell us a little more about that experience? LM: I started to undertake from a very young age.

As a teenager, I had my first initiatives, and in my twenties, I launched one of my first serious business projects. However, I suffered a great failure at 25 and had to start over. But failures are the prelude to success; they are necessary to have real and long-term success, because that is a success that you build from experience. Failures help you grow and understand better your greatest virtues, as well as what you should improve. So yes, I had to try again, and I know that without that failure and without my will to overcome it and rise up again, nothing that happened afterwards and nothing I have built would have been possible. In 1994, I found out about network marketing for the first time and decided to be an entrepreneur in that industry too, and the truth is that I obtained very good results at the companies that I worked for. It also allowed me to invest in other projects: for example, in 2004, I bought a building in Verona. Meanwhile, I was running two other companies and some real estate services. But in 2008, there was a great economic crisis, and since then, all my efforts were focused on trying to save and revive businesses that had been affected by the crisis. It was a really difficult time, but I didn’t allow any of my projects to fall completely, at least not because I would stop trying. Due to this economic scenario, I started to get interested in companies that bet on financial alternatives, businesses related to credit cards and so on. And this is how I first heard about OneCoin/ OneLife: a company that offered an alternative means of payment and valuable information so as to understand the structure of our finances, in particular, for example, why there are crises such as the one that affected us in 2008.

I didn’t allow any of my projects to fall completely, at least not because I would stop trying.

OLM IMA: So, you decided to join? What factor

OLM IMA: What motivated you to dedicate

or feature of the project helped you make the decision?

yourself so passionately to the trading platform in such a way that you are now one of the biggest DealShaker experts in the world? Does your own experience as an entrepreneur and trader play a part in this?

LM: At first, what attracted me was the opportunity

to have an alternative currency that would always have value and usability. Soon after, I began to see the full potential. And today I know for sure that it is a concept that has the power to re-launch economies and create jobs. Four months passed from the moment I learned about OneLife and until I decided to really get involved in the project. As I said, I was considering several possibilities that had to do with finances at the same time, but it was the high profits that many associates were already generating that ended up tipping the scales, and I decided to act. On May 1, 2016, I gave my first presentation of the business. I found this idea absolutely fascinating, and I also knew people who were very excited about it and doing very well. But the real understanding of what this meant came to me at the London event in 2016. The experience was amazing, I could have a much clearer idea about the vision of Dr. Ruja Ignatova for this project and decided that nothing was going to stop me. And so it was, I committed myself to this vision at all times, especially, in the most difficult ones. OLM IMA: As for that potential you are talking

about, and from your experience, what is the real impact of OneLife on our economy? LM: Speaking from my own experience as a

networker, I can say that I made good profits. As a OneCoin user, I have accumulated millions of coins. And thanks to that, I was able to buy some properties, such as a boat, paid at 100% in OneCoins, and another hotel: the Hotel Cangrande, with 58 rooms. The hotel was also paid in OneCoins. That hotel, obviously, also means another business in operation and a multitude of job positions that were created only thanks to OneLife. In addition to that, we are developing humanitarian projects: a hospital, a church and a school have been built, and we have about 2000 hectares of land in South Africa where we plan to build a small city. I consider myself a visionary and the more I dream, the more I realize the importance of dreams, of believing in them and of surrounding yourself with people who share your same vision, so that it can become a reality. And OneLife has become a great platform to turn those visions and dreams into a reality.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

LM: My experience has contributed a lot to realizing

the potential of the platform: as an entrepreneur and a good visionary, I knew that if I published offers of my business, knowing the strength, the size and the outreach of the OneLife community, it would reach many people around the world. So I decided to try and see how it would go. One night, I posted a thousand of coupons per sector in which I had a business. I was still in the process of re-launching those businesses and had the vision that DealShaker could help me in that endeavour. What I didn’t expect were the shocking results I had in only a few months. Since then, it has been an authentic revolution. From June 2017 until today, more than seventeen thousand people have redeemed DealShaker coupons in my stores, in many of them, the services were fully paid in OneCoins. And I think that, with that initiative and the results that I have had, I have made a great contribution to the growth of DealShaker a year after its launch. OLM IMA: A question out of curiosity: what kind

of products or services do you think work best on the platform? Is there a particular market or region that embraces this service and this type of payments more easily according to what we can see on DealShaker? LM: I don’t think there is one product that works

better than another. In Verona, we have restaurants, hotels, glasses and sunglasses stores, car wash service, tattoo studios, dental clinics, computer services, cosmetics, health, shoe stores and even funeral services. On the platform, you can find everything in other parts of the country and the continent: from cars to aromatic soaps, and we can see how each day, people buy, sell, rent and hire services. I’ve seen other traders upload to the platform their offers for cars, phones or even travel plans, and the offer would last only a few minutes before it ran out. It’s something really amazing that shows that this platform works and there are no limits. The philosophy of the platform is that there is room for all kinds of businesses from all over the world. And nowadays, buying online or per telephone is not such a rare thing. The difference is only in paying using cryptocurrency or presenting the screen of your mobile phone with the coupon at the establishment, instead of taking out the wallet. But

in the future, everyone will pay in cryptocurrency and get used to this way of paying. Behind the fiat money, there is nothing left... only speculation and commissions. It is hard for us to admit it, but basically everybody knows it. IMA: In fact, electronic commerce is increasingly present in our lives. Ebay, Amazon... and of course, deal platforms like Groupon. DealShaker can compete with Groupon thanks to the advantages it offers to merchants in terms of commissions. But what is the advantage for the user compared to, for example, Ebay or Aliexpress? OLM

LM: The world has changed dramatically in recent

years: the economy, the way we communicate and buy, all thanks to the popularization of the Internet, smartphones and of course, electronic commerce. Groupon was something innovative at that time, but DealShaker represents an alternative to this idea. DealShaker boasts clear and significant advantages and principles very different from those of Groupon. While the latter charges very high commissions to merchants, DealShaker is an updated version, not only for the use of cryptocurrency as a preferred method of payment, but also for the fact that it gives more freedom of self-management to merchants and doesn’t

From June 2017 until today, more “than seventeen thousand people have redeemed DealShaker coupons in my stores, in many of them, the services were fully paid in OneCoins.

charge such high commissions. Anyone who tries it once will see the benefits right away. But in addition to the issue of commissions, I believe that a very important advantage that every merchant has at this platform is the visibility, the exposure. No matter what you sell, there is someone who is part of a virally interconnected community looking to buy it and will see your offer. There are more than one hundred countries that already have a good number of affiliated businesses, with a user community of almost three and a half million people. In my premises, I often receive clients from South America, Western Europe and Central Europe, Africa and even Asia, and many times, they are people who preferred my place to another one, because mine appeared on DealShaker. In all my restaurants, you can have a meal and pay the bill entirely in OneCoins. Sometimes, those tourists recommend my place to others, even if they were not part of the community, and those pay in Euro. They come because I already got the exposure of my business to a new audience. So, your business goes from being local or national to international, with advertising on a global level and without almost having to spend any money on that advertising.

OLM IMA: Do you think the way DealShaker works

OLM IMA: Let’s talk about Italy. We know that it

will change once the currency reaches the public market? Are you worried that ONE might have fluctuations in prices, and this might affect purchases and sales once the currency market enters the equation?

has been a very good market for DealShaker, and you yourself have businesses in Italy that accept payments in OneCoin. Was it affected by the injunction against operations in ONE? How did networkers and traders of Italian DealShaker handle that difficult period? Have businesses been affected?

LM: I don’t think the way we are already using it

will change too much. I think ONE is going to be a much more stable currency because it has been created for this purpose. The most stable one. It is a currency for people, which makes it the first of its kind, and it has its own features and differences. But I also believe that ONE alone is not enough to satisfy the current global economy and to change the existing fiat money: the true value of OneCoin lies in people, in demand and supply, and in its usability. That is why the platform is a very powerful tool that supports those three factors, that connects people and companies and makes the currency well-known. In the near future, the digital wallets of businesses can be activated to receive payments without the need of banking institutions, and then we will take a big step towards the next stage: paying salaries in OneCoin.

44 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

LM: This made it more difficult to introduce new

businesses and activate them on the platform, but in reality, those of us who had already been registered on the platform, kept on with the business, and our stores continued to increase sales. The community is very strong, it has a lot of faith in the project, and we knew that this was a temporary situation. It has been a risky bet on our part for a while, but in the end, the time has proved we were right: everything has returned to normal, and we can see how the number of Italian shops on DealShaker is growing again. The funny thing is that now that we are completely legalized again, we cannot complete all the controls and certificates for the new businesses to be activated on the platform.

OLM IMA: Did you have to especially motivate

teams and merchants during these months? What philosophy or mindset has helped the most to keep going with the work and how is it strengthened? LM: Our philosophy is very simple: never lose your

vision. That is the true motivation to be a leader: not to give up on your vision. And mine and my team’s one was very clear. We realized the usefulness of the product: both currency and education, and especially, that of DealShaker. It was very useful for all of us. I personally believe that this currency and its potential use will change your life. From the beginning, I have always been clear that one of the main goals was to get a good value for the currency and have as many coins as I can. And I have been able to transmit to the team that faith in the potential of this new model of economics, not only with my words, but also with the actions. A clear example of what OneCoin and DealShaker symbolize is the purchase and rehabilitation of the Hotel Cangrande. It is a construction that was in disuse and that the previous owners had abandoned in recent years. I already had experience in this type of management because I have another hotel in Villabella de San Bonifacio, so I knew what I wanted to do with the Cangrande. It was re-launched, 58 rooms were made available to the clients, and I began the plans to turn the basement floor into a spa, so as to offer an additional service. It is a sphere where tourism has grown a lot in recent years, and having this hotel benefits the economic growth of the municipality. All this was possible to achieve not thanks to the profits I had made as a networker, but thanks to OneCoin and DealShaker. And that’s something I always try to make very clear: sometimes, you shouldn’t think so much about the profits you can make within the network, but about the coins that you can accumulate, the use you can give them and how you can transform your economy thanks to them. There is the vision that we have remained faithful to.

But we resisted and won, and not only the Italian users, but the world also wins with this victory. Our strategy was to resist, demonstrating that there was a value, a utility and a tool that was helping us. The strategy was to continue creating jobs, because instead of staff downsizing, we kept connected to the community and to the rest of the world, offering a method of payment that many tourists had the possibility of using. And the day after the injunction was withdrawn, we were there, catching up, attracting more business, giving them visibility to those businesses and increasing economic growth. There is no better strategy than to be convinced that what you do has a value. We have made promises and set new goals, and we are committed to fulfil them and put the Italian flag high in the OneLife community. OLM IMA: What are your plans for this year and

your vision for DealShaker in the long term? LM: DealShaker is the beating heart of OneCoin, the

meeting point between the users and the global economy, for small and big business. It is the key to making OneCoin a real alternative in the economy, to integrate into society and become another habit of consumption. And businesses have a lot to gain with its growth, so the long-term vision is simple: to continue building a business network that can benefit from DealShaker advertising and to grow the community of users of the platform, which, in turn, will become happy consumers of our products and services. The main plan is to work hard and lead by example of our own experience and our actions. We already have strategies to grow and to catch up; we are going to test them, to perfect them and to make them work. And then, we will share them with our colleagues in the rest of the world, so that they could see that the important thing is not the circumstances, but how you approach those circumstances and what you do about them.

OLM IMA: It was great news that the precautionary

measures were finally withdrawn, and everything returned to normal. Is there any strategy to reestablish business and compensate that stage with less activity? LM: The truth is that we were very excited to hear

that news, after a very frustrating period. We were losing confidence in the Italian bureaucracy seeing how they treated us and how badly they were understanding this beautiful project. Also, some horrible things that appear on the Internet probably played a part in it.

But we resisted and won, and not only the Italian users, but the world also wins with this victory. Our strategy was to resist, demonstrating that there was a value, a utility and a tool that was helping us.

Every day, Dinos wakes up with the same energy, discipline and commitment to make his vision come true. And so, his actions are able to transform thousands of lives and make a significant impact on his country. Today, Dinos Bakalis is a great reference for Greece as a highly productive networker and as a leader in this industry of great importance for the world economy.

Dinos tells us how, from his vision of life, he found in OneLife an entrepreneurial project with some fundamental features to support and contribute to the solution of many economic circumstances that his country is experiencing. Dinos saw in OneLife an opportunity to become a generator of change, to transform the life of the team that had the mission of helping many other people. And so it happened. Dinos took on this great challenge and developed his business, achieving a rank of great pride, that of Blue Diamond. Nevertheless, for him, the reward was not the most important thing, but the very process and all the people linked to this great achievement, all the difficulties overcome, the sacrifices involved, the families transformed, social improvement of his country, as well as hard work, consistency, perseverance and determination to fulfil his dreams, and those of others, at any cost.

4 key steps to the success of a networker At OneLife, Dinos demonstrated his networking experience and confirmed that when you apply 4 essential steps in the network marketing development, you can create a magical formula of success in the MLM industry. All those steps are important.

First, let’s talk about believing in ourselves and being convinced of our abilities and capabilities. Without that faith, we limit our actions. When we trust ourselves, we are able to leave our comfort zone, find wonderful things that we didn’t know that existed and take the necessary action to fulfil our dreams. We can be very self-confident, but it is also important to have a clear goal that would place us on a structured path and allow has to take full advantage of the efforts made. For example, for Dinos, to achieve economic independence was his main purpose, considering that it would allow him to fulfil many other dreams. We must always be open to the different possibilities or opportunities that are presented before us, in order to direct our objectives through a support system. For this great leader, the support was OneLife. Dinos took advantage of the strength of this project to clearly set his goals and applied the necessary strategies during the process. The next step was taking action. Action is what makes the difference between desiring things and making them happen.

Consolidate an effective system that works for your team.

It is important to mention that the example of a leader who inspires so many lives is not achieved overnight, and it is more than clear that each and every one of the entrepreneurs and, in general, successful men and women in the world have reached the top through training, personal development, self-education and most importantly, a mentor’s guidance. For Dinos Bakalis, his mentor list starts with the life itself, which made him become the best version of himself. Our mistakes are our best teachers.

Mentors in his life On the other hand, Dinos tells us how his passion for reading has made a difference in his way of seeing life, and this is thanks to a teacher from his high school years: Periklis Fikas, who gave Dinos his first book, and from that day, his attitude and point of view of life are different. Later, in the MLM industry, he found a mentor who taught him the importance of discipline as a key to success in whatever you set out to do. This mentor was Jose Gordo, a OneLife Black Diamond and the Ambassador of the company in Latin America. The discipline of this leader has been an example worldwide to confirm that this personal quality is the most important one in achieving everything you aim at. Without discipline, one cannot reach sustainable goals. Finally, Dinos considers his father as his main mentor, since he always believed in his son’s abilities before anyone else did. The union of all these elements in his life experience has made Dinos an excellent leader, and his results speak for him. A leader who gives 100% of himself and takes his team to the highest goals with strength and determination. Dinos has created an effective system that works well for his team, carefully duplicating the principles in a way that everyone works in synergy for the same goal. Those principles are based on some core values that are fundamental to any networker: honesty, devotion and integrity. For Dinos, honesty is the only way to have good communication and to contribute to the creation of healthy and lasting relationships. Devotion to his family, to his team and to his own vision, that’s what empowers him and makes him passionate about what he does. And integrity is respect towards yourself, is conscientiously doing what you have to do even when nobody is watching. And these qualities make you different from the rest.

What makes Dinos different from many other people It is his dedication to service, commitment and genuine interest in a common welfare, rather than personal. You might wonder why this approach. The answer is simple: Dinos doesn’t look to receive, but to contribute to everything; he doesn’t serve with expectation, but gives 100%, because he knows that he takes part in the creation of a better world. “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” Dinos Bakalis, an inspirational leader, relates these words by John Kennedy to the OneLife network and highlights that by contributing, you gain even more than you could expect. His position is clear regarding the total support he gives to OneLife and the contribution that his team can make to the growth of the company for the benefit of all, giving value to the slogan “Together for More”. Hence the new life project of Dinos: to create a movement of economic independence in Greece through the Masterclass 1, 2, 3 strategy in the OneLife Network. Masterclass is a kind of an academy of finance and business intelligence for OneLife members, whose goal is to develop leadership skills that will be fundamental for setting up a successful business. Dinos Bakalis is also a proud member of the GLG project. He is completely aligned with its values and committed to its work aimed at the empowerment of the OneLife family. With the GLG training process, better habits and skills are developed that create the possibility of improving the lives of all the people in the network, provided those are really willing to change. Success is a circumstance that comes to you when you deserve it, not a destination A circumstance is a characteristic of your life that comes if you build it, so you deserve it and take care of what you have created. The creation of habits is in patience, perseverance, consistency and discipline. And success finally comes when the person has trained their mind programming it to receive and accept that success as a way of life. Success is not a lottery prize, it is a reflection of who you really are and the result of massive action and hard work.

The key is not to think about the amount of time, but rather about the quality of that time.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

Balance of life When Dinos talks about his family, he mentions his biological one and that of his OneLife team that he has created in Greece. And he tells us that he doesn’t have to sacrifice one for the other, but that he generates a balance, because both are important in his life. Dinos highlights that the key is not in the amount of time spent with the family, but rather in its quality, and in this way, a lot can be created, because every minute will be well used. In addition, time is an important issue. We can say that time is gold, because it’s not something you can recover. Dinos opens his heart to us and shares with how time and his family became essential for him because of a lesson he received. The death of his sister a few months ago had a significant impact on the life of this leader, but he had to overcome it with strength and humility and learn an important lesson from it: we have to value and enjoy every minute of our life and take full advantage of every opportunity, with passion and dedication, because we don’t really know the day when it will come to an end. And so, Dinos is motivated and determined to achieve everything he aims at, as taught by the philosophy of his favourite author Nikos Kazantzakis: “Reach what you cannot”. We can definitely say that Dinos always strives to give the best of himself, creating appropriate habits to lead a successful lifestyle. Finally, he lets us know something very personal and talks about his three hobbies that also contribute to his growth and passion for life and for the work he does. One hobby is travelling, and OneLife and network marketing give the opportunity to see the world while doing what you like. Another hobby is reading, which also helps Dinos create a better version of himself. And finally, kite surfing, to take advantage of free time in summer and to enjoy natural surroundings.

Live your life at 100% with passion in all the areas.

PAS CA L - R E N E A N D R E

DISCIPLINE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS Discipline is the key to success, and today, we can see a clear example in this great leader who reached so far thanks to his perseverance and discipline. Discipline is all about constant application of effort, hard work every day and determination. It’s also about rising up to continue moving forward, tirelessly, until reaching the goal. “Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.” – CHARLES DE GAULLE

Pascal-Rene is a man who with his greatness and determination glimpsed an extraordinary future for his life and for that of many others. He is a leader who will leave a legacy of his hard work focused on a clear goal and a life purpose that makes him get up every day and give his best to achieve it. With focus, discipline, effort and small actions every day, as well as with the humility and intelligence to let himself be guided by his mentors. This life example confirms that the words of the famous French politician and writer Charles de Gaulle are totally true. People are great par excellence when they are determined to be so. They create an incredible change in their lives and take action to build a brighter future. This might sound easy, but the truth is that there is a great difference between those who just desire and those who take determined action to achieve it. The determination is the step before taking action, and it is very important to

52 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

understand that action must be aimed at a life purpose, so that the results could be long-term. Determined people act consistently and with discipline, turning those activities into daily habits, and this is where their success comes from. And those people also stand out for their ability to believe in themselves and the skills they have, as well as to see the life full of opportunities and not obstacles. Pascal-Rene is a great leader who carries the passion in his blood, and his words transmit his love for what he does. He is committed to giving 100% of himself, dedicating to his team, making others fulfil their dreams. Pascal’s main goal is that those who believed in his word, his work and determination overcome great challenges and reach the top. So today, in this interview, we can meet a great man that impacts thousands of lives and duplicates by example good habits and success. Pascal-Rene is a leader focused on seeing his team in the highest positions of the company in 5 years. For him, there is only one goal that makes him get up every morning, full of energy and unconditional dedication: to grow the community of people, users, miners, merchants and network professionals in OneLife.

