One.Life Planner & Journal Have you ever felt lost, a little adrift in the world? At some point, we all have. We look around, not quite sure how our lives arrived at this point, a place we never quite intended to be. This is often caused by a simple oversight, the failure to equip ourselves with a plan; to set aside the time to define what's most important to us, what we want out of life and how exactly we are going to achieve it. Would you embark on a long and important journey without considering the best route? If you did, would it reduce the chances of reaching your desired destination? Might it lead to wrong turnings, wasted effort and frustration? This planner has been produced to help you find your path. Providing a simple framework for breaking down your goals into sensible and achievable targets, as well as reminding you to enjoy the journey. The minutiae of daily life can so often get in the way, distracting your focus and causing you to lose sight of what's most important. This planner will be your companion, helping you stay on track, wherever it is you want to go.

Reflection pages At the end of each month there is the opportunity to reflect on your life and progress towards your Primary Goals.
Goal Setting Guide: Step 1 What is life to you? Begin by assessing your essential attitudes to life by completing the following exercise: Imagine you are extremely old and on your death-bed, you have 2 minutes to live. Your great grandchild takes you by the hand and asks, "Before you go, please tell me what I should do with my life?" You have 2 minutes to decide how you would answer. Think about it deeply, based on your own life experience so far. Try to avoid meaningless cliches and instead decide upon what you believe to be the truth; the best advice you could give to someone you love. After 2 minutes, write down your answer on the page opposite. Whatever you write is important, and very personal to you. It is your belief of how best to live a fulfilled life. During the following goal-setting phase, try and remember this ethos, it is your own best advice to yourself and should logically underpin your goals, priorities and the very spirit in which you live.

Step 3 What a re you r top prioriti es? Now go back and identify the goals that are most important to you right now, numbering them in order of priority. These are your Primary Goals. Make sure they are goals you genuinely want to achieve; it's natural to consider the wants of those closest to you, but you must also remain true to yourself! Step 4 Brainstorm Pl a n ni ng For each of your Primary Goals, you need create an action plan. Take each goal in turn, add a target date and brainstorm the things you think you need to do in order to acheive it; write down things randomly as they occur to you. Please read ‘Step 5’ before you begin.
Step 5 Complete your Action Plans You need an organised plan for each goal, not just a jumbled to-do list! Order the tasks you will define in Step 4, adding realistic dates for the completion of each task. Tasks & dates must then be entered into your monthly & weekly schedules; there to remind you of what's most important, when the distractions of life may cause you to forget! Timeframes will naturally vary depending on the goal set, but if yours is a multi-year goal, try to go into greater detail about the tasks to complete during 2016! Use the blank pages that follow, and any additional sheets you may need, for Steps 4 & 5 of your planning; firstly, breaking down your own goals into straightforward & manageable tasks (Step 4), then forming a tight, timebound, but realistic, action plan (Step 5).