“

The main goal is that those who believed in your word, your work and your determination could achieve great objectives, too.

“

When people empower themselves and trust fully in the decisions they make, they can achieve extraordinary results.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

To get to the Diamond rank, which is already a great pride in the MLM industry, Pascal-Rene has travelled the path of challenges, bumps, criticism and a variety of obstacles. His focus and perseverance allowed him to get even further. He tells us how the consistency in his work and determination not to surrender under any circumstances were the fuel he used to reach such a precious rank. “Since I joined OneLife in March 2015, it has been a great ongoing journey. We had a lot of obstacles and very often, people would misunderstand the opportunity provided. But it is us, leaders, who have to lead by example and to make more and more people grow with the same mission. I never stop presenting the opportunity, I do it every day. This is one of the keys to developing the community.” But a leader like Pascal is not created overnight. He is the result of a constant education and learning, which in his case, as he shares with us, were focused on financial markets. Apart from that, Pascal also took advantage of all the educational packages offered by OneAcademy. And all this accompanied by hours of work and training in personal development, and his present results are the best proof of how his strategy works. Pascal also tells us that part of all this training process was the guidance of great mentors. Duplicating their lessons meant fundamental changes in the life of Pascal. He especially highlights the positive influence of the teachings of Staffan Liback, who conveyed a lot of knowledge through his story and his experience. On the other hand, in order to be able to develop organic structures, Pascal applied strategies learned from Frank Ricketts, who reminded him of the basics and taught him that as network marketing leaders, we work with people, so creating a simple system and duplicate it is key in this business. This way, Pascal has created a certain philosophy in his work. According to his words, it’s called KISS – keep it straight and simple! If you take care about your partners in the network and help them achieve ranks, you will be recognized with rankings automatically! In addition to that, believe in yourself and have faith that you can achieve all the goals you set. This is what will allow you to do exactly what is needed. This is the message Pascal transmits to us: start to execute your plan with determination and you will see that all the goals you have set will be achieved. When people acquire inner power and fully trust in the decisions they make, they can achieve extraordinary results, even greater ones than they expect. It’s important to seek opportunities instead of focusing on obstacles. In the case of the OneLife project, as Pascal shares, one can see that the company always provided a legal opportunity,

showed its commitment to the OneLife community and always supported and protected the interests of its members. Pascal: “It is people who are selling the opportunity the wrong way. It is great that the company takes care and works on it, when people don’t follow the rules and regulations!” As an example of the commitment of this project, in 2018, the OneLife Network, along with its greatest leaders, launches an initiative that will provide a structured, productive and unified development of the work of all the members of the community: the Global Leadership Group. Being part of GLG, Pascal shares his opinion about the group: “Representing the GLG and being united is very important. It shows the whole network how strong we are! There are no real limitations for us: when you have the GLG working the same way and transmitting the same to the rest of the community, we are becoming stronger and better than ever before!”

And what about the future? We asked Pascal about his plans for the time after OneCoin goes public and, more importantly, his vision for OneCoin is in the world after about 3 or 5 years. Pascal: “The day when OneCoin goes public is actually the day when the work starts. We have great products to sell, such as OneCoinCloud, which has no direct competition on the market. We have OneForex educational packages to educate people how to profit on Forex Trading. For me, the most important part is to develop the network of merchants: every merchant that joins makes our ONE currency more usable. Usability is the key to a coin with a stable and strong value.” For a professional like Pascal-Rene, we would also like to know how he achieves a balance in all the spheres of his life. Pascal: “To keep my energy level up, I just need to see how many people in my team changed their life through the opportunity OneLife provides. I am 100% committed; I get the most energy out of meeting and empowering others.” Finally, we are wholeheartedly grateful for these words shared by this great OneLife leader, who closes his interview with an interesting and very personal idea as an answer to one of our questions about a famous person he would like to meet. Pascal: “Didi Mateschitz, the man who made Red Bull to a lifestyle product. Pascal thinks he could learn from him how he mastered all the obstacles on his way and how he built his empire.”

DEALSHAKER EXPO ZAGREB 2018

WE CELEBRATE THE FIRST

ANNIVERSARY OF THE PLATFORM IN CROATIA We had been waiting for months. It had been talked about a lot at events and it was a dream for many. An online shopping and sales platform where you could pay with our currency, OneCoin. And one day in February, the dream came true. It was officially announced during the month of January, and, although it had not yet opened its doors, merchants began to register their businesses and publish their offers on the platform so that, when their activity officially began, all users could buy the coupons straightaway. And so it was. On February 16, 2017, DealShaker was opened to the public, showing its offers with a minimum of 50% of the prices in OneCoins.

The next great OneLife revolution had begun. On Friday, February 16, coinciding with the first anniversary of the platform, hundreds of merchants from various European countries gathered at the City Plaza Centre in Zagreb, Croatia, to present their offers. It is not the first merchant expo of DealShaker, but Zagreb is one of the pioneer cities in the organization of these events. And we can say that it is a very special exhibition to be held on this important date. The enthusiasts of the sales platform didn’t want to miss this celebration, so several thousand of participants arrived from very different places of the globe, near or far, walked through the stalls and shopped live. During the event, products of all kinds were exhibited: footwear, cosmetics, accessories, pastry, wines, cheese, health products, travel packages, art... Anything that can be marketed was present in the stalls on the site. But there was one product that stood out and shone especially in this edition: high-end cars. We had already been seeing on the platform fascinating offers of automobiles that can be paid, partly or fully, in OneCoins. But it was quite an attraction for visitors to see those cars live and to observe their characteristics, their perfect condition, and to be able to imagine themselves at the wheel of one of those exemplars.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

Besides being able to visit the stalls, to touch the product and even to taste the flavours from various regions of Europe, there was time for other activities. Presentations, shows and workshops. Those who had a VIP pass, in addition, could enjoy a high quality training session with none other than Frank Ricketts. And on Sunday, the icing on the cake was the Mastermind Event, where we continued to celebrate the achievements of a whole year of creating value for the currency, where the attendees learned how to get more out of the platform and understood the outreach it was having. The event featured local, European and international leaders: Mihail Petrovic, Kenny Nordlund, DealShaker expert Cristi Calina, Black Diamonds from the United Kingdom, Dr. Parwiz Daud and Mansour Tawafi, Gordon Stenhuijs, and Global Network Consultant Frank Ricketts. These were just some of the prominent speakers. It is important to mention that DealShaker not only gives visibility to thousands of merchants and provides the exposure for their products, helping create new jobs in many businesses registered, but also, events like this make a significant impact on sales, help stores, create value for the currency and inform curious visitors about the ease of buying using cryptocurrency: by simply clicking on the screen of your phone.

MINI DEALSHAKER EXPO IN SAIGON Recently, Saigon surprised us all with an express fair at which more than thirty exhibitors and more than a thousand members and visitors took part, buying and selling products of all kinds. During a single, but intense and very well-used shopping day, the Mini DealShaker Expo in Saigon was a beehive of enthusiasts of local crafts, food and health products, cosmetics, electronics, luxury goods... and there was even space for art and fashion! The Expo was part of the Super Sunday event, which also featured workshops for associates. A whole Sunday of economic and personal growth for Vietnam!

MORE DEALSHAKER EXPOS IN OUR CALENDAR:

GREECE

& ROMANIA Shopping enthusiasts on the platform and the merchants who advertise their products have a truly exciting couple of months ahead: May and June will host two new DealShaker Expos in Europe. The first one that we will be able to enjoy will be held in Athens, Greece, on May 18, 19 and 20. In this case, the protagonists will be the Greek merchants. This is an edition that will be very strongly focused on tourism and aim to give space to more than 50 merchants, among which you can already count on hotels, restaurants, leisure activities and numerous traditional Greek products. In this way, in addition to giving that extra boost that these fairs mean for businesses, all visitors will have the opportunity to discover some of the most outstanding wonders that Greece has to offer.

This exhibition is also framed by a regional event. That means that during those three days, there will also be activities focused on growth and education, with workshops and presentations by some of the most outstanding international leaders. We have the following appointment in Brasov, Romania. This fair will be special, since Romania was the first country to host and organize a DealShaker Expo. And a year after, in June, it returns to hold an international exhibition with a much more ambitious agenda. Three days of shopping in more than 200 merchant stalls from around the world. Thousands of products and services will have their space to shine at the Lux Divina of Brasov on June 8, 9 and 10. But, pay attention! It will not be only about shopping. In addition to the exhibition, as usual at our large events and conventions, there will be high quality workshops with two Mastermind sessions and, as the organizers of the exhibition let us know, we can expect spectacular musical performances by international artists! Alejandro Taylor TECHNOLOGY: A LEADERSHIP

ENHANCER

We are a consequence of technology, a consequence of our Internet communications. Surely, that can sound strange to some, even worrying, but there is nothing wrong about it. “The world is moving too fast.” Alejandro Taylor defends the use of Internet communications as a means of expanding your business and connecting with your team from anywhere in the world, and those communications have been key to his success. You are a product of your decisions, but your decisions are increasingly enhanced by the tools at your disposal: technology.

Real progress is what makes technology available to everyone.

Alejandro Taylor is a networker and a businessman with a constant and an entrepreneurial mindset. Something that has benefited him at the time of having a new and different opportunity in front and not letting it pass, despite not understanding it at all. When he learned about OneLife, he thought he was about to make professional contacts to offer digital marketing services. The reality was very different and, nevertheless, he really was going to make the most impressive professional contacts of his life. “Where there is a successful company, someone once made a brave decision.” He was one of the first to bring the OneLife concept to Argentina. But being one of the pioneers was not something that would put the success on a silver plate for him, nor was it the fact of having had previous experience, not even being an expert businessman with the knowledge necessary to run a business. His present experience is the creation of a system that, during the last year and a half, thousands of networkers have been using in Argentina and in other parts of Latin America so as to generate their results much more efficiently.

“The secret of change lies in not focusing the energy on combating the old, but on building the new.” OLM IMA: What is, for you, the true importance of great events? AT: Throughout my experience in the network, I learned that different events make you see the company and the project in a different way. It is not the same to see a good movie on a fourteen-inch screen as to see it on a seventy-five-inch screen. Not only for the impressiveness, but it is where you can perceive all the details. And that screen also magnifies good effects or production failures. This is what happens with big events. As human beings, we feel impacted when we see everything big, but we also absorb much more of the

message of the company and the information that is transmitted. And this is where the details count more than ever. It is not the same someone telling you that they are earning well with their network marketing activity as seeing in detail that so many people achieve it and share the way they have done it. All those success stories look very clear, very big and are presented in a very impressive way at such an event. The main leaders do everything possible to raise the self-esteem of their people. If people believe in themselves, it’s amazing what they can achieve. And I see that every day at OneLife events.

OLM IMA: Had you worked in network marketing before OneLife? AT: Yes. Previously, I worked in two network marketing companies, where physical consumable products were offered: nutritional supplements. But for me, the big difference is here. It is a 100% digital and virtual company, but at the same time, it doesn’t lose sight of the fact that it is about people and the improvement of the purchasing power of people. It is not an Internet business that may scare at first. It is a business of people, but it can benefit from using the tools that are available online. Anyone who says they don’t know how to handle the Internet is probably someone who hasn’t yet realized that they already use the Internet for

everything: WhatsApp, Facebook. They look at that screen they have on their palm all day... They already use the Internet. So, I already have experience in the industry, but this is the first company where I see something like this: not just a digital product or one designed to enjoy it digitally, such as the educational packages or the DealShaker. It also does the same as other companies, but more quickly, dynamically and expansively, using all possible tools. That is what differentiates it from the rest. OLM IMA: So, you already come from the digital world, how did you perceive the OneLife project when you first learned about it?

mind to listen to what they had to tell me. I was already familiar with network marketing, and what attracted me most about this project was that it combined some areas that I like and where I feel very comfortable: communication, finances and the Internet, logically. And to earn money! It is a new cultural era. You fit or simply stay out of the communication system. OLM IMA: Do you think it is necessary or advantageous to have a prior technical knowledge to fully understand OneLife products?

AT: I honestly didn’t understand it very well. I have a digital marketing company, and I’m supposed to be much more aware of those things: I should know what a cryptocurrency is. But the truth is that I hadn’t even heard of Bitcoin!

AT: Not at all! What really matters so as to present the product is your training as a networker and knowing what tools are useful. As I said before, many people say they don’t know how to use the Internet, but they use it every day. They use their mobile phones and don’t understand how they work, but they are useful and, without them, people today would be incommunicado.

When I went to the first event they invited me to, I had other plans in mind. I thought I had a potential client. But as soon as I entered the event room, that plan vanished, and what remained was my open

I think the trigger was the global event in London, the CoinRush. I listened to the company’s growth plans, and I think that was the push that I still lacked. I committed myself and even told my family, my friends and my team that once back from London, I was going to dedicate myself full-time to the business during the following year. Twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five days. With my team, the strategy evolved, we used more and more digital tools and we had more presence in social networks... It was available to my team and to anyone interested in the business at any time of the day and night. It was much easier for the team members who joined later, with a work plan that we had already created, polished and tested, based on trial and error.

The main leaders do everything possible to raise the self-esteem of their people. If people believe in themselves, it’s amazing what they can achieve. And I see that every day at OneLife events. technical reasons for its usefulness until they have gone through that education. The other products, such as DealShaker, the use of cryptocurrencies... what we must understand, in depth, is that the world changes. That technology replaces old habits and old ways and that our everyday life is already a consequence of technology and communication on the Internet. I started with this opportunity without even having heard of cryptocurrencies. It was enough for me to understand that it was something pioneering. What I did was to prepare a work plan. I sat down with a cup of coffee and spent two hours writing down my strategy and my planning for the next three-four months. OLM IMA: Did that strategy work immediately or did you find challenges? AT: The strategy works, but it must be the right one. I found many adversities on my way, and many people rejected my offer, even people who thought they were going to say “yes”. That’s when you see that, if your strategy doesn’t work, you shouldn’t abandon the plan, but maybe try another way.

A planning for at least three months, using all the tools one has at their fingertips: WhatsApp, Facebook, Zoom, and many more. Commitment and constant work. That’s what worked for me and my team. There is a big difference between being interested and being committed: when you are interested in doing something, you only do it when it is convenient; when you are really committed to something, you don’t accept excuses, only results. OLM IMA: Do you use DealShaker? AT: We are already using it, and I think it is majestic. Like everything, it will have evolutionary improvements that will make it more interesting month by month. Recently, we bought some high-end cars as a great opportunity in Poland, using ONEs as the payment method. And now we are preparing the documentation to import them to Barcelona, for the diversification of some new businesses that we are going to set up. OLM IMA: How do you see the evolution of the company in the coming years? AT: The company is committed to fulfilling all its objectives and has done it so far. Year after year, it gains more experience and manages to mature the marketing behaviour. I believe that at this pace and with the help of its educated and developed community, it will achieve greater goals. The community, us, we are also responsible and protagonists, and together, with the help and the guidance of the company, we will continue to achieve one goal after another.

JULIEN ZERBINI

Yes, you can More than ten years ago, a young man saw an opportunity so tempting that he couldn’t reject it. His reason for undertaking was “to be his own boss”. That young man has grown and evolved to become a responsible, honest leader with a great service vocation. Truth and honesty will always take you on paths of peace and success. Self-taught and hard-working, he has become a financial expert able to bring a little more light to the people who turn to him. In a world where, you like it or not, money motivates or limits most of our decisions. He says that as a child, he didn’t have many friends because he had a difficult character. It’s hard to imagine when, talking to him, you listen to a friendly, open person who explains everything with a smile and a comforting security. But Julien is one of the living examples that the past doesn’t determine the future, although we can learn a lot from what has been lived. From an early age, he had an example of strength and self-improvement in his own mother. A widow with three young children, in addition to working and taking care of the children, she set out to be an entrepreneur until she became the owner of a restaurant. That business mentality, capable of everything against all odds, was probably the germ of the entrepreneurship dreams that Julien always had. He had hard beginnings. He tried to fulfil that entrepreneurial dream a couple of times while working in the network marketing industry, without reaching the success he expected and dreamed about. But with all this, the reality is that Zerbini today is a great mentor who inspires thousands of people in the world. A leader who has created an organization with tens of thousands of people spread across more than fifty countries around the world. If something is destined to happen, you won’t have to chase it. That something will chase you. There are times when life doesn’t go as we expect; in many cases, it comes out even better. And this is the case of Julien Zerbini.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

OLM IMA: What was your first contact with the world of network marketing? JZ: I remember that it was exactly on April 23, 2007. I was to see a friend to talk about his new business at eight o’clock in the afternoon. I was a nineteenyear-old student and I remember that I was very excited to hear the proposal. Even then, before learning about the business, I dreamed about creating my own company. But I was aware that I was too limited to do that. Having a company requires a lot of capital, and there are many risks. And I was still evaluating how I could begin. Then network marketing came, a way of undertaking that didn’t require a high investment and where I could start working almost immediately. The business was incredible! I was very excited to become an entrepreneur, to be able to obtain financial freedom, to be the owner of my time.

“Time is the most valuable thing that a person can spend”. Not to depend on anyone other than my own effort and work. And there, I had my chance to achieve it. That day, without further consideration and very motivated, I decided to be part of network marketing. Does it sound familiar? When you don’t have time to do what you really want? Surely. Remember: time is an illusion that never returns OLM IMA: Was it difficult for you to develop your business then? JZ: My first six months were very difficult. When I was presented with the opportunity, I saw it much simpler than creating a traditional company, and although it is simpler, it is not necessarily easy. It has its difficulties and requires time and patience. In addition, I was very young, had no working experience and, therefore, few people took me seriously. So, really, I was about to give up on my dream, but I always tell myself that one of the most difficult acts of life is to decide when to quit and when to try harder.

“Does it sound familiar? When you don’t have time to do what you really want? Surely. Remember: time is an illusion that never returns.”

OLM IMA: But you didn’t... JZ: No, and so I said to my sponsor, but right then, he invited me to an international event. I was not motivated enough, but he insisted and told me it would be in Copenhagen, Denmark. I didn’t take it very seriously at the time. I went rather because of the experience of the trip, because of an adventure... But I still didn’t know that this was going to be exactly the push I needed. “If you fall, it is to rise up; if you rise up, it is to keep going; and if you keep going, it is to get there; and if you get there, it is to know that the best is yet to come.”

And that was my first big event. I was very impressed. There were thousands of positive and happy people with entrepreneurial spirit and contagious energy, and I had the opportunity to learn from all the leaders who were sharing their secret to reach success! I left that event ready to eat the world. When I listened to the testimonies of the leaders who started with the same difficulties as me, I told myself: no matter how much time it will cost me, I’ll do it, too! “You can do it, too.”

OLM IMA: And that decision, did it bear its fruit?

But, in addition, network marketing has given me knowledge and the passion to know more. It made me recognize that there were no limits in life to do what I want to do, and it has taught me to never have excuses when I fail to achieve something. OLM IMA: Have you had to make sacrifices to achieve success? JZ: In any of the jobs I have done and at the companies I have worked for, there has always been a certain degree of sacrifice. In my first network marketing company, I had to completely change my mindset, take the business seriously and start training. Everything I had studied until then was worth nothing to me. I had to make a financial investment that I didn’t count on at the beginning, not in the business, but in myself. I had to buy and read many books. Selfhelp, psychology, relationships, finances... I had to invest time and sacrifice personal moments, especially in the first years. The truth is that, after ten years of experience in the industry, I also had to make many sacrifices when I joined One Life. With the difference that this time, each sacrifice was rewarded more quickly and more fairly than at other times in my life.

JZ: It was not easy, but thanks to what I learned at the convention, I saw the clearest things: what I was doing wrong, what could be improved... I understood that if I wasn’t making any progress, it was for a reason. And on January 5, 2009, I achieved my first great rank. I qualified as a Diamond.

I believe that work and sacrifice are essential to achieve success, but you have to have a good vehicle for that. And, for me, that vehicle has been OneLife, by far.

It was an extraordinary year, because I became one of the youngest leaders to obtain that rank. They recognized my work, and my effort and the whole process that I experienced to reach that level. But the most exciting thing was that many people were taking example from my experience, that my story was an inspiration for others not to give up, to move forward, as one day other leaders inspired me to do so. That has no price or comparison, and makes me feel proud of everything that surrounds me.

JZ: OneLife gives the opportunity to everyone: you can start at no cost, have no repurchase and, above all, we have the best product in the world: financial education!

OLM IMA: What does network marketing mean to you?

Network marketing, after a time of work and training, can really give you the income to have that financial freedom. But when you don’t have the knowledge of how money works, beyond earning and spending, inevitably, you waste it. OneLife opened my eyes to a type of product that is necessary for everyone and that, in addition, today, has become my greatest passion and the centre of my activity as a leader: teaching about finance.

JZ: For me, it means a reason to be. Before I learned about it, I didn’t know what my life was going to be. I didn’t like my studies or the future projection that they were going to give me, I didn’t like to depend on someone else and meet timetables, I didn’t want to see myself living behind a desk. Network marketing has given me a true life purpose, something that started with the idea of having financial freedom and that now has become the goal of helping other people to have what I achieved.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

OLM IMA: Why did you choose OneLife?

For me it is really very important to have financial education. Throughout my career in the industry, I have earned a lot of money, but since I didn’t have financial education, like many, I spent the money without knowing how to manage it.

As soon as I got in touch with this company, I started studying on my own account some of the topics that were publicized, and that revolutionized my mind completely. Two books that have really

My worst nightmare is about not having helped anyone, not having been useful to society. This is what I focus on every day: on always doing my best. marked me at this stage of my life are “The end of the banks” by Philippe Herlin and “Blockchain” by Laurent Leloup. I really believe that we are at the beginning of a new industrial era and we can choose to be part of it and be prepared. OLM IMA: What is it like being a Diamond? JZ: My first Diamond, almost ten years ago, I think it was an experience that I lived more as a personal challenge. I went from thinking that I was not suitable for the business to seeing my work actually rewarded and many people feeling inspired by my achievements. This time, with more experience, I clearly see that the Diamond rank is something that affects the whole team, not just me. It should be the recognition of my team’s work. It was an impressive year-long job of thousands of people. These are people working in many countries, France, Mexico and Colombia, who have relied on me and the company to achieve more than twenty million euros of sales. When I found out, I saw in my head a whole year of work, commitment, effort, sacrifice and the first feeling I had was the one of gratitude. To all of those who trusted me.

For them, I keep working, with more and more strength. OLM IMA: What is your biggest fear? JZ: I think we all have a reason, a purpose. And the only thing that would really scare me would be to see life go by and to end my days in this world without having contributed anything. My worst nightmare is about not having helped anyone, not having been useful to society. This is what I focus on every day: on always doing my best. There are people who are so afraid of failure that they prefer not to do anything important so as not to risk doing it badly. That would terrify me. I’m sure you have also been afraid once? Do it, and if you are afraid, do it with fear. Today, I feel happy to do what I do. I can travel the world and I have a purpose. I know that what I do helps many people to overcome a moment of their lives in which I also found myself once. What I want to make everyone see is that it is possible. Even the most difficult challenges can be overcome with effort, creativity and above all, a lot of enthusiasm.

WILMAR CARDONA

CONVICTION

AND COMMITMENT AGAINST ALL ODDS Wilmar Cardona is a great Latin American leader, a true warrior characterized by an exceptional teamwork, where the service of those people who believe in his vision becomes the central axis of his career and thus allows him to consolidate an unbreakable team of warriors who work together for the same goal.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

It is an indescribable feeling when you see how a very grateful person approaches this Colombian leader for a hug as a symbol of a transformed life, bursting into tears of happiness and emotion. It is really when the power of leadership and the capacity to develop the inner greatness of each person who Wilmar Cardona works with is materialized. This great man focuses his vision on developing an unrivalled network marketing cell in OneLife based on his commitment to the project and the determination in his actions, characterized by hard work and dedication. Driven by a special talent he calls ‘service’, according to what this warrior shares in the interview. The perseverance and massive action of Wilmar since his beginnings in OneLife have resulted in the impact on thousands of lives thanks to the consolidation of a truly loyal, strong and decisive team willing to work against all odds. Wilmar is able to produce a radical transformation of their minds and make a positive and direct impact on their families. Architecture, Wilmar’s great passion, makes him dream big. At the same time, it gives him the ability to make exact calculations so as to build large structures and materialize his dreams and those of others. He loves to walk around buildings, always discovering new things and letting himself be surprised by the magical result of a work that first, was dreamed, then planned and finally, made a reality by a whole team working synchronized and carrying out gradual tasks that little by little give shape to everything. In the process, you cannot see but snippets, dust, sunny or rainy days, inconveniences, delays, incidents and a number of significant challenges. But focused on a final goal, nobody faints. As a result, we have exquisite constructions that leave us open-mouthed and make us imagine how many stories could be told of each brick placed. We could swear that Wilmar Cardona sees that same passion reflected in his teams, which has allowed him to develop majestic constructions with solid and productive structures. The most important thing in life for this Diamond is laying the foundations in any project he takes on, since an appropriate foundation provides solidity and serves as a base and support for the entire structure that rises on it. However, this part is often underestimated because it’s not seen. But it makes sense, and if we make an analogy with the famous iceberg illusion, you often don’t think about what successful people had to live before reaching the top. The same way, the part of the iceberg hidden under the water is much larger than the part that is seen. That is to say, on the path to success, patience and perseverance must always be present. Laying the foundations for a project such as a network

marketing organization must be thorough and intelligent. Now, this entrepreneur will tell us how his father was a definitive cause for him to join this great industry and how faith played a major role in another family story of his. OLM IMA: Your father was the first in your family to join this industry. How did you live this decision then? WC: It was the product of a history of debts and frustrated dreams. The first thing my father saw was the opportunity to be financially free in the face of the negativity related to economic changes. The fact that I believed in him was the beginning of a new era in the history of my family... Thank you, dad. OLM IMA: Did he keep your occupation in network marketing for a long time? Did he get to improve his lifestyle? WC: I knew that the last thing I wanted was to have the same track record of no results as my father had, and for that reason, joining the industry at that time was a crazy idea for me. Meanwhile, I had my mind focused on a business group, the largest one in Latin America. It had been my dream to create diverse business units linked to the development of many people, leaving a legacy in a community and a mark in their lives. OLM IMA: You know that this industry finds negative opinions among many people who have stereotyped a wrong guideline. For you, what is the correct way to work in the industry to combat this issue? WC: Many people have an idea or have seen not so good results in the work of others, so they conclude that it doesn’t work, but the truth is that they are focused on those who don’t have the gift of serving people. On the contrary, if we have the humility to listen to the opinion of those who have results and have really developed in this industry, there is a very different picture. In order to reach results in this industry, from my point of view, one must do it professionally. Don’t take it as a game. Be dedicated and committed to your development, as if we were talking about the upbringing of our children. One needs all the love and commitment in order to give the best of themselves and to have positive results. Network marketing unveiled for me what could really make me happy, that there is no success without a story behind and there is no story without people. So, I can say that collective success leads to individual success.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

SUCCESS = SERVICE “There is no success without a story behind and there is no story without people. So, I can say that collective success leads to individual success” OLM IMA: Tell us a little about the social work that you have previously taken part in. WC: I think the greatest skill I have is the ‘service’. Since I was a child, I have been involved in community work and entrepreneurship groups, which influenced my growth significantly. And this growth is even bigger when you understand that the human being is imperfect and that living in imperfection is the reason why we should be better. I don’t mean that we are going to be perfect, but that the search for perfection makes us improve ourselves to the fullest. That is why it is important to maintain constant development and learning, by reading books that improve your skills and break established paradigms in your mind, listening to audiobooks that motivate you to move on and make thing happen. OLM IMA: How did you finally convince yourself to give network marketing a chance? WC: By learning to listen about leverage. During a fantastic night on a Saturday, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., my father introduced to me the opportunity to change my life, I understood the industry and took the decision. With this experience, I would like to highlight the importance of following in the footsteps of great mentors, speakers and leadership experts, who offer many tools for us to be prepared. Because of what I saw in my family, it took me longer to actually understand what network marketing was, without entering this world. I didn’t really like it. At events, I would get bored or even fall asleep, but my father had never stopped trying to convince me. Experts always say that we see opportunities when we are really prepared for them, and that’s exactly what happened to me. Today, I appreciate it because I was able see the great opportunity of OneLife at the right time. And it really changed my life, allowing me to fulfil many of my dreams. OLM IMA: You’ve been in this industry for 10 years. How has the process been? WC: It was the process of increasing my selfconfidence. The faith that a person can come from zero to hero and that not everybody is born with the spirit of leadership, but they learn it, and their track record makes them an example for others. This is where we understand the importance of leading by example. This is how good results come, because money is not the goal, it is a consequence

of what is done. It has been a process... of hours walking the streets, travelling the world of days without money of understanding that money supplies the needs, but doesn’t bring happiness of going from fear to knowing that it is possible to fulfil dreams of striving to change my life and the lives of those who willing OLM IMA: What has been the most difficult moment? WC: I have experienced that many times: you have something to offer, but people reject or just ignore you. One feels useless. It’s frustrating not to manage to make people happy with what you do, and even more when your loved ones don’t believe in you. I would lose money, my business, opportunities. Mind you, I never lost my dream, it was my best option. OLM IMA: What did you have to change or sacrifice to achieve success? WC: Oh, God. Some question... Change? Many things! Starting with the mindset of poverty and believing that the world was to blame. Now I know that I am responsible for what happens to me. Sacrifice? First, in order to grow and improve, I had to distance myself from people who wouldn’t contribute anything to my life or could even hurt my dream. Another very difficult topic for me was having enough time for my daughters and family, which has become my greatest source of inspiration. Everything I do is for them, and for being able to spend quality time with my loved ones. However, it is good to see that in this industry compared to the traditional one, the sacrifices made are relatively smaller. OLM IMA: What do you like most about OneLife and who introduce it to you? WC: What I liked most is the career that I can make based on three pillars: 1. A circle of influence, or “human capital”. 2. Abundance of mental, emotional and cultural knowledge. 3. Economic and business growth. Sometimes, gifts come from the people you expect the least, and it was the mother of Mauricio Vargas

who, without even knowing me, presented to me for the first time the opportunity that today has changed thousands and thousands of lives. God bless you, Fabiola Hidalgo ... Thank you. OLM IMA: What was the best experience you have lived in network marketing? WC: I would say, it was a call from a 60-year-old man. With his afflicted voice, he told me that for the first time, he was able to buy his diapers with the money from his own business. Before, he would have to ask for money from his children. I burst into tears of emotion. It was an experience that I will never forget. OLM IMA: What is the most immediate, most personal and most important goal you want to achieve during this year? WC: To take those who believed in me towards wealth, tranquillity and, especially, closer to fulfilling their dreams. To strengthen my business group, so that this year, many families would get support thanks to our growth. To spread my team around the world and to develop social and business projects.

BOGOTÁ ONELIFE VIBRATES IN THE LATAM BLOOD

The latest OneLife event in Latin America was truly impressive. The human warmth of this Latin land could be felt at its best. We were able to experience the true passion vibrating within each one of the members of the OneLife family, with more than 1300 attendees present at the event, always working hard and focused on a promising 2018, making dreams come true. With the best attitude to receive incredible training sessions and education to improve their businesses from international top-level experts and active participation of both the corporate team and the Ambassador of OneLife in Latin America, who is creating history. There were so many teams from different parts of Latin America, united by the same goal: to improve the lives of millions of people around the world, providing financial education tools that simplify and popularize digital currency, so that people and merchants of the world could understand how to use the OneCoin currency and how to benefit from it. In the world of constant evolution, the area of finance would not be different. Fortunately, at this event, we had the opportunity to raise awareness about the financial revolution that step by step, inevitably, becomes more present in society. We were able to confirm that the vision of the company is aligned with the financial development that society is experiencing and that it places us at the forefront of it in the world. The foreign exchange market is an additional tool of the financial system that banks already handle. It’s a thriving combination of financial and technological elements that allows trading, buying and selling of currencies, without the need for a bank to mediate it. This was one of the topics raised at this Latin American event, by Jaiber Perez, an international lecturer, who shared the concept of how it works and how people can get trained and prepared to benefit in this market. In this market, it’s not about emotional investment: people without education or training to take action, hoping for their money to return and bring benefit are doomed to fail in this area. For Jaiber, luck is a matter of complete and appropriate education. There is no coincidence, if you are prepared, you’ll get it. If not, suit yourself. In the same way, he talked about the money that each of us receives: we receive what we deserve, what we are capable of handling; if we don’t show that we can manage money, we won’t receive more of it. It is not that there is no money, but that it really doesn’t reach our hands, and this is the responsibility and the consequence of each of our decisions. An extremely interesting training session in which Jaiber specifies that financial intelligence is fundamental for financial success, but it doesn’t work alone: it is linked to the emotional intelligence and spiritual and mental strengthening.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

A professional environment with impeccable logistics: the organizers of the event demonstrated their commitment and dedication. On stage, there was an explosion of energy coming from the masters of ceremony, such as our Emerald Oscar Cometa, our Diamonds Wilmar Cardona and Tomas Posada and our Blue Diamond Diane Mendivelso. It should be noted that such events constitute a crucial opportunity to enhance the hard work of thousands of people who strive to develop their organizations every day, together with their teams, and this time, more than 20 new ranks were recognized, and each of them had the opportunity to tell their success story, reflecting all their effort and struggles during the process. We could witness moving stories that exemplify excellence and dedication and prove that it’s possible to get there when you are committed and take action. There was a young man who shared some words from the heart, showing us that it can be done despite the fears we have and that limitations are in the mind. He courageously invited us to take action, even with fear, but also with the faith in an incredible future. No excuses, no limits or justifications, always giving the best of you. These results prove the potential of this project in Latin America, strong, dedicated and ready to work hard. All this thanks to the work in synergy of the entire ecosystem of the company, which this year, can count on the strong support of the GLG, where

top leaders are trained, and the results prove it. When we feel the vibration of a giant room with thousands of OneLife IMAs, we realize that it is not only what they tell us, but what they truly feel and how they act: more than 3.3 million people in the community worldwide, a family full of warriors, fighters, entrepreneurs, developers of thousands of people creating organic structures of leadership, of professional work aimed at conquering the market long-term.

A great surprise that the Ambassador of OneLife in Latin America and Black Diamond Jose Gordo brought to us: an ultimate tool for any networker, the new OneLife Magazine IMA, Latam Leadership Special. The tool that will mean a before and after in the world of the OneLife network and in the MLM industry. The OneLife Magazine IMA comes with the greatest leaders who tell their stories of success and failure, share their secrets and give tips and tricks to motivate and empower their followers. The magazine was a great success.

Jose Gordo is an excellent example of what the true leadership and strength of a warrior is, standing firm in this project, working with love and energy, the two principles that govern his every day activity. At this event, Jose received from his Latin American team recognition for being the strongest and most trusted person of the whole team. With his work, he makes the leaders of the entire team rise up every day to continue making the dreams of many come true. Jose Gordo, a leader of leaders, gives us a great life lesson: always give the best of yourself, whatever you do, and when you feel that everything is against you, that you no longer have air to breathe, don’t surrender, keep moving and understand that success requires sacrifice, but when you achieve great goals, the reward will be worth it.

One could definitely notice that OneLife stands firm with all the projects it has to develop in the coming months. It is interesting to see how life makes us come through difficult, extreme situations that prepare us to receive rewards. And this is the case of OneCoin and OneLife, which at this event in BogotĂĄ demonstrated how strong our networkers are in the heart. Latin America, is just one region in the OneLife world, represented the entire community.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

But the surprises were not over: Konstantin Ignatov came on stage to tell exciting corporate news about work projects for 2018, highlighting the commitment of the founders of the company with him as a fundamental part of the corporate team and working shoulder to shoulder with senior management. Encouraging news about

the process in Bulgaria, where the regulatory bodies were allowed to inspect the activity of the company, and despite all the attacks received, the investigations carried out and hundreds of pages of documents revised, the company is still operating, with no offence or failure. Konstantin also talked about the highly technological Blockchain that guarantees the satisfaction of the miners and safe, practical, quick and effective transactions. In this way, the community feels supported and reaffirms that OneCoin makes a difference, doesn’t fade with negative opinions against it and keeps focused on its true mission. The entire ecosystem works for the same goal: to transform the world’s financial system. The intention is to get integrated into the current financial system and become a global reserve currency that would satisfy the demand of millions of users, be accepted by the regulatory entities and attractive for governments and the businesses of the world banking. Finally, Konstantin announced his total support for the OneLife IMA network and for the new strategic project of the GLG, led by the company and its great leaders, with the mentorship of Frank Ricketts. In this way, the project will make history through education, standardized leadership training and professional development of all OneLife organizations and their members, providing the necessary fuel to project a 2018 of success, with

joint forces and the passion of the largest financial education community in the world, which is OneLife. The strong words of Konstantin came to provide security and confidence to the entire team of OneLife IMAs, to reaffirm the commitment and dedication of the company. Those words reminded us the whole journey this great company has travelled and the great things it has achieved that had never been done before. What we should do now is to make use of these advantages and to increase them, to take this business to the highest level, to bring our skills to the maximum potential and fulfil our dreams. Here are some words from the intervention of Konstantin Ignatov: “Thanks for this warm welcome, thanks to Jose Gordo for having this team and this great family so dedicated. I’m here to meet you all in person, to walk together and guide you to where we’re going. I worked hard together with my sister to see what we have created today. For us, it’s a dream come true. That’s why I admire Dr. Ruja so much. In a world dominated by men, I’m so proud to see so many independent women in this network, the power of loyalty, of being united. This is what she taught me, it is what makes us strong in everything we do.

You can only be productive and creative if you know that you are not alone and there are people supporting you. In 2017, we reached more than 3 million people in our organization thanks to tremendous leaders who developed great teams and help each other. 2017 was the year of growth and great success: more than 700 Diamonds, 154 Blue Diamonds, 31 Black Diamonds. No other network in this world can boast this. This is the moment where we are most eager to reach the next level. This year will be our year, we will reach great goals. But we shouldn’t forget that it’s about teamwork, so we must seek to help others achieve their dreams. Discipline is the key, Simon Le and Peter Shaw are our examples. We must strengthen our leadership and make the network more powerful. We suffered a while back, faced disappointments with some leaders who are not here today. I saw them on stage representing themselves and creating followers, not leaders. Nobody should call themselves a leader while creating followers. A true leader generates more leaders. We saw the time to change, to grow stronger, so a new generation was born. In January, in Frankfurt, the GLG was created by Frank Ricketts. It is a tool that will help us all.

version, but we already have people registered from more than 134 countries. It should be highlighted that in 10 months, more than 120 million OneCoins had been used. So, this is what created usability for our coin and adds value. After the first week of operation of the platform, more than 4000 merchants joined in, and now, we already have more than 100.000 registered businesses, with 300 people joining daily. South America is our best market, working together on this project. DealShaker will undergo changes; we will develop this platform step by step. 2018 will be your year; the company will provide you with new tools and more materials for you to develop your career successfully. It’s very important to mention that education has always been the heart of our company. If we analyze education, it’s not easy to define, because it’s not only about receiving information, but about acquiring knowledge. This is why OneAcademy will launch a new course about Blockchain and cryptocurrency, containing more than 3 hours in video materials teaching you about the latest trends in the field.

With my Sofia team, we are anxious and happy to work with you and help you, to create a great community of professionals, that’s what I want.

Today, we were able to listen to some important information about Forex. This year, our new project and a great business opportunity – OneForex – was launched, and in the first week of its operation, without advertising, more than 10,000 people registered.

The most important thing is the information flowing fast in the network, reaching everyone anywhere. This is something that this industry had never seen before, and you are part of it. You have the opportunity not only to do business, but we are going to help you be educated and trained in all aspects related to OneLife. In order to teach others, you must first become a professional. We will organize global leadership trainings, corporate 3-day boot camp trainings with great leaders, special days to fill us with knowledge about how to prepare events and exhibitions, as well as with training sessions by Forex professionals.

This was my presentation, but many of you wonder why I came here. You know that in January, the Bulgarian, German and European Union authorities investigated our headquarters. We collaborated with the authorities from the beginning, because we have nothing to hide. There were no arrests, in 6000 pages of documentation, not a singe legal flaw was found. The investigation continued looking at everything in detail, talking with merchants, buyers, etc. And you know what the result was. DealShaker is something genuine; it’s not a fraud, so have fun using this tool.

Apart from that, there will be many fun activities to grow as a team. And at the end of this entire agenda, we will give you official certifications, proving your training and commitment. 2017 was the year of merchants. In February, DealShaker was launched, and after the first year or operation, it grew more than we had expected or had been able to even dream about. It’s still in the beta

There is one last thing I want to highlight about the research: our competitors said that we didn’t have Blockchain. I’m glad that we have been investigated, because the existence of Blockchain became more than obvious, with all its advanced features. Against all attacks, we are united, like a great family; we will stand all the storms. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

SAID RAJEB WHEN YOU ARE COMMITTED TO SOMETHING,

YOU DON’T ACCEPT EXCUSES,

ONLY RESULTS Today, we are going to speak about a very special person. Said Rajeb, a OneLife Blue Diamond, is undoubtedly one of the leaders most committed to this project. His extensive experience and high professionalism have led him to develop skills and guide by example his great family in Morocco. This is how Said describes his network marketing team, because sometimes the family is not only where you are born, but also the people who join you in each stage of your life. If you take care of your team like of your family, you will achieve wonderful things.

OLM IMA: After reaching the Blue Diamond rank, which is a pride in the MLM industry, what new projects and objectives are there for you and your team? The GLG project is gaining international importance, could we say that there will be a before and after with GLG? SR: Last year was a year of hard work, I could say, exhausting, and with the effort of all, we got exceptional results. Actually, to be honest, we had had those results in mind before even getting them. If you give the best of yourself in everything you do, the results always come. I don’t think it can be the other way around. And me and my team, we knew that we were doing the right thing to achieve our goals and to become one of the greatest teams in this company, as well as to take this opportunity to every part of my country. It was hard, with a lot of bumps on the way, but those bumps actually helped us grow and have more faith. Now, I consider 2018 the year of consolidation and preparation. For me, the basis of success is to be properly trained. And this is why we developed a new plan of action called GLGA: Global Leadership Group Arab. The purpose is to unify the Arab network and the idea comes from the main international GLG project, but before it was established, we had already been working on our own plans and strategies.

OLM IMA: What was the biggest obstacle you had to face on your way to success? How did you rise up and move forward, despite the circumstances? SR: On our path to success, we had difficult circumstances. But it’s important to remember that when difficult situations appear, it is also a chance to look for solutions. Not focusing on the problem is the key. We live in a strict country, and cryptocurrency is still a very new concept. Everything was new for everyone, and the company grew very fast. Life will put obstacles in your way, but you set the limits. OLM IMA: What are the fundamental values that any networker must take into account to develop productively and structure their path to success? SR: For me, there are three fundamental values that each and every one of the networkers must have so as to achieve success and reach their goals: respect for the business and the partners, honesty and commitment. They may seem simple and even logical. You must take care of your company, your product and your people. A company represents a set of human resources and tools for production, which together have a common purpose. For example, we are all part of the natural environment in which we move, although little by little, we forget the precious planet on which we have the luck to live.

If the fruits of the earth are not collected, they are lost. To collect the fruits, you must first sow. If no one sows, nothing will grow. And if all the fruit is eaten and no seeds are left, it will be difficult to sow anything. In companies, many times, the seed of an idea is developed and gives its fruits, but it is necessary to be open to it, to accept new ideas. Otherwise, the company is doomed to extinction. We are all part of this reality called network marketing. Take care of what you have. The partners are the basis of everything you have to be prepared to face the bad times. Remember that they are human beings, and they will remember that you are also such, when you have bad times. That’s why I’m saying that you must take care of your partners as well as of your family. And most importantly, be honest with yourself first, and then, with others. Integrity in any circumstance seems simple enough at first glance. All you have to do is to tell the truth in every situation, right? So why do people who are commonly sincere justify distorting the truth in certain situations? If being honest makes life simpler, then why would someone complicate things on purpose by being, even a bit, dishonest?

A “NO” IS GROWTH AND THE FUEL TO LOOK FOR MORE OPPORTUNITIES.

There are numerous situations that can test our determination to be completely honest. Fear brings out the best in us, and we say something in intent to avoid the consequences of what we did. If this came to work in its time, then we got the proof that lying is less painful than honesty. No less important for me is the commitment. There is a big difference between being interested and being committed, when you are interested in doing something, you only do it when it’s convenient. When you are committed to something, you don’t accept excuses, only results. OLM IMA: If you had to talk about a mentor who has changed your life, what inspires you the most about this person? What are the tips you have taken from this mentor for your work? SR: Of course, I would choose my OneLife upline, Mr. Jose Gordo, who helped me a lot at the beginning. I am grateful for the advice he gave me and for his infinite energy. As he always says: work and work without stopping. For me, a good mentor is someone who is able to see talent and capacity in you and help you bring it out. As a mentor, you always have to be a reference of quality, and it is an honour for me to have had a good mentor who motivated me, listened to me, who keeps nurturing our relationship, who guides me and challenges me to be better every day.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

OLM IMA: What inspires you most in your life, what motivates you to move forward despite any adversity? Do you think that motivation is created by oneself or from outside? SR: What really inspires me, to be honest, is my wife, who never gave up on me. When a woman praises her husband, it helps them develop and strengthens the relationship. And what motivates me to continue working is to see so many members of my team change and improve their lives. I believe that teamwork motivates us, the people around us are a source of inspiration and motivation, because you can achieve great things with the help of your partners, motivating us all, especially in MLM.

OLM IMA: Network marketing is a profession that presents thousands of challenges. The main one could be the rejection. How did you deal with this problem? What would be the necessary advice for your followers to work with this challenge? SR: As long as I believe in what I do, I always see it positively and have compassion for those who reject an opportunity that could change their lives for the better. And in my name, the advice I have for my followers on how to deal with this challenge is to consider that there are many other interested people, and if someone says “no, that doesn’t mean failure, it means learning, and you should take it as fuel to go and look for another one.

It is important to understand that all people are prepared to listen to an opportunity; therefore our job is to always keep looking, tirelessly. And also, the more we get rejected, the more we learn and grow. OLM IMA: Many people are afraid of leaving their comfort zone when you talk about effort, selfeducation and hard work. What were your most powerful tools to be able to transmit the vision of the project and impact so many lives? SR: I always try to make people wear the same hat as mine or the same glasses I have to have a clear vision of this wonderful opportunity. This is the best tool I always use with my potential clients, because each and every time I make them see this world as I see it, it is a victory for me and a new partner ready to share the same vision I have for your community.

YASSINE MARIOUID

MAKING

HISTORY Yassine Mariouid states that he feels great admiration for his brother and partner in OneLife Said Rajeb, who believed in him and took proper time to teach him to the point where he could fly high. On the other hand, his mother is no less important, as she supported him, and keeps doing so, under any circumstance. Yassine, although at the beginning he didn’t know what network marketing was, took on the role of a networker in the best possible way and has obtained excellent results. When he started his work in the MLM industry, his idea was to become a millionaire in a short time, but it wasn’t what happened. Yassine realized that when you want to run a productive business that would last long-term, you must invest time, discipline and hard work until you see sustainable results. Yassine Mariouid shows us that the true intention and determination towards our objectives allow us to take productive action to achieve them despite the obstacles that might arise. For example, at the beginning, this great leader gave up his traditional

86 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

job and later realized that it was a big mistake. However, he believes that it was an excellent life lesson. Yassine learned to appreciate that the reward comes as a result of hard work and 100% dedication. After he returned to his traditional job, he kept working in network marketing in his free time and during the night. With this dedication Yassine proved that saying “I don’t have time for this because I have to work” is only an excuse and a barrier that we ourselves place in our lives. OLM IMA: What was the determining factor for you to make the decision to venture into the MLM world? Did you get engaged straight away, or there were prior attempts? What do you think are the factors that determine a consolidated path and results in this industry? YM: I was invited to the company by one of my friends, and at first, I thought that I was invited to a job interview. But then I found myself in the middle of a presentation about network marketing, explaining the opportunity. I didn’t know anything about this field, unlike everyone else, and I was so naive that I didn’t realize that I was actually being offered a job opportunity. However, I bought the product and I started this business and said: “Let’s see what happens and if this thing will really work!” When I started, I didn’t have any idea about this job, no vision about it, nor any misconceptions. For me, it was all about the fact that I would earn money from this job by distributing the product and building a team, and I was very enthusiastic about it, but enthusiasm alone is not enough.

The true intention and determination towards our objectives allow us to take productive action to achieve them despite any obstacles.

OLM IMA: We know that your beginnings in the MLM industry were not as you had expected. What did you do to break stereotypes and achieve success in OneLife? YM: Indeed, OneLife is my lifestyle now. It is a company that changed everything in my life after I made a big mistake when I left my traditional job in another company 90 days after entering this industry. I thought that I would become a millionaire in no time (months), but then I found out that this job should take at least two years of hard work until you can completely count on it as your main source of income. I call these two years of hard work “the meagre days”. Despite that, I don’t regret that mistake, as it is now part of my story, but if I had the chance to go back in time, I wouldn’t have left my traditional job for me to have an income to pay my bills and debts, and in parallel, I would have taken care of my team until it

88 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

would grow and I could entirely rely on it, and then I would have left my traditional job. During those two years of hard work, I was under considerable pressure from my creditors, who were chasing me. I was even forced to change my residence, but then I found a modest job paying 200€ a month in order to restore my financial situation. That exact period was a big turning point in my life! I discovered that I didn’t want to work in the traditional sector. I don’t want to work for others, so I started looking for a new network marketing company to work with and that’s how I found OneLife. This time, I didn’t make the same mistake of leaving my traditional job and not being able to pay the debts and bills, and when I got back home from work at night, I would dedicate all my time to work with my team. In addition, I sacrificed all my holidays for this job. Step by step, I got myself out of the financial pressure zone, and my monthly income increased to 15,000€.

OLM IMA: If you had to speak of a mentor who has changed your life, what inspires you most about this person? What are the tips you have taken from this mentor for your work? YM: I have thousands of teachers and sources of inspiration. They are all in my library, where I have thousands of books and educational tapes. You can find lots of tips and life experiences if you are really looking for them. But the person from whom I learned the most and who was the reason for my success is Said Rajeb. I introduced him to network marketing, and he was the one who taught me how to succeed. OLM IMA: What are the fundamental values that any networker must take into account in order to develop productively and structure their path to success? YM: People are not afraid of this business, people are afraid of failure and the opinions of others if they fail. And this fear is mainly coming from their prior negative conception of this business. How to help them: I believe that in this business, when you try your best doing hard work and believing in yourself, then the transmission of your enthusiasm and vision to others will be easy, and in that way you can help them. With the effort you make, you give power to your work, and if you are willing to always do your best in the development of your business, more than effort, it’s passion and joy from doing what you like. In this way, you obtain extraordinary results and appreciate them. Believing in yourself gives you strength with every decision you make, as well as the security and selfconfidence, which allows you to take action, leave your comfort zone and achieve wonderful things. On the other hand, it is also important to maintain a high level of energy. Self-motivation is a key tool to stay encouraged to move forward whatever the circumstance. You need to have a clear goal and also a vision of a brighter future, firmly believing that you can make it, being positive and ready to overcome any challenge that might arise on your path.

OLM IMA: OneLife/OneCoin is facing industrial and regulatory risks, or in other words, has had legal and competition troubles. How do you see the company facing these market challenges? YM: The owners of the company are the most important pieces in this puzzle. They are people with powerful vision which directly reaches everyone. Dr. Ruja has a great experience in business and finance. She has given great things to the world and she will be remembered by all of us. Everyone knows that OneCoin will succeed. In fact, it has succeeded. Also, don’t forget that we have an army of powerful network marketers (Frank Ricketts, Jose Gordo, Sebatian Greenwood). For all this, I think that there is no fear for OneLife. I believe that we have made history, and soon, everyone will know that we are the best in the entire world. OLM IMA: Who would be the person you are passionate about and who makes your life better? YM: It’s my mother. Every day, I wake up and I ask her if she has a new dream that she wants me to achieve for her. She is the one who gives me the energy, the enthusiasm and the burning desire for success. Also, the people who can’t find a job because of not having a degree. I always look to help them in this business. OLM IMA: What was the biggest obstacle you have had to face on your path to success? How did you rise up and move forward, despite the circumstances? YM: The biggest reason preventing you from achieving your dreams and succeeding is yourself. So, on the path to success, there is no failure, but there are experiments that we make every day with small efforts that pile up to a great success. OLM IMA: What were the most important books you have read and specifically, what tools did you get from them to improve in your life, personally and/or professionally? YM: The Book: Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It changed my idea about having a job and gave me values and principles that should not be abandoned in my way to success. OLM IMA: What is the dream you most want to fulfil in your life and what do you do to get it? YM: It is a dream, a challenge and an ultimate goal. Helping as many people as possible to succeed. It is a dream which I wake up for early every day with, and I believe that it will live with me for a long time.

An authentic strategist who shows us that success is above all in attention to details. Restless, nonconformist, close and always with a positive attitude that illuminates everything on his path. Cordel “King” Jayms understands, loves and lives the business intensely. And it is part of that unstoppable force that the team from the Caribbean region is becoming, day by day.

Cordel “King” Jayms, 37, is from Trinidad y Tobago. Cordel has developed the ability to see very clearly the patterns that make a business prosper. And this is how he achieved the Diamond rank in just eleven months of working at OneLife. Something that Cordel loves about this industry is the possibility to travel a lot and see many places in the world, but this is just an additional advantage, secondary to the greater attraction that network marketing has for him: to provide for the tranquillity and the prosperity of as many families as possible. Because the most important goal that King has goes beyond himself and the business: that of people’s happiness. He offers you the opportunity and the training to develop it effectively, but he also offers you also open arms, trust and human warmth. OLM IMA: How did you discover network marketing? KJ: I was introduced to network marketing by a friend in 2000. At that time, I had been working at KFC since 1996, before I graduated from high school. And there, walking from store to store, I realized that there was a different way of doing things and I was intrigued by the franchise business itself. In my first presentation, the presenter explained me about multi-level marketing. He drew circles on the board and said that each circle represented a branch of KFC. Knowing in advance how KFC worked, this immediately caught my attention, and I became interested in the opportunity. Thus, the possibility of getting a “franchise” and helping others was a profitable investment that I was willing to make. OLM IMA: What was your first experience in the industry like? KJ: The first network marketing company I joined was Quickstart. I worked there for three months

until I met someone who introduced me to another MLM company. While I was trying to persuade him to join my business, he made a profound observation that changed my interest in the company. He told me: “If you speak to ten people, how many of them already know about the opportunity you are offering?” I answered: “Maybe six out of ten.” Then he went on to ask another question, “If you talked to ten people about PPL, how many of them would know about the product?” My answer was: “Less than one person”. So I learned that there is a greater chance of success when the product is in high demand within a larger and unconscious market. And the importance of being a pioneer. That person became my mentor, and everything I learned from him led me to achieve great success in the following years. Thanks, Greg Smith! OLM IMA: What do you remember about your first event? KJ: My first big event was in Las Vegas and it was a bittersweet experience. The emotion and joy that filled me were unparalleled! However, there was also some pain and despair because of the lack of recognition. But after reflecting on it, I realized that, in reality, I hadn’t done the necessary work to be rewarded! Instead of sticking to that first feeling of disappointment, I grabbed everything I learned at that event, from the testimonies and trainings, and put it into practice to keep improving. The experience was shocking: I saw great leaders who had once been in my place and had the ability to push me with their words of encouragement and advice, which I still use today. This great event ignited a fire of passion towards the business itself, which continues to burn within me as I continue to learn how to reach and help more people. OLM IMA: What do you think has been the key to your success? KJ: Learning from the best has always been the first step of every success in this business. My main mentors in the industry have been Dexter Yager and Brian Carruthers. They taught me to continue with only one business, since that is how the legends are created and remembered. When you try to attend two businesses or more companies, you end up losing the focus and don’t truly grow in any. I also learned the EFW system, which is a summary of the principles for network marketing and was developed by Brian Carruthers.

The EFW system is this: E - Expose to everyone. F - Fortune is in the follow-up. W - Work with the willing. This is the basis of network marketing!

others are reluctant to do, a great success can be achieved. Earning residual income was the most attractive aspect: I would work part of my life and my family would be fully insured financially. This security is what drives me to work harder.

Besides this, I have seen and understood that when it comes to netWORKING: the networkers themselves must get involved, with correct guidelines and understand the need to WORK, WORK and WORK!

It has given me great hope. Knowing that, even if I don’t come from a rich or highly educated family, there is still a way I can take to benefit from financial and educational advances. That, in this industry, it doesn’t matter where we come from, but whether we are willing to work to get where we want.

OLM IMA: Has network marketing changed your life?

OLM IMA: And how do you recognize a real success?

KJ: Network marketing has changed my life in a tremendous way. It gave me hope to achieve my goals and showed me that by doing the work that

KJ: At OneLife, I could see great success. More specifically, when I saw a turn in the life of numerous team members. Economically, they become better

“The networkers themselves must get involved, with correct guidelines and understand the need to WORK, WORK and WORK!”

OLM IMA: Why OneLife? KJ: I chose OneLife simply because of the direct instruction of God. Some would say that it was a “hunch”, but I’m fully aware that the voice of the Holy Spirit resonated within me. At first, I had doubts because I didn’t understand it well. But, as the true depth of OneAcademy and the Blockchain technology unfolded before me, I had a revelation. All MLM companies, eventually, would need to use cryptocurrencies to keep up with the evolution of money. More and more industries and companies will use this technology to make payments and charge for services. So, I had an opportunity to be a pioneer in the creation of a strong currency, made exclusively for daily use and consumption. In addition, OneLife has allowed me to understand more about money and the current payment system, very valuable information in our times. OLM IMA: What are your next goals? KJ: The main objective for this year is to attract thousands more people to the OneAcademy educational platform, to continue creating freedom and empower people through knowledge. I also want to discover more people with the potential to become Diamonds, help them change their lives by discovering all their talent. I’m already investing a lot of time and advice in them, so that they can realize their full potential and not only reach the Diamond rank, but go just as far as they want.

prepared to pay their debts, support their families and even help others. Mentally and emotionally, they were more stable as life became easier for them. That is the longed-for financial freedom. The freedom to live every day without having to worry about the lack of money or upcoming bills. It is not easy to achieve, but this is the best industry to do it. In addition, there has been a real change in those who bought and used our product, which is education. With the OneAcademy courses, you can also reach that financial freedom that makes life much easier for everyone, learning how to get more out of our profits and how to prevent money from disappearing as soon as we earn it. As people graduate in the courses, I’m filled with a great sense of satisfaction. And I also consider this a great success.

On the other hand, I want to become a Blue Diamond before June. Setting this goal in particular helps me keep growing and pushes me to take on increasingly difficult challenges to be an improved version of myself. Dates are also very important when it comes to achieving a goal, because it is not the same to want to get a rank as to aim at getting it in three months, for example. When you set a date for your goal, you encourage yourself to do a little more each day to get closer and fulfil your dream. I know that nothing will happen if it doesn’t happen on time, but it is the best way to ensure steady and uninterrupted progress. Also, when I get it, I would be the second Blue Diamond of the Caribbean, and that idea fills me with emotion!

GORDON STENHUIJS

Network marketing made me be the man I am today. Gordon Stenhuijs once left Suriname with a very simple, but inspiring dream: to see the world. The idea of learning more, knowing more and getting immersed in the culture of other places on the planet was the only great motivation that Gordon was able to recognize in his youth, when the vocation was not yet defined. But that was enough to make the decision that, eventually, has led him to be the person and the leader he is today. In 2002, young Gordon Stenhuijs left his native Surinam to go to the Netherlands, where he began his studies in Aviation Engineering, thinking that this was his vocation. Years later, Gordon realized that his dream was not in his engineering job, but that he had much more to do, and much more to discover. So, when Gordon learned about network marketing and discovered that there was an opportunity to do something with much more meaning, a purpose, a legacy and with more freedom, he could never abandon the idea until he got successful. OLM IMA: What is network marketing for you? GS: It’s what made me the man I am today. It shaped and matured my character, my ethics, my entrepreneurial initiative and my perseverance. It teaches me to be strong and never give up. It has also taught me to improve my communication skills. I believe that, in addition, it is the most effective platform to help others in a holistic way, while you have the inevitable obligation to continue growing as a person, to continue learning and developing your skills. But another important part of this business is that, thanks to it, I meet very nice people. I don’t “have to” work with people to develop my business Rather than that, I have an incredible opportunity to work with other people so that, together, we can create something positive. In summary, I believe that this industry has made me a better person and a much happier one. OLM IMA: How did it all start? GS: During the year 2004, I was studying in Europe. Also, that year, my first encounter with the network marketing industry occurred. I was invited to an

94 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

event in Amsterdam and I got very impressed by the emotion, positivity and energy in the room. One of the things that caught my attention immediately was the concept of personal development that was discussed there and that was so integrated into the industry. Although, as I say, it was only the first encounter. I continued studying and, eventually I started to practice engineering. I tried to create my first network business while studying, but it wasn’t properly focused. Also, the person who invited me didn’t give me much support or training. I didn’t fully understand the potential of the industry and I didn’t try hard enough either. I just didn’t know what I was doing, so it didn’t work. OLM IMA: Did you ever think that the industry was not working? GS: It didn’t work for me, I didn’t understand how to make it work and I wasn’t patient enough to dedicate time to it. It was a moment of frustration and disappointment. But I never gave up completely. Each day that passed, I was more aware that the job I had chosen didn’t fill me enough. It demanded too much, especially time, but gave me very few rewards. I started to miss Suriname very much, I also started a family in the Netherlands, who I would spend less and less time with. So, I think I never stopped looking for an alternative, now that I look back. That should have pushed me to try to create my own businesses: a logistics company and a technical services company. None of them gave the results I was looking for and, much less it assured me a good long-term financial situation. I was looking for control of my time and money, and I also had the idea that my grandmother, the incredible woman who raised me, was already very old and worried about my children getting to know her. So, having the freedom to travel more often was also a factor. And, I continued undertaking, so I also went back to try network marketing. The second time was also a failure, but one from which I learned, as I learned from my other businesses. And there was the third

attempt, when, finally, I began to experience the transformation that I realized was necessary so as not to fail again. OLM IMA: How did you overcome these failures and start seeing success? GS: The main thing is that, when you have an important reason, you will always have an “excuse” to rise up again, no matter how painful the fall is. We can speak of willpower, but there is nothing like having a good reason that doesn’t let you quit. In my case, that was clear: I needed a turn in my career that would allow me to return to my roots and have more time with my family. The next thing is to understand why it doesn’t work. I had to discover that I was not prepared enough. I didn’t invest time in my development, I didn’t read, I didn’t train. And, in addition to that, I was continually affected by fear. I was afraid of not getting the results I expected and piling up debts. Something that I really saw coming when creating my other companies. It was after my second failure in network marketing that I had to understand that these things held me back and kept me away from my progress. I started reading a lot, I discovered books about the industry and about leadership. I had to spend more time learning and training. I learned to be patient and not be tempted to quit if I didn’t feel that I was moving forward soon enough, that if I held on a bit longer and practiced a bit more, everything would fit together. And it really worked. I managed to create a team with more than three thousand members with that opportunity and I had the option to take that opportunity to the Caribbean. That’s how I decided to be a full-time networker and go back home. OLM IMA: How did you learn about OneLife? GS: It was through Anderson Chester. He called me from London, where a company event was held: CoinRush, in 2016. But it was not until later when Anderson came back from there, and we had a meeting where I really understood what he was trying to tell me. Financial education, technology. It was a revolutionary concept that has managed to continue innovating since then. I think this concept doesn’t only change the perception that people have of money through further education, but also the very way in which network marketing is done. It has managed to raise it, modernize it and make it more dynamic. I think that, at the moment, it is the best opportunity for me. I love this evolutionary vision and I’m very proud to be part of it. I can also say that in this company, I’ve reached

One of the things that struck me was the concept of personal development that was so integrated into the industry. real success. As soon as I started, in fact, in my first month, I was already earning ten thousand euros. That was a really incredible moment. I qualified as a Ruby and started attracting other leaders right away. That happened because of the combination of several factors. One of them is the company itself and its project: something amazing, very interesting and useful for many people. But another very important factor is that, although I had just started at OneLife, I had already gone through several experiences of failure. They were necessary failures to finally awaken my full potential. OLM . IMA: What does your team mean to you? GS: They are my family. I owe myself to them, not out of obligation, but out of devotion. I want them to discover the best version of themselves and I want the best for them. Each of them has a beautiful and inspiring story; each of them has overcome their fears and limitations. It is a real miracle what this industry is capable of creating. I see talent in them and I will always make sure they see the same thing. Sometimes, they need a challenge or two, a few slips to see how they rise up and start discovering each other. I hope they also see in me more than a leader or an upline. More than a business partner. I would like them to see me as a brother, a friend, even a father one day. And I want to inspire them, motivate them and be their example to follow... I met my best friends and quality people in network marketing. One of them is Anderson Chester, who is my best friend and a very important person in my life. I also love other leaders like Cordel King James, Jose Gordo and many others in the OneLife family. I think we are writing history together, and we will all be proud of this global project. OLM IMA: What dreams do you have left to fulfil? GS: This year, I want to become a motivational speaker and be able to empower people in a professional manner. That is my greatest hope in these moments. That, and a dream that I will always have, but I will continue to fulfil little by little: that of having visited every country on the planet.

“To be successful, you must be able to take up the role of a student. Learn to crawl before you walk.”

A strong woman and a believer. These are the words that Sina Hunt, an experienced entrepreneur and networker for several years, who has been an important promoter of financial education in New Zealand and Australia, doesn’t hesitate to describe herself. By her words and actions, we are made very clear about the strength of this woman and the positive influence she spreads.

WITH FAITH AND HARD WORK, YOUR DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE

SINA HUNT Sina Hunt is a leader, she is an entrepreneur with several years of experience in the traditional industry. She is also a mother, wife of a Christian minister and, therefore, a devout believer, who also volunteers in several charity organizations. But above all, Sina is a mentor who is creating and forging teams of men and women inspired by her and committed to a vision of a more equitable world, thanks to the OneLife revolution. OLM IMA: In the network marketing industry, there are many more men reaching high ranks, but the proportion of women is lower. Seeing you reach this rank is a pride for a networker, it is an honour. How do you feel in the role of a mentor for so many women who see you reach your dreams? SH: The role of a mentor is vital and has been an integral piece of my growth as a leader in my own right. There have been a small number of women in the industry that really look to shake the status quo, and I not only respect that, but I also embrace it. We women are striving to ban the perception that only males should take on lead roles. I believe that as a woman, one is scrutinized much more as compared to our male counterparts. However, I am committed to being a part of the revolution of more and more female leaders in the MLM industry, stepping up to close the gap and to show that women are capable leaders, as well as to be recognized for their leadership. I’m blessed with this amazing opportunity. Being a mother allows me to show my daughter that with faith and hard work, your dreams are possible to achieve. OLM IMA: How was Sina Hunt before joining the network marketing industry? What is the before and the after for you? SH: Before I joined the industry, I was a successful business woman in my own right in my home country, owning several businesses that would allow me to take care of my children. However, when entering the MLM industry, you must expand your horizons. You are no longer isolated to just your part of the globe, you must think globally. All these years in the industry have made me a stronger and more confident woman and business leader, and I share my experiences with other woman (and men) around the world.

OLM IMA: Why did you decide to work in the MLM industry, and specifically, why OneLife? What did you see in this company for you to make the decision to develop this project? SH: I prefer to be my own boss. I wanted to know that I would get everything that I deserved for my efforts and not for someone else to reap the benefits of my hard work. I knew that my input would determine what type of financial security I might obtain. The vision of Dr. Ruja was ultimately what led me to wanting to take part in the project. For far too long, the traditional banking environment has kept us tied up. OneLife brings the opportunity for the unbanked to have an alternative solution that was once not readily available for them. OLM IMA: What does discipline mean to you? Do you believe that it is fundamental to achieve professional success and to develop organic structures in the MLM industry? SH: Discipline is a strong word that comes from the word disciple. A disciple is a pupil, a follower. So before you can lead, you must follow. I’ve been very fortunate that over my time in the MLM industry, I’ve had great leaders to support me, mentor me, encourage and challenge me. To be successful, you must be able to take up the role of a student. Learn to crawl before you walk. OLM IMA: OneLife/OneCoin is facing industrial and regulatory risks, or in other words, has had legal and competition troubles. How do you see the company facing these market challenges? SH: Well, we knew that this project was not going to happen overnight. We also knew that there would be challenges along the way, especially when being a massive disruptor to the traditional banking that we are accustomed to. I am thankful to have had a mentor who prepared me for this. The company is under so much scrutiny. Why? Because of all the noise we are making. Of course, that is going to ruffle some feathers, as well as put some fear in those in the banking industry. We will continue to see attacks on the company, as well as to witness the fact that there is no fraud or illegal activity on the part of OneLife.

OLM IMA: If you had to speak of a mentor who has changed your life, what inspires you most about this person? What are the tips you have taken from this mentor for your work? SH: I lost my father at a very young age and my mother not long after, but I am blessed to have crossed paths with Pastor Willie Papu, who has become a father figure to me. Pastor Willie has taught me so many valuable lessons, but the two most important lessons are: firstly, to have the heart to help others and secondly, not to let other judgements depict what you do and the type of person you become. OLM IMA: What are the fundamental values that any networker must take into account to develop productively and structure their path to success? SH:

• You must have a big WHY.

• You must believe. Believe in the Company, the product, in network marketing and in yourself!

• Don’t judge, because looks are deceptive. I don’t

target only those who I think are new customers, clients, etc, I speak to everyone.

• Go to events, local and global, and get plugged in. Network and learn from others while developing your own style. The more you learn and put into practice, the more you grow as an individual and as a leader.

• You’ll get lots of advice from “experts” to play things safely, but don’t take much or any chances. Most people mean well, but their advice is not going to take you to your dreams. You have to take risks. Be willing to fail, knowing that even in those

100 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

failures, you will learn lessons, as well as develop character, all the while moving closer and closer to your goals. OLM IMA: How do you see yourself: as a warrior, as a generator of change, an example of inspiration, a life changer? How would you describe yourself in your work? SH: This is a tough question! As a staunch Samoan woman, it is difficult to describe myself in such a personal narrative. If there is one thing, one purpose, one goal to everything I try to achieve in life it is to help others. As a wife of a devoted Christian Minister, our family is founded on the belief that blessings are a direct gift from God, and these blessings should be shared, not kept for selfish use. I hope that this is the person I portray to the public as I would wish for nothing less than to help others who are in need. OLM IMA: What was the most important book you have read, and specifically, what tools did you get from it to improve in your life personally and or professionally? SH: The most important book I have ever read is without a doubt “The Bible”, because it is the source of everything in life. My favourite verse from the Bible is found in the book of Matthew 6:33. It says “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”. Matthew clearly states that if we seek first his kingdom and righteousness, he will bless us and grant us all the things we wish to have. Our abilities and capabilities are limited but with God they are limitless.

OLM IMA: And according to the Bible, faith is the conviction about what cannot be seen and the certainty about what is to come. Do you believe that this can be applied directly in the development of a networker? Or a traditional entrepreneur?

OLM IMA: What would you say to all the women of OneLife to empower them and to encourage many more to join and achieve important ranks? What do you think the most important skills are that a woman possesses so as to be able to develop this type of project?

SH: In fact, I believe faith is the cornerstone. You must believe, but not settle for just that either: you need to work. See the foundation of faith is action, not just words. This applies to both the seasoned networkers as well as someone coming in fresh.

SH: To all the women in the OneLife company, there is a famous analogy that suggests that while the male is the head in a family or organisation, the woman represents the neck, the head cannot move or function properly without the neck. My advice is to be a positive influence in your areas of influence, share the vision and the blessings, and God will bless you even more. You are more powerful than you know. Become whatever you want, growing and developing into the life that you choose.

OLM IMA: We would also like to know how you as a leader achieve a balance in all the spheres of your life. For example, how do you maintain your energy at 100%? SH: My life outside the OneCoin Business is not black and white at all. Its very colourful with numerous commitments. God has always been the balance glued in with a strong supportive network including family and community. OLM IMA: With whom would you have a business dinner and for what reasons. SH: One person I would love the opportunity to have a business dinner with is Dr. Ruja Ignatova, so that I might have the opportunity to thank her personally, for her vision and for sharing the blessing which has helped so many in need.

“I believe faith is the cornerstone. You must believe, but not settle for just that either: you need to work.

KAMRAN HYE

AN OPPORTUNITY

FOR EVERYBODY The changes that arise in our life and in society allow us to realize that we can live our life in a more productive way. Changes are good because they make us think beyond what we have been used to, they take us out of our comfort zone, make us rethink our actions and allow us to be more proactive and creative. Finally, changes drive us to generate improvements in our lives. It is clear that any change can be positive if we focus on the solutions and not on the problems. This is how Kamran Hye has received the financial revolution: he managed to really grasp the need that exists in the world and thus has welcomed with remarkable pleasure the evolution of money as a logical and necessary change for society. A great leader who, in addition to his hard work in developing an organic structure in the OneLife network, gives us a life lesson of total commitment. Passionate about the project, Kamran is armed with valid, logical and rational arguments that allow us to have a vision, to understand that the future of digital payments has already arrived, that in a few years, this will be our new vocabulary and it is crazy not to be part of this revolution.

102 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

Kamran Hye didn’t settle for only understanding the financial revolution, but has also taken the courage to raise his voice and communicate to the world what is happening, not only through direct sales of financial education offered by OneAcademy, but also as a journalist in different media. It is of great pride to see how this leader has the courage and strength to defend his vision before the issue of digital currencies. That’s where we see his self-confidence: Kamran believes in his skills and abilities to achieve what he aims at. And he accompanies this with total conviction towards the project he has decided to develop. In this way, we are sure that Kamran Hye is a man of commitment and determination, ready to take action so as to make his vision a reality. Today, we have the opportunity to share this space with Kamran Hye and make known his position towards the project and some of the topics he published his articles on with the purpose of creating awareness and generating changes for society by spreading the message and making this opportunity accessible to all. OLM IMA: Why OneCoin and not another project? KH: All other cryptocurrencies are already in the market trying to create their own usability, and because of speculative buying and selling, called “pumping & dumping”, they are, therefore, unpredictable and with high volatility! However, OneCoin is different, and for the past 3,5 years, we are creating the demand, the supply and the usability, hence it will be the most stable cryptocurrency for the masses! We have a centralised base, the KYC/ KYB procedure with self-regulated approach, with its 3,4 million members already on board and own exchange called “xcoinx”, as well as DealShaker for merchants, where nearly 62,000 of them are on board with us. It is just the most organised way to be out in the public domain.

Think for a minute and then decide what action is necessary from your own part. Making the most amount of coins now with spreading the word to friends, family and other contacts are indeed the best way forward to secure our future together with creating a legacy for at least the next 700 years, as this is the pattern of the “evolution of money” in this world (barter trading to gold silver coins, and then fiat money leading us all now to the digital era!)

My own belief and the reasons why I have chosen this business concept as my number one priority now in the creation of a legacy are the following:

• Money has evolved since the human race started

to evolve. First, it was a barter trade (700 BC), to gold and silver coins (14th century), to fiat money as we know it now (21st century). Paper currency now moved towards being digital money through plastic debit and credit cards, online banking, mobile apps to PayPal and telephone banking etc.

When on 15 August 1971 the US government suspended the guarantee of gold being the main backup for the printed paper money, the government has the free will to print as much as they wanted, forcing the devaluation of paper money and inflation.

• Computers, internet and mobile phones weren’t

available then, so we all relied on paper money, and now we have e-commerce and online shopping. International trade depends on digital marketing and therefore, it is necessary for the money to match this digital challenge and evolve being part of the next technological revolution called “The Internet of Value”, hence the Blockchain technology will take over to store everything in a secure, safe and transparent public ledger.

• Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency introduced in January 2009 and has obvious flaws like being decentralized, anonymous and volatile in the market, as it has limited supply and demand too.

10 months of its operation and now getting EUR 250,000 spent every hour, 24 hours a day. On its first anniversary, DealShaker Expo in Zagreb sold 304 luxury cars with ONE being the method of payment for the large percentage of the overall payments.

Due to the background of Dr. Ruja, her education • OneCoin has centralized base with the highest •and expertise in this field and the integrity that number of coins available for the whole global population, with a maximum of 120 billion coins. All of the other more than 1,500 digital currencies out there combined have up to half a trillion in capitalisation, when OneCoin already reached a much stronger position in revenue within the past three and half years of being in operation, and its capitalisation has gone much higher than any of other coins put together in this same period, spreading in over 194 countries worldwide. The DealShaker platform, which was introduced by OneCoin in February 2017, has beaten its own record achieving 1,8 billion of ONE (its digital currency) priced at average EUR 15,00 in the first

she has, I have 100% confidence and faith that she knows exactly where she is going with this OneCoin and OneLife Network. Since December 2017, Frank Ricketts with over 44 years of network marketing experience has taken charge of the coaching and training, going around the world, giving starter & leadership trainings with his partner Jens Laustsen. Recently, I was following them in the Asian cities of Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam, Australian cities of Melbourne, Adelaide & Brisbane, before finishing my Asian Tour in Kuala Lumpur, where I had the opportunity to go on stage and talk about my experiences, approaching various governments,

apprising them on the potential of adopting OneCoin in their countries. For this, I had prepared background information on why digital currency is necessary, as well as the background and expertise of Dr. Ruja, being the visionary behind OneCoin and OneLife, and then preparing one page bullet points of the advantages for the country and its people adapting quickly to the digital mode of payments, and then drafting a simple one page MoU for them to initiate the dialogue between OneCoin/OneLife corporate before formalizing official acceptance of our proposal.

• Time is surely running out, as we have already announced that OneCoin is due to be launched in the open market through ICO offer on 8th October 2018. It will create a huge supply and demand within the predicted millions of members and thousands of merchants that it is aiming to get in this same period from now having over 3,4 million members active mining the coins at present worldwide and nearly 62,000 merchants on board.

OLM IMA: What is your view on what is going to happen in 2018? KH: My view is that the cryptocurrency revolution needs to become understood by the people in the street. The changes are very rapid. People need to be informed, now, to take advantage of them. Of course, the messaging about the revolution needs to be tailored to the target audience in question. The huge increases in value of some cryptocurrencies through 2017 have captured the imaginations of many. Looking forward, particular cryptocurrencies will bring around major shifts in the wealth of individuals or communities. The “Value transfer” could happen on a large scale. 2018 could well be the year in which cryptocurrencies will emerge as an important asset class for individual investors – like commodities and other alternatives.

WE CAN CHANGE

THE WHOLE WORLD

BY CHANGING A PART OF IT Armand is the living representation of networking ideal: honest and committed, he has been working on his destiny since he was a child when he knew that what he really wanted to do in life was to change the world for the better. And it is in his adulthood when Armand found a perfect vehicle to fulfil one of his most fundamental dreams. That vehicle is part network marketing, but the engine is 100% OneLife vision.

ARMAND NGADOU Armand’s childhood in a rural region in Cameroon and without access to banking made him fully understand the vision of the company. But it is his own personality and experience that turned him into a networker worthy of admiration and capable of creating inspiration. From his personal values to his professional strategy and the way he motivates, Armand teaches and focuses his team. They constitute an essential part of the success that the company is reaping in the UK and especially, in Scotland, the country where Armand has lived and worked for decades. In fact, in 2017, he was named African Entrepreneur of the Year by the African Challenge Scotland, an association that promotes the cohesion and integration of the African community in Scotland through various sports and cultural activities. Armand is, therefore, a man acknowledged for bringing immense value to the Scottish economy, the African community and the lives of thousands of people who are now part of his OneLife family.

OLM IMA: A visionary man, focused and with results in the MLM industry. What did you see in the OneLife project for you to decide to put all your effort and to develop all the work you have accomplished? AN: I saw a change that would positively impact the lives of millions of people globally. And I wanted to be part of it. Another reason is also simple: I grew up in a country called Cameroon in the West of Africa. I know how difficult life is for farmers or people living outside the main cities, where there is no access to banking. My aunt was a hard-working woman, I used to go with her to the farm and we used to sell her crops at the local market. I saw many times that buyers would dictate the price of my auntie’s crops

106 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

and the products of others hard-working farmers. I always dreamt of a day when I would be able to help improve their situations. And here we are: OneLife is the perfect vehicle to help me with that.

OLM IMA: We realize that you lead a quality lifestyle, but sometimes, the followers only see the tip of the iceberg. Tell us what you were like before this lifestyle and what was the biggest challenge you faced to fulfil your dreams? AN: I’m not there yet! I am so grateful to the team and the leaders I have been working with and who have supported me for the past 2 years. Before OneLife, I was running a small sales and marketing company called Wow Global Solutions Limited. We used to run door-to-door campaigns for our clients. It was really tough, because it only depended on sales. If there are no sales, I would still pay the team and the bills. Also, it would really put a lot of pressure on my family life. OneLife has allowed me to have more freedom, to leverage my effort and to work with like-minded people.

OLM IMA: People don’t usually have an open mind to look for opportunities or see them, how do you manage to impact so many lives? What is the differentiating factor of yours that makes thousands of people see the opportunity and join your team? AN: We live in an instant gratification society, and people want things to be done fast. They want to see results “yesterday”. And this is just how most of us have been trained from the very young age. I came across the industry of network marketing, 4 years ago, thanks to a friend who invited me to an event

I am still on a journey: I am constantly

seeking to improve.

that changed my life. There, I was introduced to the “Law of Attraction”. It changed my whole perception of life. That was the start of my journey in what we call personal development. For a few years, I would read about personal development and I also attended several network marketing events, without ever joining, until I learned about OneLife, which rewards individuals for their hard work and effort. I have been at OneLife for 2 years, I witnessed a company that actually stood behind its people and its word. Every promise from the founder Dr. Ruja has been accomplished. So the simple answer is: I share my story.

OLM IMA: You are a tireless man, who doesn’t stop until things are done. Determination and discipline seem to be your main keys. How do you teach your team to act in the same way? AN: The first thing they need to know is that they don’t have to reinvent the wheel: it is alright to copy from people who already have reached success that you want and apply the same principles. So, what I did and still do is to educate myself and then apply the skills. When you have a system that works, it is very easy to duplicate it. And the great thing with OneLife is that we have a simplified system that works. I am still on a journey: I am constantly seeking to improve by attending OneLife events and trainings whenever I can, also learning from mentors like Jose Gordo, Mariana Lopez, Frank Ricketts and many other great leaders that we have in the network family. I need to keep sharpening my skills in order to be able to keep bringing more value to my organisation. Another thing we need is the ability to really communicate well the vision of the company. Dr. Ruja has conceived the vision that is bigger than her. We as OneLife leaders have to play our part by spreading the

108 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

message and inspiring the next generation through the same vision. But in order for us to communicate the vision well, one needs to believe in it.

OLM IMA: Networkers are inspiring people, generators of change. What is the leader that inspired you, ignited your heart and led you to transform lives, starting with yours? AN: Since I was a kid, my dream was to be the president of the republic of Cameroon, my country. Nelson Mandela inspired me. I was 6 years old when Nelson Mandela was released from prison. I grew up studying his life and the contribution he has made in his country and in the whole world. I was so inspired by him that I wanted to impact the lives of people in my country just like he did. I used to think the only way to do that was to become the president of my country. But I came to learn that there are also other ways. Nelson Mandela used to promote education as a powerful weapon that can transform the world. I signed up for that and I took my education very seriously since I was a kid. That was the main reason to join OneLife: to be able to CHANGE the world and make the financial system more accessible to the unbanked worldwide through education and the creation of a global cryptocurrency. A dream come true for me.

OLM IMA: Preparation and self-training are essential tools to contribute to the process of professional success. What were the tools that marked a before and after in your career and increased your results? AN: I used to think that education was limited to what we learn at school. I went to school, college, then university and I graduated with a degree in computer

science, with distinction, from the University of West of Scotland (UWS). The degree didn’t serve me until I came across the concept of personal development. The book that really impacted my life, and that I keep learning from, is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. It is a fantastic book for any entrepreneur out there. Also the book called “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. “The Future of Payments” from Dr. Ruja Ignatova, a real game changer. One of the things that I also received as a new OneLife member was a free eBook “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George Clarkson. Reading this book showed how much the company cares about our success.

OLM IMA: What habit or habits do you consider essential to prosper in the business? AN: Focus on the work. It is easy to get distracted by many things going on in our lives, but if you really believe that you have found your WHY and you are where you wanted to be, please focus and give everything you got at 100%. But if you are still not sure, just start anyway, you will learn on the way. And you will make mistakes on the way, that’s OK, because each one of those mistakes prepares you to be the person you’re growing to be. You will learn from good mentors and bad ones, and those lessons will be helpful to you. Build relationship: do better at building relationships, because your network will be essential to your success in network marketing and in life in general. Invest in your team: take time to help your team develop. The more people you help, the more leaders you will create that will duplicate what you do. Become a lifelong student: commit to developing yourself. Read books on personal development and the biographies of people who inspire you. Attend all company major events and trainings that you are qualified to go. Events build people. Learn to say NO: the grass will always look greener next door, you need to learn to say “no” to an opportunity coming along the way to take your focus away from your goal. Follow the system and keep it simple. Don’t reinvent the wheel. We have OneLife, apply a proven system and duplicate.

OLM IMA: We want to get to know you beyond work, what are your favourite hobbies and how often do you do them? Why should one take the opportunity to dedicate time to their passion? AN: I spend time with my family. I take the girls to the park and to the studio. They love singing and dancing. They are actually working on a song that will be released soon. I read about 3 books a week and will be increasing this number. Reading is my passion, especially self-help books. I also enjoy movies, as a kid, I used to play in the theatre and I also featured in the movie called World War Z that was filmed in

“You cannot change the whole world, but you can change part of it. You can make a real difference in the lives of some people.” Glasgow. I was an extra, you can see my face running in there. I also like design and production. I spend a lot of time working on friends’ and families’ blogs.

OLM IMA: Family is a fundamental pillar for us to be happy, where we find love, protection, security, commitment, loyalty and many other things that make our life full. Do you think the family model can serve as an example of relationships for the teams in this industry? AN: I grew up in a large family of 7 children. My dad taught us core value of unity, integrity and respect within the family, and my mum showed us how to love unconditionally and how to develop trust by being a trustworthy person. When there was an argument or a fight between us, my dad would lock us in the room until we settle the issue. His philosophy was simple: family problems are solved in the family. I am very lucky to have learned these core values from the very young age. I am happily married with two beautiful little girls: Shanika is 9 and Sasha has just turned 8. And Chantal, my beautiful wife, they all mean the world to me and are my biggest motivation, especially in tough times, I have a reason to keep going. I have them. Network marketing isn’t different. To succeed, you have to help people. And the same core values are applied here because to really build a strong organisation, we have to work as a family, as a unit. That’s how we will all win. “One for all, all for One”

OLM IMA: We know that you have a great interest in developing this business in other regions of the world, especially in Africa. Tell us a little about your objectives when focusing on this region? AN: You cannot change the whole world, but you can change part of it. You can make a real difference in the lives of some people. Of course, I have my team spread everywhere in the world and I always give them my best, helping their development through webinars and events whenever I can travel. The reason I focus a bit more on Africa is simply because I understand the problem and the situation of the people there. I was born there, I was raised there, I went to school there. And I know we can make a real change with OneLife, which I think is a perfect vehicle. Greater things will come from Africa when people are more equipped with financial education and access to the global financial system.

We understood perfectly the vision of the company, especially the part about education, and we saw that with a good plan and consistency, we could change our situation. When we returned to Japan, we started working full time, from 10 in the morning to 11 at night, every day of the week, on developing the business and publicizing the concept of cryptocurrency and financial education.

“In network marketing, with money, good things get better and bad things get worse.”

OLM IMA: What are the fundamental values that

OLM IMA: What was the biggest obstacle you

any networker must take into account to develop productively on their path to success?

had to face as a OneLife couple on your road to success? How to rise up and move forward, despite the circumstances?

Miki: They say that in network marketing, with money, good things get better and bad things get worse. I firmly believe that the job of a sponsor is to have fundamental values and transmit them correctly to the members. These would be: honour, loyalty, honesty, ethical work, edification, transparency, integrity...

Mark: Unfortunately, this is not always the case. We need to further promote the core values in the industry. But if you train your teams with those values, you make sure the next generation also promotes them. OLM IMA: What would be the 5 keys that you

consider essential to achieve success in the MLM industry and OneLife? Why are they essential to fulfil your dreams? Mark: Part of those keys are related to the values we have discussed before. Integrity, because it is an essential quality for the human being, in whatever they do. Loyalty, because you owe your success to your team, and without that loyalty, we are not more than a group of people exercising a trade, but never a team. Punctuality, because you must value both your time and that of other people. There is a close relationship between how you make use of your time and the success you achieve. Do what you say, because the best way to lead is always by example. And, above all, have fun. Because if you don’t love what you do, you won’t get the results you are looking for. OLM IMA:What new projects and objectives exist

for you and your team? Miki: We are now in a new 90-day plan to get as many IMAs as possible, create more Diamonds and prepare teams and members of the OneLife community for the next phase, when we go public.

Mark: It was easy for us at OneLife, because we already had experience and received a lot of support from our upline and from the company, but I think the most challenging thing for anyone is to BE CONSISTENT. Consistency has also played an important role in our success, and this is something that we are very aware of. Sometimes, it is preferable that you do a little every day than do a lot only for a few days. This is consistency: that day-to-day work and repetition, which leads you to the results. OLM IMA: What do you think about the DealShaker

trading platform, designed to promote the usability of the OneCoin currency? Miki: DealShaker is a great tool for merchants to seriously increase their business: free advertising and no commission on OneCoin transactions. But it is much better to see it in an example: We have a lady in Australia who had no sales on her papaya plantations, and with DealShaker, she sold 26 lots at 300k dollars each. Do the math. Unbeatable! DealShaker is already breathing life into tens of thousands of businesses around the world because it has opened a global showcase for them. It is important for the usability and the creation of value for the currency, but this is the true power of the DealShaker and the reason why we are so excited about it. OLM IMA: Speaking of the Japanese market, what

do you think are its strengths? What opportunities does it offer? Mark: Japan is a leader in the ICO and the legality of the cryptocurrency, which many other countries should take as an example. Therefore, it is also the best market for OneLife leaders, because the project is much better understood and better received. The Japanese government created an environment that promotes the education of people in cryptocurrencies, so OneCoin fits perfectly.

I DON’T WANT TO SELL MY HEALTH

FOR MONEY

THANH DUONG Thanh Duong is one of our strongest leaders in Australia and one of those people who, with his experience, shows us that network marketing doesn’t have to be hard or difficult: it’s all about attitude. And the truth is that in Thanh’s story, there is loss, there is frustration, but when he discovered this industry, he found a place to love and where to feel loved. Thanh suffered a great loss twice and at a very young age and had to build his life from scratch in a new country where he didn’t even know the local language. That boy has become a financial professional over the years, but with a job that was robbing him of his health and the joy of living, until he decided that he wasn’t willing to continue sacrificing his life for a salary. And yet, Thanh Duong is, in fact, a positive and cheerful person who finds hardly any difficulty in developing in the network marketing industry. It’s all about attitude, but also, in his own words, it’s a matter of “smart work”, rather than hard work. It is possible that someone so devoted to the industry finds no hardness in working with people who he connects with in such a profound way. After all, if you love what you do, success won’t be far. In the case of Thanh, only six months were enough for going from the Diamond rank to that of Blue Diamond, and that is something that cannot be achieved without first having gained the respect and trust of the whole team.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

In this interview, Thanh gives us several lessons that will help us understand the key to his success, but he also lets us see how understanding the OneLife’s concept, its ecosystem and its services is vital for the growth of his business, and yours. OLM IMA: You were born in Vietnam, but you’ve

been living in Australia since you were young. What brought you to the Oceanic continent? Was the change difficult? TD: I was born in a very poor village in Vietnam, where I lived with my parents until, at the age of only 8, I lost my mother. A few years later, my father also passed away, and I had to live on my own. It was not easy; I was only thirteen years old. So, as I knew I had relatives in Australia, I decided to travel and meet the rest of my family, and I’ve lived here since I was fifteen. And it was difficult at first, because I didn’t know any English, so I had to learn the language from scratch. It was to start a completely new life, in a different place with a different culture and a different lifestyle. And at fifteen, it’s very difficult to change your whole world, but it was a change I needed to make. OLM IMA: And, speaking of changes, what impact

did network marketing have on your life? What did you do before and why did you decide to take the step to this industry? TD: I worked as a broker in the traditional financial industry for more than ten years, and that means that you have to work very hard and have very little financial and personal freedom. I couldn’t even enjoy a vacation because of the amount of work or switch off the phone for a single day. I could have a good salary in the end, but I had no real freedom.

OLM IMA: Then, from the beginning, I saw that

OLM IMA: And what teaching, advice, book or

network marketing was a new working model, a modern concept that could help people change their lives. And it really is like this: if you understand the system and follow it correctly, you can make big changes in a short period of time.

technique is the one that has helped you most over these years?

TD: Then OneLife comes into your life and creates another, an even greater change. How did you discover the company and what was your idea about this project when it was presented to you? The truth is that at first, I didn’t even believe that something like OneCoin would be useful. Despite my background in finance, I had some misconceptions about this new model of economics, and if there was a type of money that I couldn’t touch, hold in my hand or just see with my own eyes, I wouldn’t trust it. But then, my perception changed. I was invited to a big event in Thailand, and I went there. At the event, I was able to see a lot of leaders, to speak with some of them, so I asked them about their vision of the company, the products and the currency. I opened my mind and did my own research on the world of cryptocurrencies. I realized that there was a great concept behind the OneCoin currency, which was much more than just creating a simple currency, but it was about bringing the economy closer to people and provide access to it. From that event and how my way of thinking changed, I also drew a very important conclusion: people should learn more about new economic models and cryptocurrencies. So, I started by myself and bought one of the educational packages. OLM IMA: What has been the main concept or

dogma that you had to remove from your mind or against which you had to fight most so as to be able to develop as the leader you are today? TD: I learned to select who I accepted advice from (or not): before listening to anyone I would look at how they live their lives. If that life corresponds to what I want my life to be, then I would listen to their advice, because I knew that by following that advice and doing what that person has done, I could get where they are now. But if they are in a situation where I don’t want to see myself or live a life I don’t want for myself, then I wouldn’t listen to that advice. In such case, I would continue working guided by my instinct; I would change what I consider necessary and try to work together with people with positive minds and successful results.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

TD: A long time ago, I read a quote from the millionaire Warren Buffett that said: “If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.” And I could feel that phrase very deeply, because I had seen myself working tirelessly for years without having any real security or freedom. I realized that I didn’t want to sell my health for money. I didn’t want to waste most of my life just to get the money enough just to cover expenses. So my motto to avoid that was “Smart Work vs. Hard Work”. It is not enough to work long hours, to work tirelessly... The important thing is that those hours are worked for a goal and with a strategy. In this sense, network marketing becomes the best place where you can put that principle into practice: with the mutual help and support of all the team members, you can achieve success longterm. And with that long-term success, you gain the most important thing, which is the freedom to be able to choose what you do each of your days. OLM IMA: Although you have lived a good part

of your life in Australia, you still have a strong connection with Vietnam and the leadership of Asia. In these moments, in how many countries is your team present? TD: Another good thing about network marketing is that there really are no limits. It gives me the possibility to grow my business as I want, and the fact that I enjoy travelling a lot and visiting other countries also helps. So I have been able to build my team in many parts of Asia, such as Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, and Vietnam, my homeland, to which I have returned many times. And many other places in Asia and the world! Each country has its culture, people live and work differently, and there are always jobs that are more accepted or more valued in one place than in another. But network marketing is a different, modern way of working and doing business that breaks down those barriers in some way and that more people need to accept and understand. OLM IMA: Was it more difficult to work with a

digital product, such as educational packages, compared to consumable products? What was the reception of the project in Australia and, especially, of DealShaker? TD: Today, it is not difficult to work with digital products, even less so with digital products based on education, like our educational packages. Education is important for everyone, and knowledge is something that, once you acquire it,

you keep it for life, unlike consumable products. And that’s something that users appreciate more and more but that also is an advantage for distributors: while many companies force you to make minimum monthly orders, at OneLife, you only have to buy each educational package once and use it as many times as you want. You can even share your package with the family and make your children study. As for DealShaker, I think it’s a very important element in building OneCoin as a big currency. The key is in the usability, which in turn creates value. But it does so while offering an opportunity for visibility and exposure for many businesses. Many of them have managed to get out of red numbers thanks to their sales through the platform. So, it is having a very good reception, both by the users of currency and by merchants.

imagine going anywhere in the world and paying for a purchase or service with your phone, without having to carry money. What’s more, you can pay with a coin whose creation you have contributed to! You can already do it, and we will work more so that it can be done in more places every time. OLM IMA: In addition to financial freedom and

the ability to help others change their lives, what was the most important thing network marketing brought to your life? TD: Achieving financial freedom and helping others achieve theirs is a dream come true, but one of the most significant things this industry has contributed to my life is seeing how I started to form a small team, and this became a big family. Wherever I go, I meet brothers and sisters. That is a feeling that you cannot find in other industries and something very powerful that money cannot buy.

OLM IMA: In fact, you are very dedicated to the

DealShaker trading platform. What did its launch mean to you and what is the greatest advantage you get from it? TD: DealShaker means a lot to me, but also to every “onelifer” in the world. It creates usability, and usability creates value, a value that is based not on speculation, but on the real usefulness it has for people. On top of that, I think DealShaker is perhaps the most complete and amazing service of the entire OneLife ecosystem and has already changed the lives of many people. Also,

I didn’t want to waste most of my life just to get the money enoughjust to cover expenses. So my motto to avoid that was “SMART WORK VS. HARD WORK”.

USING NETWORK

MARKETING TO DEVELOP PEOPLE

QUINI AMORES AND ROCÍO MAGÁN Quini Amores and Rocío Magán are two well-known faces in Spanish network marketing, two untiring fighters for the financial freedom of their families and their teams, and two clear examples of what OneLife values are. Rocío, a mother and a businesswoman, has found in the network marketing industry a way to create a legacy while generating the most important gain of all: freedom. A freedom that she wants to share with more people in his country and in the world. Quini, who has been in the industry for several years and understands it completely, is especially focused on transmitting the correct mindset, guiding by example and creating leaders that will become even better than him, through education and personal development. Both are strong leadership figures, who proudly carry the values of OneLife in Spain. Rocío and Quini represent, with their example, hard and constant work, the importance of education and the commitment of a leader to their team. And although Spain is a place where entrepreneurship initiatives are still hardly found, the work of these leaders is already leaving a mark of transformation on many lives. OLM IMA: What is missing for Spain to position

itself in financial marketing?

education

and

network

RM.: It is necessary to create the culture of ENTREPRENEURSHIP. We need to teach to dream and to believe that every human being is born with abilities and rights. There is a lack of people who are willing to take risks, and financial education is a missing subject on the planet. Both I and Quini believe in the people of this country, we are able to see what they themselves may not see.

QA.: Spain has what it takes to succeed, they are open and prepared people, but the education that is received today is really aimed at creating the poor. We probably have a historic opportunity to change that dynamic thanks to OneLife and OneAcademy. We also need people who don’t use other people to develop network marketing, but leaders who use network marketing to develop people. OLM IMA: Network marketing is still a concept

unknown to many people. What was your first experience in the industry like? RM.: My first experience was when I was 18 and was looking for information to generate more income. I received a video and was shocked by how many millionaire people there were thanks to that product that a network marketing company offered and, of course, I didn’t think it was so easy. Life gave me a second chance, and this time, thanks to my business experience, I firmly decided to be part of the industry, which I’m now completely in love with. QA.:It is an industry where, normally, you are invited to participate, but, in my case, I was the one who called a friend to ask for help to get out of where I was, and he introduced me to the industry. He showed me on a simple sheet of paper how he managed to build an international business at a really ridiculous cost. For several days, I couldn’t sleep because of the emotion. I had important results that helped me improve my situation and discovered the fairest way to generate income in commerce, depending on my effort and growth. When you learn about the industry having an entrepreneur mindset, you get excited. When you understand it, you fall in love with it.

“We need people who don’t use other people to develop network marketing, but leaders who use network marketing to develop people.”

OLM IMA: Right now, in Spain, we have the pensions

OLM IMA: You are enthusiasts loyal to the OneLife

of the next generation of pensioners hanging in the balance. How can OneLife or OneAcademy help us in this matter?

vision, how did you fall in love with the project and what reasons did you have to maintain that passion?

RM.: Financial education is freedom and, when you have freedom, you no longer depend on any political decision that controls your life. When you develop skills and education, it’s not just for you: you also create a legacy for future generations. QA.: There are several phrases that could answer: “The rich are educated and the poor are entertained”, or “The rich have large libraries and the poor big televisions”. As Robert Kiyosaki says in his book “Cashflow Quadrant: Rich Dad’s Guide to Financial Freedom”, to move from the quadrant of scarcity to that of wealth, education is necessary. OneAcademy provides a really brilliant education, and therefore, the best solution to the problem.

RM.: One of my most powerful dreams is to help children develop their inner potential through personal growth and financial education. When I went bankrupt, I discovered that it was for two reasons. Firstly, because I wasn’t allowed to be BE who I wanted to BE, and secondly, because the school system is obsolete. When I saw the vision of Dr. Ruja Ignatova and the OneWorld Foundation I saw that I was able to fulfil some of my dreams in this company, being part of something historic. QA.: Two points are key to me. First, the mission of the company: to take financial education and the future of payments to people. And second, the international leadership with examples, not with words, making ordinary people become extraordinary. I’ve always thought that you can copy an idea, but OneLife is unique. OLM IMA: Speak to us about the movement “here

I am and here I stay”, which you are part of. How did it arise and what is its importance? RM.: It emerged in a webinar of our Ambassador Jose Gordo. It really moved me, and I transmitted it to all the networkers. It means that here I am for all the people who need help from the OneLife community, and here I stay to show the world that you can be loyal to a philosophy. QA.: We have always shown our image and determination in OneLife. In difficult times, many people from other teams came to us seeking safety and support, becoming a beacon for many others. The honesty and the values of our team have inspired hundreds of people to raise their voice with that hashtag #aquiestoyaquimequedo. Rocío is a woman who transmits a lot of strength and security and who, as a professional, has defined her own personal brand. Despite the fact that two thirds of network marketing worldwide are made up of women, we see few like her leading numerous teams or represented at international and global events. So the question is almost mandatory: OLM IMA: What should change so that we could

see more women leading regional or global events? RM.: We must change the idea that it is a man who should undertake, lead and take on responsibility. We women have a natural intense potential and we can inspire the world. The truth is that I seek to inspire the human being in general, although honestly, if I had to inspire a woman in particular, I would start by inspiring my daughters from my example, so that in the future, they could be anything they want to be.

Quini, who has obtained very good results in the industry after several years of work and evolution, is a leader strongly oriented to the development of the people of his team. We asked him about the most important things he has learned in these years and that he insists on transmitting to his teams. QA.: I develop tools to help anyone get duplication with or without experience, but the most important thing is to develop faith. I make every human being that comes to my life raise their level of self-confidence and faith. My approach is to teach people to dream and to show them that it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. That is not how it is done, it is why it is done. The formula I apply is this:

• Get informed and educated • Change the way of thinking • Focus on dreams: visualize them as part of your life, as if you were already there.

As for the essential habits to make the business prosper, both coincide: the most important ones are those that “raise the Self”. These are, for example, reading, meeting new people, attending events, working as a team and for the team. And dreaming. Dreaming a lot. But you also have to face challenges. OLM IMA: What was the most difficult moment

you have experienced in your beginnings and how did you overcome it? RM.: For me, it was when I had to face myself and discover who I was and what my purpose was, and that I could only achieve it in this industry. Be true to your principles and your dreams without ever lowering your head, no matter what happens. QA.: When I discovered that network marketing was not a Noah’s ark, that there were people so poor that they only had the money. But I needed that experience to grow, be more tolerant and know that the world was not all pink and bright, but network marketing can make your life to be like it. already working?

QA.: I want to positively impact a million of people worldwide with this industry. And thanks to having better people than me in my team, every day, we are closer to that dream. Put a seed of hope in a human heart, so that it could unleash its full potential. I work hard to create Diamonds in my organization.

RM.: To impact the lives of thousands of people and make them experience the true feeling of freedom: personal, economic, financial...

A quote from the biggest industry, Dexter Yager, marks my way: “Create Diamonds, Create Freedom.” And we’re getting there.

OLM IMA: A wish for the future, on which you are

“Be true to your principles and your dreams without ever lowering your head, no matter what happens.”

MANSOUR TAWAFI Born in Afghanistan, Mansour is one of the UK’s Black Diamonds who recently made that country the leading consumer of financial education in Europe. He is one of those punctilious and methodical people who feel a vital need to learn and grow, which is an essential part of their success. But in this interview, Mansour shows us a much more important side of understanding his success: his faith, vision and service to the team.

A few months ago, the UK became the country with the highest sales of OneAcademy educational packages in Europe. But this achievement is much more important if we consider that shortly before, the national teams had suffered a streak of discouragement and division when losing influential members in favour of other opportunities. Mansour Tawafi has not only managed to consolidate OneLife in that country with an overwhelming force, but he also works in many parts of the world, creating leadership, promoting education and demonstrating that everything is possible when you have faith in what you do and in your capacity. It is a leader who finds it difficult to define himself as such and who has been educated and trained throughout his life to become someone who can bring value to the world. Something that he is already successfully doing from his mentor position. OLM IMA: Your most treasured hobbies such as

paragliding and parachuting have allowed you to face your fears and help you grow. How do these activities impact your work? MT: I remember my first skydiving experience. From the moment I got into the transport carts and onto the plane to the moment of the dive, I was so scared. I was thinking of the worst and analysing everything that could go wrong. As we approached the jumping spot inside the plane, my heart was beating in my throat, but the second I jumped and was in the air, all the fear was gone and I felt as free as a bird, looking at the dreamy horizon and taking in all this beauty. Later on, I realised that we live life in the same way. We fear doing something unknown for such a long time that we don’t do it, but once done, we realise how rewarding it can be, that life begins at the edge of your comfort zone, and I love getting uncomfortable and facing my fears.

OLM IMA: We know you love reading and doing

other activities that allow constant growth. What would be that book that everybody should read and why? I believe leaders are readers, and it’s fascinating to know the wealth of information available to us in some of the most intelligent minds of the world, which we can tap into simply by picking up a book. “The 21 irrefutable laws of leadership” by John Maxwell was a topper for me. It has helped me acquire some of the best leadership qualities necessary for our business. There are many more, and strangely, the more you read, the more you realise you need to read. OLM IMA: OneLife/OneCoin is facing industrial

and regulatory risks, or in other words, has had legal and competition troubles. How do you see the company facing these market challenges? MT: OneLife is not just a company, it’s a movement, an educational revolution shaping the mindset of people, allowing them to discover, understand and participate in the future of payments. This might make a lot of people uncomfortable. I have always believed and will continue to believe in the strong concept and leadership this company is founded on, and I’m certain we will make it through each difficulty, stronger than when we entered it. I have been in the OneLife network for the last 27 months, and today, I can confidently say we have never been stronger and more focused on our mission, and we have never been closer to accomplishing the vision Dr. Ruja painted for the world 3 years ago. The network and the corporate team are more in alignment than ever before. So let all the haters know: we are united, we are strong and we are here to win!

OLM IMA: People usually say that one cannot build

OLM IMA: With your success and achievements,

when the momentum is dead. We show that they are wrong; we show how real leaders can build under any circumstance. Every business has ups and downs; our leaders stood firm in credibility towards themselves and worked relentlessly.” This quote of yours is very inspiring. How do you inspire your team to work relentlessly with all the recent attacks that the company has experienced?

we know that you have a lot of experience in the MLM industry. How does it feel to be a leader for so many people?

MT: The best inspiration for them is to set an example. When a difficulty arises, I’ve realised the team always looks at the reaction of their leaders and then react accordingly. I can react to any situation in the best way because when you’re not doing anything wrong, there is no reason to fear. Everything I have done in this company was done with the best of intentions, for a big vision and for the benefit of humanity. People follow you once they know you’re here for something bigger than yourself. When a leader can paint the invisible, the team can do the impossible. OLM IMA: You’re planning to reach the Crown

Diamond rank. What is the plan to achieve this great rank? Which surely won’t be a challenge for you. MT: Aim for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars” is the thought I started with and from the very first day decided that I will become a Crown Diamond and potentially the youngest Crown Diamond in the network. Hitting all other positions has been a fulfilling experience, but my goal is to produce many other Crown Diamonds in our organisation. As long as I focus on other people’s success, this industry and this company will ensure my success.

MT: I never think of myself as a leader of my team, but rather as a key player in a community of 3.3 million people worldwide. I am always ready and equipped to serve that community and the people in it. I can add a lot of value to our global team, and offered the opportunity to do so, I will endeavour to meet and go beyond any expectations set for me. Many new networkers encounter difficulties in this, perhaps due to disinformation and lack of conviction. What should leaders specifically do to strengthen their team in this regard? What relationship does the GLG have with this aspect? OLM IMA:

MT: Events constitute the best tool for our business. It’s where an expert does all the hard work, whereas new members just invite their prospects to a professional business meeting. To reach the full potential of the network, we need to have a system where all events worldwide are in sync, with the same information and open to members of all teams. Mr. Frank Ricketts and Mr. Jens Laustsen have done a fantastic job spreading this idea around the world together with the Global Leadership Group. I believe that the day is not far when someone in one country can have guests sitting at events in different continents/countries around the world, hearing the same presentation and joining the same team.

People follow you once they know you’re here for something bigger than yourself. When a leader can paint the invisible, the team can do the impossible. OLM IMA: You are very familiar with our star

OLM IMA: It is important to mention that the

tool, the DealShaker platform. What are the advantages of the platform that merchants in your country should take into account so as to promote the development of their businesses?

attacks aimed at the company affect its credibility, because many IMAs receive distorted information that discourages their work. What can be done to make the OneLife marketing network continue to strengthen its structures and not allow these attacks to affect it?

MT: I have worked closely with many DealShaker sponsors, merchants and customers, and if everyone knew how powerful the DealShaker platform is, they would join by the hordes. It is the first of its kind to combine e-commerce and cryptocurrency, it’s just a matter of time before the world adopts it. In this competitive time where businesses almost fight with each other, it only makes sense to set yourself apart. All merchants ask “What’s my risk?” and “What’s my reward?”, and I answer those two questions in a clear and rational manner. Once that is clear, they just have to decide whether they will be a pioneer or let their competitor earn that title and follow later. OLM IMA: In recent weeks, some news has been

very present in social networks about the strict control of the advertising on cryptocurrencies, binary options and ICOs. What do you think of this decision? Does it affect OneCoin? MT: Frankly, I am happy about the ban on ICOs and cryptocurrencies on social networks. Large amounts of people have fallen prey to many dishonest projects and have lost tons of money. Dr. Ruja did the right thing by thinking of network marketing as a strategy to reach the world. Network marketing triumphs, as it is based on trust, relationships and word of mouth. Rather than using social networks to grow, we grew in a similar way as social networks. Today, OneCoin has become a global brand, and I don’t think this ban will affect our growth or success.

MT: Source checking is of utmost importance. The corporate team definitely plays a large role in terms of their public image and clarifying accusations, and they can and will do more from their side. In the meanwhile, I strongly advise the network to only trust information from reliable sources, credible authorities and from the company’s official representatives. And I look forward to the day when a positive fact will spread through the network as quick as a possible negative opinion. OLM IMA: Can you share a little more about your

project to support the development of countries like Afghanistan in its educational structure? MT: It’s a communal obligation to give back to the people less fortunate. Giving money is good and helpful, but educating and empowering the new generation is what I feel very passionate about. Afghanistan is now a developing country, and I have initiated projects that will help the new generation of students from that country not just to be more capable of adapting to the rapidly developing technologies of our time, but also to be at the forefront of innovation and implementation of those technologies. This will allow them to compete alongside peers from the most advanced countries in the world and at the same time, to benefit and create invaluable opportunities for the communities around them in their local areas.

PASSION IS THE KEY TO

THE SUCCESS IN LIFE

JEAN-LUC BEILLE Life often teaches us that opportunities are closer than we think. Sometimes we are out of focus and strive to work hard, but we don’t realize that we don’t have a real purpose, as if we lived to exist. It sounds contradictory, but the reason is that it’s not only about saying “I will work hard”, it’s also important, even more than hard, to work with passion and to love what you do. That’s where we should be honest with ourselves and decide what we really want to do. Something that we would do even without being paid.

Jean-Luc Beille is a leader who shows us that he does what he does because he enjoys being committed to doing it. At the moment he sets a goal in his head, there is nothing or no one to blur that goal. You must be aware that the sum of your decisions is the result that you get in the end. Success is not a program that is completed overnight, it is an array of actions performed with excellence. However, it is very important to bear in mind that when we are in the process on the path to success, we must be strong and humble, believe that we are capable of doing whatever we set out to do, but act according to certain values, ready to win this game of life, not only in our own benefit, but in that of the whole community.

OLM IMA: Why did you make the decision to

When you are happy with yourself, it doesn’t even matter if sometimes the results are not as expected. You accept them, learn and start again. Today, we realize that life itself is interesting from the point of view of whoever thinks it’s interesting. Jean-Luc Beille gives us a beautiful lesson: the most important part of life is the process and not the final goal. This is the conclusion of what this great leader has taught us, but his results tell us even more. In this interview, you’ll find out that everything is possible if you consider it so.

venture into OneLife? What did you most like about the project and what is the purpose of your work in the company? JB: I made the decision to join OneLife because I saw all the lights turn green for a success like never before. This company provides training on financial issues to all its members. A technological revolution: the Blockchain; an economic revolution: the cryptocurrency. I was impressed by the vision of the company, created by Dr. Ruja Ignatova, and I can say that after more than two and a half years, everything that had been announced in the world of the digital currency has come true. OLM IMA: What new goals do you have, related to

JB: The objective number 1 is to keep contributing with my OnePowerTeam to adding an even more important value to OneCoin and to increasing its usability, as well as to take part in the growth of the OneLife mining community and to encourage more merchants to accept OneCoin and to join the DealShaker platform. We are still in the creation phase, and there is no better time to produce a great number of coins before the introduction to the public market, on October 8, 2018.

“The OneAcademy is going to help millions of people understand how they could create their own wealth.”

Be like the water, so that nobody could stop you and you could overcome any obstacle.

OLM IMA: What leader has inspired you most and

OLM IMA: What are the main values that every

team in OneLife should always have to overcome great challenges and get excellent results?

JB: The leader who inspires me the most is PascalRene Andre, the top Austrian leader of OneLife. From my point of view, he is an example of bravery, dedication, hard work and a great educational potential. But above all, he is always present to help all the members of his team. So I’m dedicated to giving the best of myself to my team, duplicating my mentor’s leadership. OLM IMA: What book do you like the most and is

one that has marked your work the most? What would be the main ideas taken from it? JB: The book that marked a before and after in my career is “Who Has Stolen My Cheese?” by Spencer Johnson. It has taught me to always be at the heart of the action, to anticipate things, to be positive, to guide the way for others and above all, “to overcome the fear of choosing a different path”. These are the most valuable lessons this book has given me. OLM IMA: How does it feel to have such a great

responsibility, being a top leader and a mentor to so many people who support and trust your work? What would be the most important piece of advice to be a productive networker that you would like to share? JB: I think that my entire professional career has been guided by this model of a top leader and a mentor. I have been a tennis teacher for over 25 years, I have even coached Martina Hingis (former World No. 1) in her adolescence. It is very gratifying to see that all the help, all the training, all the good attitude that one can give to people for their success lead to a positive result AND make the members of my own team happy!

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

JB: Work, enthusiasm, positive attitude, integrity, unity. These are the essential values to achieve the best results. Let’s talk a little about each one. Work is more understood as action, it is impossible to just want to do something. Things are achieved if you take action, if every day, you get to do small things, consistently. Take the first step and never stop doing it. Action is the determination to make it possible for your dreams to come true. The enthusiasm, it is the attitude of feeling admiration for doing something that we are passionate about, it is the very sense that we find in doing what we do. This has a lot to do with the purpose of life. You find a purpose for your life, a special sense and enjoy everything you live. On the other hand, the right attitude allows us to be more aware of all the opportunities that are presented to us. The positive attitude makes us see each obstacle as a world of opportunities. This is more productive for us; it allows us to identify projects or strategies that are more effective for our lives and to take advantage of them, which is the contrary to seeing a sea of problems and drown in it. The integrity is a very important quality. It is related to being what we are in excellence, in all areas of our lives, to always doing things the best way possible, no matter the circumstances. Finally the unity is essential, not only in the MLM industry, but in any project or venture. The unity of the team is its strength. When working with people, it is important to set one goal and that everybody works for it, joining the forces and turning them in one single direction. The synergy is the ability of a team to carry out all actions like in an orchestra, where the effectiveness of one leads to the effectiveness of the whole.

OLM IMA: Why is financial education important?

OLM IMA: Sustainable development of our planet

Why should everyone study at OneAcademy?

is fundamental, how do you think we at OneLife can contribute to it? Keeping in mind that network leaders are so influential and inspiring for thousands of people.

JB: Education is essential! To prevent the immense majority of people from behaving in a “crowd” and to help them not to fall into what would be “an already designed life”, which only allows a few people from the elite to get rich. OneAcademy is going to help millions of people understand how they could create their own wealth. OLM IMA: Faith is the conviction about what

cannot be seen and the certainty about what is to come (according to the Bible). But you don’t have to be religious to accept this premise. Do you believe that this can be applied directly in the development of a networker? Or a traditional entrepreneur? JB: I believe that it is even the key to EVERYTHING. It allows us to have the greatest possible resistance to the negative emotions that can brake us on our path, but it also allows us to be more perseverant in order to achieve our objectives.

JB: The OneLife community will allow all social classes, including the “unbanked”, to regain access to the global economy, while at the same time helping the most vulnerable thanks to the OneWorld Foundation. OLM IMA: Can you identify yourself with an

element among water, fire, air and earth to characterize your personality in your business and in the MLM industry? JB: Without a doubt, it would be WATER. First, because I need to be close to the sea to feel at ease, but also because, with our leaders’ actions, we create a multitude of streams to take our team to success. And of course, it always overcomes all obstacles: no one can stop the water.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

OLM IMA: Why did you decide to venture into

the world of network marketing? What was the strongest reason that motivated you to work in the MLM industry? Today, what are the reasons that keep you active in this business, leading great teams in OneLife? SA: My why, the reason I joined OneLife IMA was because I wanted to have freedom of time, to become an independent person, not to work nine-to-five, to change my family life, engage into personal development and educate myself about the financial revolution. The reasons that kept me in the business: I have goals and I want to change many people’s lives globally, directly or indirectly. And by doing so, my goals will be achieved automatically. It’s all about taking care about each other. We lead thousands of people worldwide. Our organisation spreads in the UK, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, India, Emirates, New Zealand, Canada, Somalia, Kenya. OLM IMA: What would be the before and after for

you in the network marketing industry? SA: Before I joined OneLife, I used to work more than 12 hours a day and struggle to survive. I didn’t have goals, it felt like being blind. Now, I have learnt to have goals, short term and long term, and the skill to make them possible and to fulfil all my dreams. And this is what constitutes a difference: it gives me time and freedom. And I also started coaching other people how on to become financially independent and educated with OneAcademy. OLM IMA: What were the most relevant reasons for

taking the decision to join the OneLife network? SA: The first time I learned about OneLife, I liked the vision and the structure of the company. The world has become digitalised, technology is everywhere. What attracted me most was that the company educates its members globally and gives them the opportunity to become a trained miner of the coin. So, I didn’t hesitate. After a research, I decided to become part of OneLife.

OLM IMA: Which leader inspires you the most, how

did they mark your life and what is your concept of mentoring and duplication? SA: The leaders who inspire me most are Staffan Liback and Simon Le. They are hard-working people and they make a difference helping less fortunate and children. I enjoy what I do. I mentor anyone willing to learn and teach. Duplication is the key to change others peoples’ lives. But you must change your life first, and then, others will follow you. OLM IMA: What are the fundamental values of

your OneLife team work? Those basic principles that lead to success in your work? SA: Working as a team can produce significant changes in the short term. The work synergy within my organization is fundamental, we are all for one and one for all. When you work in this way, there are commitment and unity. The forces are focused on achieving the same objective, so the benefit is for everyone. A single person can run faster, but a person accompanied will always go further if they do so as a team.

I choose people with the right mindset, eager to change their lives and willing to change other lives for the better. I personally work with people who have a vision, who are eager for knowledge, who have enough humility to help others change, and so, their results come by inertia. Finally, the last basic principle to do a job that leads to success is to work. That is to say, to act, not only dreaming, but to make it a reality. And this is achieved through many sacrifices, it will be hard at first, but later, you will realize that it is worth it. Hard work works, as long as you have the passion for doing it. Because sometimes, we also make the mistake of not having defined our purpose, and that effort doesn’t go well. Self-confidence is fundamental to do our best. It is the fuel to make sound decisions and take action in this regard. It is what allows us to have dreams and struggle to achieve them. Also, when we have faith, there will be nothing or nobody that could separate us from our objectives.

OLM IMA: From the prospective of your career

and great achievements as a networker, what you think are the essential qualities and skills of a networker to obtain great results in OneLife? SA: From the point of view of my knowledge about how to become a successful leader, number one is to follow the system, then to educate yourself to the maximum and get to the position where you can train and teach others. The opportunity to have successful life experiences is a blessing, that is why it is very logical to follow the system that many have already applied, to put all the effort into that structure of work and then, to duplicate. Sometimes we want to complicate our lives, and many times, things are there waiting for us to use them. Number two is hard work. Nothing comes free in this life, and when you fight for a goal with all the strength, it is likely to be sustainable over time. Honesty with yourself and your team. First, you define if you really want to do this business. Remember that it is not just to want and to act like robots, it is to do it with passion and to generate happiness. Working in a team is essential, because you are a key piece for a common goal and other people count on your 100% commitment. Reliability: trust in yourself and in others. It allows you to develop a stronger team, make your team members take the initiative and be duplicators in excellence. When there is such a synergy in a team, it becomes a family, and we begin to see each other in the same way, so we look for the common good and take care of the people of the entire organization. And even when you reach the highest ranks, it gives other people the opportunity to start and let them learn from your mistakes.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

Finally, integrity is a fundamental value. It is about everything we do in all areas of our life and being ourselves before any person and any circumstance. Being the best version of ourselves at all times, despite the situation. OLM IMA: OneLife has been strongly attacked in

the market, so why remain loyal to the project? What makes you go forward and keeps you growing, aiming at higher ranks? What message would you transmit to the more than 3 million members of this great family? SA: The reason I stay loyal to OneLife in difficult times is the fact that when I joined, I saw the vision and I believe in it since. Everything company promised has been delivered. When I start something, I have to finish it. If you are part of big project, you cannot accept it from the beginning and then just leave it halfway through. It doesn’t make sense. So, as long as the company is here and growing, I will be part and growing with it. And we will finish together. No matter how challenging the times we face on our journey, we will stand and stay strong. At the moment, I’m a Blue Diamond. My aim is to achieve higher ranks and help everyone in our organisation to reach the top. My message to the members is as follows: we have a great company, willing to educate members and offering us OneAcademy, which will open our eyes, and we will be able to take decisions about today’s financial situation. It’s all about learning today and leading tomorrow. We need to have faith and patience. 3 years of operation is not enough time for this project. It will take more time. And we are not here to question and demand more. When time comes, everything will come. Don’t ask what company can do for you, ask yourself what you can do for the company. What we need to understand is that we are in the right time, the right place and the right company.

LET’S LEAVE A LEGACY. THE WORLD EXPECTS US TO LEAVE A GOOD MEMORY AND A MARK OF HAPPINESS ON MANY HEARTS. OLM IMA: DealShaker is a strategic tool that allows

OLM IMA: Speaking about the new GLG project,

the usability of the OneCoin currency and targets a huge community of users, which is OneLife. Do you think that this e-commerce platform will change the direction of the world’s finances? In what way? Why should a merchant take the opportunity to be present on this platform?

what role do you play within this leadership team? What do you think is the importance of this work and how it will help the OneLife community?

SA: DealShaker is making huge difference in the whole OneLife business, because e-commerce is fast and powerful and it will help the usability and all the members. I’m from Somalia, and the whole country uses digital payments from their mobile phones, it’s called EVCplus. It connects merchants and users and provides payment solutions. Today, everyone has a mobile phone, and this can help global payment system. In East Africa, they use digital payment system called M-pesa. So, Africa is prepared for the DealShaker platform. I believe this can help African businesses. The demand from OneLife Africa is very high; we are working hard to make the DealShaker number one platform in Africa. OLM IMA: As a Blue Diamond, what are your new

projects and goals? How do you see yourself in OneLife in 5 years? What is your strategy to make thousands of followers who trusted you learn and achieve great results in this company? SA: As Blue Diamond, my goal is to contribute to the OneLife project. I want to bring one million users to my organisation and create demand for OneLife and DealShaker. I also want to train all the networkers to the highest level of their skills and make people understand how they benefit from the company. I have been educating the members over the last two years in Europe, Australia and Canada. Now, my biggest project is Africa. The demand is very high. In two years, I have progressed very well, but Africa might be something I won’t be able to do in two years, but in five. I think I can reach millions of users, if not more. There are thousands of people in my organisation who trusted me and the company. I will be loyal and helpful. We will achieve our goals together, and I will share all my knowledge and skills. The company has open-minded and visionary people who can see what is coming and not what we have today. As an organisation, we need more than 1000 leaders worldwide. Now, we have hundreds of leaders in many countries. OneLife found us, and we found OneLife. We will come and find you, but don’t wait for us to find you, find us, too. Together for more. We can make history in a very short time and change billions of lives if we do the right thing, educate and share what we learn together.

SA: I feel honoured and humble being part of OneLife GLG. I would like to thank Mr. Frank, the captain of GLG. Without him, there would be no GLG. We learned a lot from him. It’s a privilege for me to work with him and receive his direct coaching. With more than 40 years experience, a leader like Frank is a dream come true. We are 100% confident that Frank will change the quality of OneLife leadership. He has the experience and the heart to make a difference. The GLG project is about creating connection among all leaders globally and train them to the best level of professionalism. And of course, we have an inner circle representing us in the company. My role as a GLG member is to maintain the reputation of the company and its members. I have already managed to invite Mr. Frank to the biggest online meeting in my network. We had a very rewarding meeting and amazing feedback from the members. The GLG will create new face and new beginning for all members, and we will do whatever it takes to make OneLife’s vision greater by sharing the correct information, as the company wants the whole world to be educated about the project and financial revolution. I’m proud to be part of this wonderful organisation. OLM IMA: Speaking about your free time, tell us a

little about your hobbies and how they influence your energy level and/or your work performance. SA: My main hobby is sport, I especially football, I support Arsenal since 19Then, reading books. If I could, I would read all the books. I like watching movies. I also play golf. I don’t play football now, because I don’t want get injured and be off my job. OLM IMA: Speaking about family, love, integrity,

commitment, loyalty, conviction and faith, what do these concepts mean to you? SA: I have a caring family and an amazing and supportive wife. I would like to thank her. I love my wife, my children and my mom. I want to give her a great thank you for what she has done for me. And they are my “why” to stay strong and positive so as to give them the life they deserve. What makes us different and respected is the integrity we have to be an example for others. We need to have commitment and fight for everything we believe in. Anyone can make a difference in their lives. You have to take care of anything you’re part of. Trust yourself and trust people around you. Gain a trust, don’t demand it. People will see you actions, rather than your words. Unity, faith, respect and loyalty have to be our values. Leave a legacy, world is waiting for us to leave a good memory and a happiness mark on many hearts.

TEAM SYNERGY Diego Cajigal has more than 10 years of active experience in the industry. He is a mentor and a creator of success stories. For him, the word freedom “is not only money”, but also quality time with his family, tranquillity, a different lifestyle and seeing the world. In this way, OneLife becomes an incredible vehicle to fulfil his dreams.

Diego Cajigal is a leader who transforms lives, starting with his own. His work in the industry is characterized by the development of his organization based on solid values and principles that make the results last over time. Without a doubt, in the career of this mentor, the importance of team synergy specifically stands out, which is also accompanied by relentless dedication and small, but repeated actions directed at one objective. And each member of the team carries out their work consistently. Diego defines his teammates as “brave with the sole objective of not failing in the attempt”. OLM IMA: You have been part of the creation

of many success stories. But how does yours start? Why did you decide one day that network marketing was your thing?

successful, you must obtain a university degree and work very hard to climb the career ladder. And I did it, but it was not enough. There was something missing. I looked for solutions and found the lifestyle I wanted, and people who had it worked professionally in the network marketing industry, so I decided to join in, learn, build and set out to be a great leader. I am still in process, but it has been a wonderful experience. OLM IMA: In network marketing, it is often said that

on your path to success, it is essential to attend company events. Diego gives us the opportunity to know the reason why events are important to him. DC: At the first network marketing event I attended, I saw the lifestyle that I was looking for: travelling, time for the family, financial freedom and great learning. More competent and better educated people with admirable results obtained through hard work and effort. And they insisted that it was never too late to do it. I realized that I shared with other people the same dreams and saw how they were achieving them by following the footsteps of those who had already done it before. It was enough for me to take the decision to start.

DC: It all began when I discovered that I didn’t have a purpose at my traditional job. It’s not that I didn’t do things well, but that I spent my life fulfilling the dreams of others and not mine. My dream was not to be highly educated with university degrees, postgraduate courses, specializations and hired on high positions in important companies. My dream had more to do with the quality of life. Quality time for my family, an income that would make me forget debts, peace of mind and happiness. Financial freedom.

Every time there was an event with someone who had great results, I attended no matter how far it was or the price. I was and I am convinced that the best investment is in oneself, and attending an event is an investment to take your education to another level.

I grew up with an idea that if you want to be

I think that you never finish learning.

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

Audios, books, live events, top industry leaders with great results from hard work and values, like Jim Rohn, or leadership experts, like John Maxwell, became my mentors and they continue to be.

OLM IMA: You are a true Diamond creator. What

vision do you have when you work on the growth of your leaders? What motivates you most? DC: I’m motivated by the satisfaction of contributing to a more educated and hopeful world. Developing people and positively influencing their lives triggers the multiplier effect. If I, with my work, can impact the lives of thousands of families, just think how many they will impact. I am proud of being a positive impact. I focus on creating more Diamonds in OneLife, contributing to create a better world and more united families. OLM IMA: What makes you connect with the

OneLife mission? DC: The spirit of giving people hope for a better world. Education is the key to combating ignorance, which in turn is the main cause of so many mistakes in the world. I am 100% aligned with the OneLife mission of creating awareness for a progressive improvement. We can work as a team and create a powerful business where, in addition, we have the privilege of having ONE while building a greater future. OLM IMA: What has been the achievement that

you are most proud of? DC: I feel very proud of having fulfilled my dream and that, as a result, those of others are fulfilled. I have more time to enjoy the growth of my children and to see the world together with my wife, who is

also my partner in this work. Of impacting so many lives and going to bed every night with a smile because more families are as happy as mine. OLM IMA: Why are values important when building

a team? DC: With values, you create teams that last over time. Working with values and transmitting the principles of ethics and honesty is what lays strong foundations for long-term results. On the other hand, there is the tranquillity of acting well and of generating healthy spaces of coexistence. Money is worthless if there is no peace in the heart. That is how we build leaders who become referents with essence and not just facades that disappear after a few months. OLM IMA: Is there the perfect team? Are you

looking for a special quality in the members of your team? DC: There is no perfect team, because teams are made up of people, and there are no perfect people. But we can create and be part of wonderful and powerful teams, where each member brings their talent, and the sum of all give as a result a winning team. The quality I appreciate most is the consistency. I define it in people as the quality of being brave to maintain focus and be constant until reaching the goals and objectives without breaking down in the process.

OLM IMA: Have you experienced failures? What is

the best strategy to overcome them? DC: I have lived many, but I prefer to call them experiences and challenges that I overcome while walking the path of success. I have faced challenges so strong that they even adversely affected my life, but my strategy to overcome all the circumstances is to maintain focus and to feed my mind and my heart with positive thoughts. What advice would you give to people who are deciding whether to start in network marketing? My advice is to plunge into it, this business really works. Also, learn professional work techniques to generate results. Today, there is a lot of material: videos, audios, audiobooks and events, all the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed. But above all, take on this challenge with the best attitude. It is something that makes a difference. As I said before, it is also important to have a mentor and follow the recommendations of those who have already had the results. OLM IMA: How do you see the teams in Latin

America and their evolution in the coming months?

136 |

ONELIFE MAGAZINE IMA MAY 2018

DC: I had seen great leaders join in the same project with tremendous results, which has generated an explosive and surprising growth of Latin America. Now, new talents have joined in by the Law of the Association and have brought more dreamers willing to grow and move forward. This, added to the results generated by those who were already here, projects an exponential growth never before seen in the industry and makes this the best time to take action. OLM IMA: What dreams do you want to fulfil before

you start thinking about retiring? DC: I have a purpose, and that is that thousands of families in different countries can live a life of financial freedom and achievement of their personal goals. My dream is to make that possible while visiting nations, cities and sharing my experience and knowledge with perseverance and humility. Another of my great dreams is to leave a legacy and enjoy with my children and my wife everything we have built. I want to always continue dreaming, because as long as I do so, I will keep travelling the exciting path of life with joy, hope and peace.
